We WILL beat West Ham! Positivity!!
By hook or by crook!!
Lets not concede the game before its even kicked off. They aren't Barcelona, they arent even bloody Leicester!
Cmon Stoke, draw a line over the past few weeks. A win on sunday and a very likely 9th place.
And 50 points busted again!

I don't mean to a cynic or gravity crocodile whisperer IN ANY WAY. I think our mid term form deserves 9th, and I'd hate to see us go backwards because I think MH & team deserve better...but I expect a defeat.
However....I'd be delighted at a concerted team effort, liquid football, the holy trinity in full effect, and a great send off for the fans.
Hopeful, but not expectant.

Our mid-term form deserves 4th. It's the beginning and the end that bring it down to 9th-ish

I'll be there with my 12 year old son. He's convinced we're going to wipe the floor with them. Who the hell am I to contradict such pure faith. Gladdens the heart.

I'd agree with you if we had even a semi-decent keeper.
Unfortunately, even if we play really well I still think we'll concede 2 or 3.

Looking on their forums, they are DESPERATE to win this and maybe qualify for Europa
Pretty cocky about it too!!!
Thinking they'll beat us comfortably - rightly going on about poor defence/GK
Im desperate to fuck it up for them, them thinking basically its little old stoke; they aren't so big a club either!
C'mon Stoke - send them hope with a mizzog!!

Thing is when Haugaard is in goal, if the shot is on target - it goes in.
I can see us winning though.

They can finish anywhere 5th to 8th and us 9th to 11th. I think we will go out firing and will beat them 3-1 especially as they will be jaded from the celebrations the other night. Arnie will want to go out on a high and will get a hatrick

Hard to see us not conceding twice so looking at a 3-2 win at least for me if we get 3 points
Have we got 3 goals in us at the moment though??
Diouf hattrick; you heard it here first
Anyway where did I put my tablets.....

We need Ryan back on top form to deal with Carroll to have any chance of getting a result. I would also like Bojan back in the team with Imbula on the bench (controversial?)

Lad is playing well at the moment; on his day, unplayable in the air
Oh well, Geoff will just reach up & swat away any high balls coming in, all day..

if we were stuck in the place we are come what may, then I would say, yes

Who's the ref? We're not going to be helped any by the fact the media want the West Ham leaving Upton Park jizzfest to continue - can you imagine the backlash if A baying Stoke mob had smashed a Man U coach up ?? Unbelievable Jeff....

With the space we give teams and our lacklustre, predictable attacks, we've not got a hope in hell's chance if they continue their form.

As well as they played against United, they were abysmal against Swansea (my Mrs was there) so anything could happen. However, playing our third choice 'keeper is a massive disadvantage. They're playing their second choice and he's arguably as good as Adrian!

I'm coming up from the South West and out of my 6 home games this season I haven't seen us win. My better half is a Hammer so this is important in more than the obvious ways. I had money on it that we would finish above them. That's not going to happen now so a victory is crucial if I'm to hold my head up around the house. I really hope we don't resort to Crouch in this game and Bojan starts. I'm ever so slightly concerned about the 'keeper......

Maybe in a game when we're 10 up at half time and cruising. So not that soon then. Shame.
