YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Fantastic team, fantastic club. Above Chelsea. Out of words.
Hopefully, it wont result in us not investing in a fab striker. We need a couple of new players, perhaps 3-4, to improve.

Terrible luck with injuries, and two awful spells, but I think it was a decent season overall. With just a bit of luck it could have been so different.
If we can get Arnie to sign a new deal and sign a few defenders then we should be all set for a cracker next time around.

Perhaps a center back and a central defender as well (what would we do if Imbula gets injured?). Sell 3-5 players.

Finishing 9th with an average of conceding 2 goals per game since January is fucking spectacular to be quite honest.
Replacement for Wolly and Diouf being a regular will get us to Europe next season.

Am I on the same message board as last week? Something seems to of changed?? Oh yes a win and a finish of 9th . We are fickle at times us football supporters and I can at times be one of them , (hands up) . Wasn't so rosey at half time though all was it? Wear your shirts with pride all on your holidays and let's hope for the £20 million pounds 20 goal a season striker turns up during the summer. I'm off now to support my other team ENGLAND!! Have a great summer fellow STOKIES . UTMPs

Great to finish 9th after all the injuries we've had. Said if given in goal we might pinch it but if jakob in we've had it. Not a bad average I've got 3 results right all season, glad todays was. Well done stoke, now for a happy 3 months waiting for next season.

Three successive 9th place isn't to be sniffed at for a club like Stoke..ok things haven't been great recently but too many people want to pretend the top four run of form from late September to January never happened.
Yes we rode our luck today at times and there's still a lot of work needs doing but the second half today showed how ridiculous some of the "next seasons Aston Villa "comments have been.

So after all the huffing and puffing on here, we finish sandwiched between Liverpool and Chelsea, and earn an extra £1.2m thanks to finishing 9th as opposed to 10th. Peanuts by today's standards perhaps, but pays the wages for a week perhaps. The real satisfaction comes from finishing above the Stamford Bridge rabble.

And above Chelski to boot. What a fantastic finish. Strange feeling all come over I'm not familiar with. I went, Win Win Draw for the last three. What the fuck do I know. Finish with a fight back like that, just bloody brilliant. Note to self. Listen to your offspring more often. He's 12 and spot on with that one. A good day at the office.

Mixed emotions to be honest. If you had offered me 3 top 10 finishes on the bounce which, for me, means we are an established prem team, on the bounce after Pulis left and everyone was tipping us to go down, I would have bitten your hand off. However, This was the season to really push on in the league and possibly win something. OK, we were unlucky in the league cup, but have we pushed on this year? the answer is, and has to be NO, considering the acheivments of Wet Sham and Soton, never mind Leicester.

Lets be honest, not trying put a negative spin on this but going off the performances this season we don't deserve 9th, it's been such a poor poor league this season though. We've played well on about half a dozen occasions, even first half today West Ham should have had 3 or 4 at least and been out of sight. Yes we've had bad injuries but so have other clubs. It's a miracle we've finished 9th, it really is.

We have had at least three times the injuries that Leicester have had, FACT. Really happy with today, the way we fought back when I thought we were going to be well stuffed and finishing 9th, above Chelsea, giving the Wet Sham fans some abuse, cracking day all round for me and happy with the top ten finish. Also the question I have is if every team pushes on then we all win the Prem, how is this possible? The right signings and less injuries next season will see us alright.

I can't be arsed go through every team but we have been lucky and you know it. If we'd have lost today there wouldn't be any positive threads but cause we somehow managed to win all of a sudden we deserve 9th? Not a chance. Some examples are the home wins over Villa, Newcastle, Norwich and even today, we were extremely poor and we were lucky, without Butland and Arnie I reckon anywhere between 14th to 18th this season. Roll on next season.
