Would have liked to see some youth on the bench. I believe Allardyce has put some in his team because he said he'll never know if they're any good if they don't play.

Like the look of that side something a bit different. I'd imagine Geoff's been bought in due to them being a big side.

Good team. Walters has always done well against Cresswell, Carroll not superquick and we need height to defend their set pieces. Glad to see Bojan back and Joselu gives us a mobile focal point. Charlie must feel a bit miffed v Imbula though

Hopefully Shaq will be pissed off at being left out and give us 30 minutes of what he can do...

Very harsh on Philip Bardsley imo but Geoff can do a job there

Pretty happy with that to be honest, Wolly and Shawcross really do need to get some chemistry back because Carroll will dominate us in the air if they don't

For me personally I'd have Shaq for Walters but it's marginal. Good to see Joselu, finally!

Decent team, good to see Walters on the right....would maybe have prefered to stick with Crouch up top though!!!

Dropping Bardsley is harsh in the extreme.

Just highlights what a woeful season Shaqiri has had that Walters is ahead of him for the right wing slot.

I fail to see how their side is better than ours. Confidence will be the biggest difference.
A pity Johnson isn't back. Filter him, Butland and Shaq in at it's a very good side, although I don;t mind Jonny Walters being in there either. With a class striker I think that would be an excellent side.

Dropping Bardsley is harsh in the extreme. Erm. You wouldn't be saying that because your favorite yank is playing instead? Actually I agree with you. Bardsley has been pretty good and more likely to score than Cameron.

Hughes said in his presser on Friday that they may get some game time in Wilko's Testimonial tomorrow (which I must say would be very pointless!)

4-4-2 or 4-4-1-1 with Joselu knocking the ball down to Bojan, Arnie or Walters looks pretty good to me. Get some balls in the box and forget this tippy-tippy nonsense.

He shouldn't have been dropped if Johnson was fit!

That's alright mate, to be honest I'm mostly chuffed to see Bojan playing just behind a big target man. I guess he might bring Shaq on in that role when Bojan gets knackered. I think he'd be better in the middle anyway playing the buzzing around role with Walters out wide
