From 75 minutes everyone around me was expecting that inevitable winning goal from Wednesday. It wasn't even a shock when it happened. We really are a very shit football team.

I just want someone who likes to play footy on the front foot. I’d love a forward thinking foreign manager but if we’re going English I do quite like Mowbray as he’s good with the youngsters and I think could do well with the players we have. Neil talks a good game but is happy turning out this negative durge every week. If it is a strictly journeyman British manager that we inevitably go for then I agree it could be worse than Mowbray. As much as I dislike him his teams play decent football considering he's such a dour fucker and as you say he does put faith in young players.

Some decent candidates are going to be snapped up due to Coates' unfathomable reluctance to pull the trigger Can you identify them. I can’t see any. Jokanovic.

We are regressing at an alarming rate of knots. I never saw it coming but we are definitely more likely to be relegated than challenging for a play off place. These last few games I've looked to the dug out to try and gain some reassurance that AN is in control and will make tactical adjustments or tactical thought out subs but all I see is is a little bald fella with his hands thrust deep into his tracksuit trouser pockets with a bewildered expression on his face. We're in deep shit as long as this cretin remains the manager.

He's a talented footballer who looks like he doesn't have a clue what his manager is asking him to do. He's an attacking full back who seems to have been told by his manager not to attack. All his best games for Stoke are when he is given licence to push high, this season he's barely crossed the half way line. Yet another decent footballer regressing under this dinosaur of a manager.

No, that task would fall on our assistant manager. Never heard of him? Me neither. Good Heavens! So we do. Martin Canning. He's Alex Neil's old chum from the first year at school isn't he? Somewhere this had all slipped my mind. Canning has been caretaker manager for 4 games previously at two different clubs, needless to say he lost all 4 games.

Watching this Preston side is like watching Stoke. As soon as they look like making progress, the ball keeps going backwards. Playing safe-ball. Things really have changed since the first games of the season. Some on here were fawning at Prestons run, but now they look totally without confidence. Kinda like us! Preston pissed all over us, like Hull City did, like Blackburn did. Yep, that's where we're at.

It's got to the stage where its almost irrelevant which team he starts with due to the system he plays. Until the team are coached to play a quicker more energetic system the results and performances are going to be pretty similar to what we have seen these last four seasons.

Whether AN is sacked or not it won't change our disastrous summer transfer business which saw us sign a supermarket trolley load of players quite unsuitable for the Championship. We are deep in the brown stuff whatever happens next. The worst players tonight were Stevens, Pearson and Clark. All players with huge experience in the top two leagues. The problem is purely and simply the manager, we've got good players but a completely incompetent manager.

Bae, Campbell and Ryan have linked well and look like they could strike a good understanding with a run of games. The defense , Bonham apart, and the two defensive midfield players have been shakey as fuck. QPR are piss poor though.

It would be interesting to see exactly what we did over the international break. Listening to Robins on the radio after the Coventry game he said they would have two weeks solid training with only the weekend in middle off. I’m not sure how much we trained but judging by some of our players instagram posts they were given the majority of the first week off. Coventry won away 3-0 and we put in one of our most insipid performances of the season. Maybe sacrificing time on the training ground for some winter sun wasn’t the best idea. Exactly and this goes to the very heart of the problem. We can argue about individual performances and pick our own preferred starting XI etc but if the manager/coach is not doing the right things or is incapable of improving performances on the training ground then we are obviously going to be watching insipid performances like yesterday. It's not the first time we've been played off the park this season by a well coached, drilled team, Hull City pissed all over us with a well drilled and coached performance. Neil is just incapable of getting the best out of these players and team because he simply just doesn't have the ability.

That today was an absolutely dire performance. Apparantly Neil has watched Blackburn on several occasions this season and yet he is so tactically inept that his team performed so cluelessly. There are good players in this Stoke squad. We just have an incompetent manager who is tactically inept. Blackburn looked like a team that was well coached and drilled on the training ground, we looked a complete shambles. We're going nowhere whilst Neil remains in charge.

Hopefully Dirty Leeds can turn managerless Rotherham over. I really really hope rovrum beat Leeds 10-1. In fact there are very few instances where I'd like to see leeds turn anyone over.

I remember the last commercial flight a Concorde flew into Manchester, that day I was working in Northwich which was on the flight path. People were literally on roofs of office buildings and lining streets looking to the sky as it flew over. A truly amazing aeroplane that captured the imagination of just about everyone.

The Israeli government is a barbaric terrorist organisation; it is only different to Hamas because it has the capability to murder more people. So they're both barbaric terrorist organisations then?

Grealish has been too predictable so far In fairness, apart from Foden, they all have. Apart from the penalty I think Lewis has had a great game.

If Lewis had made that challenge 20 yards out it would have been a free kick, therefore it's a penalty. No it isn't. Unintentional contact that does not in any away interfere with the passage of play isn't a foul Lewis got caught under the ball and then impeded the striker with the forearm strike to the top of his head.

Since we've been in this shit league only two opposition players have caught my eye at Stoke, Johnson and Josh Bowler. If they were any better than good championship players they'd be in the Premier league, they're not, we are where we are. But Ince has played at that level. Johnson hasn’t. It doesn’t matter what we are now. Ince has had the better career and been the better player. I can only comment on what I've watched in the Championship at Stoke. Stoke paid £10m for Ince and all I saw was an absolute coward who hid behind defenders so he couldn't receive a Stoke throw. I compare that to Johnson who always wants the ball and is defending from the front. There is absolutely no comparison between the two players. I'd have 10 Johnsons above 10 Inces any day of the week.

Ince is a coward, never wants the ball and hides on the pitch, Johnson always wants the ball and never hides, he's also had a decent international career. There is absolutely no comparison between the two. There's a reason why Johnsons spent majority of his career plodding about at bang average mid table fodder Preston, it sums the bloke up. He's absolute shit and we should be wanting better if we have any ambition to reach the play offs. I'm not a Ince fan either but at least he can say he's played in the prem. Since we've been in this shit league only two opposition players have caught my eye at Stoke, Johnson and Josh Bowler. If they were any better than good championship players they'd be in the Premier league, they're not, we are where we are.

Johnson's shit, Wilmot's shit, Hoever's shit, Bonham's shit. You don't half talk shit None of those 4 should be starting for us yes. Do you actually think they should? Hoever was shocking today but I'd say he should be starting, Bonham should obviously be starting and I think we're a better side with Johnson starting. So even though I really like Wilmot, he's the one that wouldn't be starting if he was fit.

Shocking that two players who already know how each other play (because they played and trained together last year) are somehow more on the same page 😂 Bayern has given up on booing Bonham for a couple of weeks so now he’s turned to a player injured while playing for Stoke. Wilmot has been crap from the get go here. He brings nothing but panic to the backline. Johnson's shit, Wilmot's shit, Hoever's shit, Bonham's shit. You don't half talk shit
