Obviously sees things very differently with players, Mmaee and Hoever stink the place out, still selecting Johnson and he’s not playing Junior in the right position. If he resolves this for Millwall then just slightly, possibly, perhaps maybe….but I think he will be as clueless as the last four five with players out of position and in the team for no good reason, so for me, I’m out….we have to have a better manager. I guarantee that any new manager coming in will select players that certain fans don't rate.

Think he's doing alright, the last two performances at least shows he's working on shape and discipline on the training ground. The players seem to be on board, I'd rather have Gallagher at the moment than Eustace.

Looks like we've actually worked hard on the training pitch, look disciplined and holding their shape for the first time in a long time. Hope we can maintain it but don't think the level of fitness is good enough.

But you've already stated he's a 'complete nothing player' so you're only going to see the mistakes he makes to confirm your view. We all do it, I like Johnson so I see the good things he does in a game. Some get a little entrenched in their opinions of players. Perfectly capable of being objective and not suffering from confirmation bias… he’s just useless. No agenda, just my opinion. I’d have no problem congratulating him if he’d played well but he doesn’t affect the game, albeit scoring a penalty last night. His general play is poor in terms of being an attacking threat. No problem with him being in the squad as a backup as it’s not like he’s making mistake after mistake, but he’s a sensationally average footballer and we won’t achieve much with him starting as an attacking midfielder. There's not one stoke player who affects the game in a positive way at the moment but Johnson is one player who does try and play early forward balls and defends high up the pitch. He's no world beater but is an easy target for people who seem to prefer a safer sideways and backwards passer of the ball in midfield.

Crazy how one man's 4 is another man's 7 when watching the same game! Personally, when judging DJ's performance, I lean more towards those giving him a 4. I really don't see what tangible effect he has on the team - complete nothing player. He's nowhere near forward-thinking or creative enough to warrant taking up that role, and offers little defensively. I must admit - prior to signing him I didn't really know too much about him but I find myself very unimpressed. Bae should be in there and given a good run of games to allow himself to fully bed in. He's infinitely better than Johnson. But you've already stated he's a 'complete nothing player' so you're only going to see the mistakes he makes to confirm your view. We all do it, I like Johnson so I see the good things he does in a game. Some get a little entrenched in their opinions of players.

Slowly transforming from the player we desperately needed to a liability. The free kick he conceded that led to the corner for the equaliser was lazy half hearted indiscipline. He should have a 6 match ban for the advertising board embarrassment alone. Almost like you trying to blame him for the equalizer. The free kick was defended and then our keeper went walkabout on the corner. One of our better players tonight Keeper was 100% at fault, but it was a lazy unnecessary free kick to give away. He could be fitter and late in games he gives away too many of these free kicks.

We laughed at his theatre performance when he threw himself over the advertising board in slow motion..but we didn't know he was on a 2 match ban...he will have done!! It used to be a joke about players getting banned for christmas but has he just proved it??? Slowly transforming from the player we desperately needed to a liability. The free kick he conceded that led to the corner for the equaliser was lazy half hearted indiscipline. He should have a 6 match ban for the advertising board embarrassment alone.

What's happened to Sol Sidibe? A new manager has a very decent pool of young players: Simkin Hoever McNally Wilmot Tchamadeu Burger Sidibe Bae Mmaee Tezgel Campbell I'm sure a half competent coach could muster a decent team out of those players plus the more established members of the squad.

Bring Warnock in until the end of the season and use the next few months to scour the globe for a progressive young coach and do a genuine reset.

As daft as it sounds this would be the ideal scenario for mad Nath, a young squad managed by a young ambitious coach. He’s 50 years old. 8 years older than AN. We just sacked a ‘young ambitious coach’. 😉 I've had to google Neil and fuck me you are right, Neil is indeed younger than mad Nath. Speechless.

Mark Hughes brought Bojan, Arnie and Shaqiri to Stoke and for three seasons we matched and beat the very best. For those reasons alone he will always be held in the very highest regard by me.

I think it’s much deeper than on the pitch. I can’t see any manager making a success out of this for the foreseeable. But I’m not qualified to make suggestions, my only wish is not a British manager again. Fingers crossed the next move makes some difference A managers nationality is an irrelevance. We nearly always go for dour, defensive, spoiling managers. It would be nice if we tried someone with modern progressive attacking credentials. Or does the failure of Nathan Jones outweigh the failure of all the dour lot put together. As daft as it sounds this would be the ideal scenario for mad Nath, a young squad managed by a young ambitious coach.

Not quite as obnoxious as Rowett but a credible second as unlikeable manager over the last few years.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a Warnock type appointment until the end of the season. The rapid decline on the pitch must have even shocked the board, I doubt there is anyone that's been lined up as a long term project.

I keep saying it but there are decent footballers in this squad, we just have a dinosaur of a manager with absolutely zero coaching ability and zero tactical, acumen. I think Maee and Bae are talented players but they are being asked to play roles to which they are totally unsuited. The midfield is an absolute shambles and there is no evidence that there has been any meaningful work done on the training pitch in the week.

I genuinely thought Simkin looked really composed and was always well positioned around his area to deal with the hopeful punts from Wednesday. An excellent debut for a young lad that's been overshadowed by the complete shit show by the 10 players in front of him.

From 75 minutes everyone around me was expecting that inevitable winning goal from Wednesday. It wasn't even a shock when it happened. We really are a very shit football team.

I just want someone who likes to play footy on the front foot. I’d love a forward thinking foreign manager but if we’re going English I do quite like Mowbray as he’s good with the youngsters and I think could do well with the players we have. Neil talks a good game but is happy turning out this negative durge every week. If it is a strictly journeyman British manager that we inevitably go for then I agree it could be worse than Mowbray. As much as I dislike him his teams play decent football considering he's such a dour fucker and as you say he does put faith in young players.

Some decent candidates are going to be snapped up due to Coates' unfathomable reluctance to pull the trigger Can you identify them. I can’t see any. Jokanovic.

We are regressing at an alarming rate of knots. I never saw it coming but we are definitely more likely to be relegated than challenging for a play off place. These last few games I've looked to the dug out to try and gain some reassurance that AN is in control and will make tactical adjustments or tactical thought out subs but all I see is is a little bald fella with his hands thrust deep into his tracksuit trouser pockets with a bewildered expression on his face. We're in deep shit as long as this cretin remains the manager.

He's a talented footballer who looks like he doesn't have a clue what his manager is asking him to do. He's an attacking full back who seems to have been told by his manager not to attack. All his best games for Stoke are when he is given licence to push high, this season he's barely crossed the half way line. Yet another decent footballer regressing under this dinosaur of a manager.

No, that task would fall on our assistant manager. Never heard of him? Me neither. Good Heavens! So we do. Martin Canning. He's Alex Neil's old chum from the first year at school isn't he? Somewhere this had all slipped my mind. Canning has been caretaker manager for 4 games previously at two different clubs, needless to say he lost all 4 games.

Watching this Preston side is like watching Stoke. As soon as they look like making progress, the ball keeps going backwards. Playing safe-ball. Things really have changed since the first games of the season. Some on here were fawning at Prestons run, but now they look totally without confidence. Kinda like us! Preston pissed all over us, like Hull City did, like Blackburn did. Yep, that's where we're at.

It's got to the stage where its almost irrelevant which team he starts with due to the system he plays. Until the team are coached to play a quicker more energetic system the results and performances are going to be pretty similar to what we have seen these last four seasons.

Whether AN is sacked or not it won't change our disastrous summer transfer business which saw us sign a supermarket trolley load of players quite unsuitable for the Championship. We are deep in the brown stuff whatever happens next. The worst players tonight were Stevens, Pearson and Clark. All players with huge experience in the top two leagues. The problem is purely and simply the manager, we've got good players but a completely incompetent manager.

Bae, Campbell and Ryan have linked well and look like they could strike a good understanding with a run of games. The defense , Bonham apart, and the two defensive midfield players have been shakey as fuck. QPR are piss poor though.
