Try the Michelin lot. We went by on spec before the Villa game and to our surprise, they let us park there for free. Apparently this will be an ongoing thing this season as long as you can be back to your car before 5:30 when they lock the gate.

It has already been reported on here that Villa are not interested but I have just been reading the Villa board today and they are certain that MON is definitely not interested. Looks like it is between us and Blackburn.
BTW, they pointed to this report from the BBC as proof.
O'Neill denies interest in Zigic Valencia's Zigic is definitely not on Martin O'Neill's wish-list Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill has denied he is interested in signing Valencia striker Nikola Zigic.
The Serbian international was linked with a move to Villa Park by Valencia's sporting director Juan Sanchez.
But O'Neill told the club's official website: "There's not a grain of truth in the story that we've put in an offer for the player.
"I don't know where it's coming from and I don't even know who the player's agent is."
Speculation has been rife in national and local media that the 6ft 7in striker was a Villa target who would be brought in to compete with another former Valencia star, John Carew, but O'Neill is adamant it will not be happening.
"I wouldn't normally comment but there have been so many stories claiming this as fact and people have been quoted," he added.
"They're completely wide of the mark so I felt I had to put the record straight."

Peter is a class act and one of my all time favourites!
I several years ago I met him and Clive Clarke at Manchester Airport. They were on their way to the Caribbean to meet up with Lightbulb. You could not meet two nicer guys.
Anyway, I had my wife with me who is a Huddersfield Town season ticket holder and at that point we were still in the same division. Before saying goodbye, I asked Peter no matter what, do not let Huddersfield beat us or I would never here the end of it. He smiled and said, sure no probs, I’ll make sure of it!
Well move forward a few months and we were down 1-0 at the Britt before old Peter popped up in the last few minutes to spoil the Huddersfield party and save my blushes. The trip back to Huddersfield with my wife’s family in the car would have been unbearable if not for old Pete fulfilling his promise.
He has been a legend in my eyes ever since!

ON LOAN WITH A VIEW TO BUY
Stoke still favourites to sign Valencia's Zigic Friday 08 August 2008 - 11:40:15 - Click to post or view
Last week it was (wrongly) reported that Nikola Zigic had made his mind up to join Stoke after turning down a move to Turkish giants Galatasary because his desire was to move to the Premiership.
It is being reported from Spain that his agent is coming to England today to discuss a possible move, but he doesn't say which club is interested.
Other than Stoke, who are still thought to be favourites according to most reports today, Sunderland are also interested in the massive striker.
Valencia's Sports director Fernando Gomez said: "We are waiting to know the details and will decide afterwards."
It is thought that Stoke are looking for a loan deal with an option to buy, but Valencia would like a straight cash sale.

To be honest, I am bricking it and am a little disappointed.
Even if we brought in a whole slew of top players this week, they will have had no pre season together with their new teammates to gel. For all intensive purposes we will have almost an entirely new team who have never played together before. So much for the head start we were supposed to have on Hull.
At the end of the day, I do think TP will bring in the quality and the numbers (he may leave it as late as the next window) but I fear it might be too late.

'not been officially approached by Stoke City' is the key - old Tone is obviously considering him!

L'Equipe translation:
The defensive middle of Sochaux, Guiranne NDaw, would be close to get involved with the English club of Stoke City, promoted in Premier League. The international Senegalese, 24 years, competed for 30 matches of L1 this season and inscribed three purposes. It acquired a check of exit on behalf of his leaders. - E. T.

One has never liked toffee nosed twats who pretend to be something they are not and then generalise. I bet you have 10 children and live down the council estate!
Being an Anglo American, I have sympathies for both countries. I am not a fan of Bush or a lot of other things about America (and I deplore such animal cruelty) but please be balanced before shooting ones moth off - there are twats here and twats there.

Chirper - I just about understood what you were going on about there - I had better keep practising the Yorkshire dialect.
Even though my wife is a Yorkshire lass, I was actually born and raised in California, USA. My link to Stoke you ask? Well both my parents are from Newcastle-under-Lyme and my dad who is now 74, grew up on the old Boothen end shouting on Sir Stan in Stoke's heyday.
Whenever we visited on holiday from the States though, he always took me to a Stoke game and it stuck!

I thought it was a pen but not stone wall. The ref was put under a lot of pressure by the Wednesday fans after the calls to send Dicko off.

I was sitting with the Wednesday supporters and was only a few rows back. It was late but not too nasty (I would not have sent him). I was very worried though given the previous tackles by Shola (Wednesday crowd were going berserk) and the recent crackdown on such tackles.

My thoughts.....
Shola a threat strong and kept the ball well but looked slow to turn.
Pearson – an excellent start energetic & skilful. Cresswell missed several sitters and should have had us 3-4 by half time.
We moved the ball around beautiful ly and could have passed West Brazil off the park but it all changed.
2nd half started off well and Shola had a few chances but once again seemed hesitant to shoot.
Rather then Pulis, I think it was the players who bottled it on this occasion. Griffin in particular was awful and kept either over running the ball or kept kicking/heading it right back to Wednesday! I would give Griff only a 3 today – he really blew it!
If Ric had had played – he would have taken their defence apart. Wednesday looked like a 2nd division outfit! I am optimistic going forward though if Tony has the courage to play Ric & Shola together

4PM UPDATE: SIDIBE INJURY WORRY FOR PULIS Be the first reader to comment on this story
TONY Pulis's efforts to sign Newcastle striker Shola Ameobi this afternoon were bolstered by doubts over Mama Sidibe?s availability for Saturday's trip to struggling Sheffield Wednesday.
Sidibe is nursing a strained hamstring and Pulis admitted today: "He won't train today or tomorrow."
He added: "I thought he was one of our best players against Blackpool last weekend. And when we played at Watford you saw how much we missed him, especially when playing the ball back to front and trying to get players up the pitch."
With Salif Diao out and Leon Cort doubtful, Pulis added: "We've got to compensate somehow. It's very important that the players who are asked to perform do so to the best of their ability.
"This is where we get the niggles and everything else, so the back-up is very important." Stoke have requested a further 1,200 tickets for Saturday's game at Hillsborough after selling their initial allocation of 2,500.
Stoke fans making their own way to Hillsborough are urged to exit the M1 at junctions 33 or 34, not 35 or 36, because of long-term roadworks caused by last summer's floods.
