Let’s hope Oz get knocked out soon as a good run would surely mean he’d miss the start of the season

It’s ok not our problem......Burnley want him according to their local press. Now that would funny. Imagine Collins and Souttar in the heart of a Burnley defence together tearing it up to the point that after twelve months one of the biggest clubs in the world sees a ready made pairing and then buys them both for a combined £250m. Reckon Scholes could be in for some grief.😂😂

Starting for Australia against Argentina at the Olympics

Starting for Australia against Argentina at the Olympics Be interesting to see how he copes. Most of his games for Australia so far have been WC qualifiers against some pretty low standard countries. The Argentinian youngsters will pose a much sterner test. Hope he does well - and if he can continue his goal scoring record for Australia - even better! EDIT: Oz won 2-0 - shows how little I know about the game! Well done Harry and Oz. Looks like Oz may make the knock out stages = good for Harry but not so good for Stoke.

All being well, I can't wait to see Vrančić pop crosses straight onto Souttar's head. He'll be a bigger goal machine for Stoke than he is for Australia!

I reckon good for us, at worst he'll miss 1 or 2 games if they get to the final, but he's going to be more up to speed than some of our lads who haven't played competitively, and he'll be absolutely buzzing too. Goarnnnn Aus and Harry!

That'll be a test. I recognise the name of every Spanish player there and only Souttar for the Aussies. Pedri and Olmo looked great at the euros.

Lost 1-0 Next game is Egypt who you would fancy to beat although they held Spain 0-0. Still looking likely to qualify for knockout games

Not sure they could afford him?

Just speculation from some one suggesting who they should buy, but I’m not sure Celtic could afford him anyway.

I really hope we won't let Souttar go for less than Collins went for! £12M + add ons and 20% of further sales! I really hope he stays though as he will be a PL player in a season or two, hopefully for Stoke!

Just speculation from some one suggesting who they should buy, but I’m not sure Celtic could afford him anyway. They just sold Ajer to Brentford for £13M+ so I think they can if they really want to.

Just speculation from some one suggesting who they should buy, but I’m not sure Celtic could afford him anyway. I don’t see this happening. We’d have to want more than 12 million for him, given that he was the leading Championship defender last year on a breakthrough season. Similarly, I’d be surprised if he thinks that a move to Celtic now would be his best option when he’s just seen the relatively unproven Collins move to the Premier League.

Celtic probably could pay him more, I was going to say Champions League football but that’s unlikely, every game ( admittedly in a poor league) is a game where the opposition want your scalp; the only thing being I’m struggling to think of anyone who started in one of the top two English divisions, went to Scotland, and the made a successful return to English football? I’m sure someone can enlighten me?

I just think that the Scottish teams rarely get raided by big Premier League teams. I personally see Souttar ending up at a team like Villa or Newcastle, or even Leeds if they stay up.

Brighton could be an option too with White going to Arsenal for a reported £50m. We’d probably let him go for a max of £20m leaving them £30m up overall.

However, 20 million would be a hard offer to refuse!
