9th

I can't be arsed go through every team but we have been lucky and you know it. If we'd have lost today there wouldn't be any positive threads but cause we somehow managed to win all of a sudden we deserve 9th? Not a chance. Some examples are the home wins over Villa, Newcastle, Norwich and even today, we were extremely poor and we were lucky, without Butland and Arnie I reckon anywhere between 14th to 18th this season. Roll on next season. Well if you can't be arsed, I'll tell you who deserved to finish above us: nobody. Whether they deserved to it not... they didn't.That's the end of the conversation really. I deserve to be a millionaire bedding multiple women a night while dining on the best money can buy. But I aren't.

We were 2-1 down in a game we won 2-1?

Would have liked to see some youth on the bench. I believe Allardyce has put some in his team because he said he'll never know if they're any good if they don't play.

I think it means he has the highest sole percentage stake. Like everyone else may have like 10-20% but he has 49.9%.

Curious how Sky will handle it? "Now over at the Emirates" "On to the Etihad" "At Old Trafford" "And now we go live to the bet365" Of course it will be that's the name of the stadium what else would they call it ? They only started calling Upton Park, The Boleyn in the lead up to their final game there to be fair. I didn't mean they won't be able to say it, I just meant it ruins the rhythm. It'll sound odd.

I'm curious how Sky will handle it, it proper ruins the rhythm. I know they have to say bet365 as it's now the name of the stadium. It's just the odd one out.

I know he's a left back and has done a very good job but could he play centre back? We need a left sided CB who we can rely on to stay fit and defend and he's a cracking defender. I'd also like to see a better attacking left back in the side too as I think our full backs hold us back attacking wise. I'd love to see it tried. I'm sure I read he's played CB at some points in his career. Probably just to slot in when needed but I'm sure he has.

I was born in 93 so for a long time the events at Hillsborough were unknown to me but I'm glad that there's finally been a verdict made officially and hopefully the families of those who died can find some peace if they haven't already

I mentioned this on the original injury thread and got ripped apart by some posters.

Mental these injuries are. Is Bachmann the best of the youth? Given out for the season? Have i missed something? Well he came off with a groin injury at half time it may be minor but was just posing a question if theoretically he is out for the rest of the season

I don't think it was stupid. He's been a good player this season but it's been debated a lot whether he's been that useful in certain games especially home ones. The fact of the matter is if he's out till Christmas as someone has posted, probably won't be fully fit until the end of next season due to no pre-season so we'll either let him go after he's gained fitness or give him an extra year when personally I would be hoping we'd have fresh blood in his position His position doesn't need pace, he's been brilliant this season, who else are we going get for free and be better than him? I also think he's better suited to certain games but to write him off and then even say we will give him a contract because we "feel sorry for him" is a absolute joke. The bloke deserves a new contract. My player of the season. Think you've definitely jumped on the defensive for no reason. I never wrote him off, I just questioned whether the same thing that happened to Odemwingie will happen to Afellay. No player deserves a new contract without justifying it in my opinion, if he comes back after Christmas and plays a blinder for the next five months then he will deserve it otherwise the jury is out for me.

Another player who will get an extra year because of his injury then barely touch a ball for us like Odemwingie There's a difference pal. Ibby has been our best player this season. They haven't even scanned it yet so to rule him out completely is just stupid. Mind you, the post from you was stupid anyway. I don't think it was stupid. Another player who will get an extra year because of his injury then barely touch a ball for us like Odemwingie Afellay is far more useful than PO Of course, didn't mean to sound disrespectful just honest. Will he be as useful after his injury? He's already suffered so many. I just don't want us to waste another space and wages on someone if we don't plan on using him.
