I don't think many are saying to give him another season. I think it's obvious be will get another session whatever we think. 12k attendances next season? we will lose some younger fans permanently if there's another season of that shite - raised on 10 seasons on the PL and now this garbage The ground looked embarrassingly empty again today 🤦‍♂️. I can't blame people tho. This is shit and times are pretty difficult financially.

Slaven bilic I'd take today ready for next season, that was dire in a massive game, not good enough. The problem o Neill has now is to motivate them for the remainder of the season with nothing to play for

EDIT
Get him gone. It took 20 mins to realise we needed to match their shape to win this one.
Half time
Hook JPB and put Smith on. Wilmot to make 3 centre halfs. Tymon and Smith Wing backs.
Allen, Baker and Powell midfield.
Campbell and Maja up top.
Or
MoN do fuck all and give them the game

I'd give him another season for all the reasons more eloquently laid out by others. Tonight was an absolute disaster. But .... one game does not change the direction I'd be moving. However, to answer OP's question, there are some excellent shout-outs mentioned already. Given the owners' penchant for UK managers, I'd go with Rooney. Shown determination, stick-to-itiveness and would have Derby safe on limited resources if not for the points deductions.

Rooney and Robins are the two semi-realistic options who stand out - but not sure we could attract Robins.
Not sure if MON is under real pressure - but if we don't end the season very well, he bloody well should be.

A massive game tonight and we looked totally disorganised and disinterested. He has to go.

Get a continental manager for once !! We’ve been all around the UK three times over !! That is never going to happen as long as Coates Snr has any say on the matter.

We've missed out on Wilder and Bruce because the board think MoN is good enough.
Whilst John Coates is in charge we'll go nowhere.

In what world would he leave Forrest for Stoke. They’re a bigger club and doing better than us. Be realistic.

No world at all but when he was out of a job he would have been pooing with an oatcake in his gob as quick as you could find a new lens for your camera, out of work right now? Ode take Mark Hughes as a last resort this squad is made for him.

Lee Johnson? Can’t use sunderland as a measure because they are a basket case of a club - done well before hand so well with these players

He got WBA promoted but only by the skin of their teeth - their 2nd half of season form was quite poor.

Still a good track record despite his spell at Ipswich I was massively in favour of Cook, so I'm surprised his spell at Ipswich went so badly. He nearly performed a miracle keeping Wigan up.
