Yes we have, some of our fans I hate. It’s more on social media.
I saw a tweet from a Stoke fan saying us and Swansea shouldn’t be in this league with these peasants? I’m hoping it’s a wind up account, if not then it’s embarrassing.
That’s the sort of stuff I can’t stand and if it was from a fan of any other club who have just gone down then it’s laughable.

Fuck off Madrid, wankers.
Can’t stand Liverpool either but feel for the keeper. Looks a decent bloke.

I can’t say I’m angry to be honest. It’s been coming for weeks, the draws have just been delaying the inevitable. People spoke a few weeks back about Huddersfield’s run in, Brighton’s run in and wanting Hughes to go down, I couldn’t give a shit about them. I only cared about our run in. Don’t care who goes down or stays up, all I care out is us. I’m not angry because it’s been coming, I’ve got no hate towards Lambert. I simply want the board to fuck off or buck their ideas up big time. But, it doesn’t matter what division we are in, because you don’t support a club for that and also, life goes on. If we were top of the league or bottom, life goes on and we have to get on with it.

He didn’t sack Hughes earlier, that was his only problem. ‘What’s all the fuss about?’ was obviously a way to deflect what was happening as you can tell in the letter he sent a few weeks ago. He pays people to do jobs, Scholes and Cartwright are the ones who want fucking off.

It probably was, but realistically is he going to score? Not really and he used that as an excuse to not try for the rest of the game. Could go all day about decisions or things that didn’t work that could change the game. There was certainly every chance of Shaq scoring from there, he's done it before.... The free-kick by Johnson was just totally bizarre, to put it mildly....when you look at it, non of our players were even ready, and even if they had of been, it was under-hit and never even reached Allen!!! And like I said in a previous post he tried and failed it. In 3 years Shaqs been here he’s scored 1 free kick from what I can remember, vs Hull.

Butland is just a bit of a bell end isn't he. Played well today but after that second half performance these wankers should just suck it up and take any stick that comes their way. What the fuck do they want from us after that shit? I want to know what was actually said, but he pointed to the team and Lambert. Shows something rather than sucking it up

Best fan reaction of the day was for SJW... I found that pretty bizarre tbh. I don’t think it was, Walters was a grafter, passionate and dressing room character. Should never have let him go. Stoke legend and never got a proper send off.

He tried to play it quick, no harm in that. Yes it didn’t work out but get on with it. Shaqiri wasn’t going to put it in the top bin, took him 5 mins get over it. Fucking get on with it He tried to play a ball that was never on, you saw it coming before he even put the ball down, it was a shocking decision, made even worse when you've got Shaq on the pitch, good game or not he's still got a better chance of scoring it than Johnson has of making that pass. Just think it’s a bit of an over reaction. We didn’t win because we are shite, not because of a failed quick free kick. I’m annoyed as anyone else is, but just get on with it.

Everyone needs to get this false hope out of their head that Berahino offers something. Berahino is just not interested in professional football You can't make someone be a footballer if they dont want to be With a real footballer they save their attitude for when they cross the white line at 5 to 3 Berahino is just not wired that way. From 3 till 5 on a saturday afternoon he is as quiet as a mouse Its only when he is well away From the bet 365, that his attitude comes out Went to watch us vs Bury the other month, 3-0 down inside 20 mins and he was gash.

Everyone needs to get this false hope out of their head that Berahino offers something. By It's utterly baffling. Begs the question of how long it sometimes takes for fan's to stop living in denial. 'Lampard and Gerard can't play together' took a decade. 'jack Wilshire won't be Iniesta' took similar for some. 'palacios isn't coming back' took about 2yrs. Would make a good thread, cos I think we've all hung on to hope longer than we should have sometimes. My original was Hoddle for England. My original is hoping that Sammy Bangoura has been found.

Why wouldn’t you renew? If you’re a genuine fan of the club then you’ll go no matter what league we are in. It’s not just the football, it’s the whole routine which makes it far better. Be glad when the day trippers and 08 fans piss off.

Some of the comments on here are baffling. Yes he isn’t playing the best, but he is a Stoke player and if he gets picked to play he isn’t going to say no to please some of the fans. I’m sure if Edwards was fit this week then he would have played, but he wasn’t so we have to make do.
Booing him was disgusting and cringeworthy. No enjoyment going down anymore, mostly because of the performances but also because of some of the fans.

Recently, went to Oldham vs Bury last season. Me and my mate went Manchester for the day then thought fuck it we'll go there. 0-0 and cost me £24 to get in.
Yesterday went to Wales u19 vs Iceland u19 in Rhyl.

We've just booked up Birmingham to Leipzig fri to sun. 50 quid more than Berlin flights but trains are around that (BER-LPZ) plus the logistics of Berlin made flying to Leipzig (via Frankfurt) an easy choice. That's with Lufthansa. Took a chance and booked 2 weeks ago ...£95 return 6 of us booked when RB announced it, return flight to Berlin £58.

Thanks, does that apply to both of the games? You have to buy them for separate games. I tried to buy 3 for the Monday game but payment didn't go through so will have to re try

I'll always appreciate the Icelandic period, Shtaniuk and Hoekstra were a joy to watch and up there with my all time favourite Stoke players.

You scream a modern football fan. RIP Football. Hello franchise. Would you like some popcorn with that? Maybe some Gatorade and your jester hat maybe your half and half scarf? You scream of the modern I'm alright Jack fuck everyone else sort. As ever there needs to be a middle ground. Those that want to sit should be allowed to sit, those that want to stand should be allowed to stand. Maybe unreserved seating is the way forward? If you want to sit, go near the front, if you want to stand go at the back. You can't just dismiss people because they're different. 'Supporters who wish to sit down during the match are advised to request tickets at the front of the stand' Says this every time Stoke release ticket information.

Great thread. I'd always thought of the Stoke End as an open terrace / bank until now. Wondering if 'The Boothen Ends' and 'History of Stoke City' VHS tapes will throw any further light on things. I'll give them another watch at some point.
Oh they're fantastic pictures mate, where did you find them and any ideas on the year?
I swear these photos are from very early days when we were formed? I could be wrong but just thought I had read that somewhere.

I wonder how long it'll be in his interviee said 'move onto the next one'- as if it never happened. How many 4- fucking 0's before someone takes responsibility. It's got to be some sort of record the amount we've acruedl. This season has been a farce. I'm pretty sure we've only lost 4-0 twice this season, both against spurs. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong 4-1 vs Man City and Palace, not 4-0 but still conceded 4.
