Hmmmm... naah! For me those 3 weren't on the same level that season, sorry Hackett! Also I think the number of league starts tells who contributed the most to us going up; Lawrence 40 Shawcross 39 Fuller 39 Griffin 15 Whelan 13 Diao 8 Depends what you mean by same level. They may not have played the amount of games but without them we wouldn't have got promoted. Based on your logic, Beattie and Etherington weren't star players in our first season after being promoted.

Coventry away would be a good example from that season of who our stars were at that time. We should have been 4-0 down in that first half. Thankfully it was only one nil.
After we brought on Shawcross and Lawrence though, the game totally changed. We dominated and won two one. They were just different gravy.
All about opinions though to be fair, and I wouldn't deny you yours. 👍

In fairness, they're not looking. This is just a bored local journo filling space on a slow news day. It's interesting, though, that Nathan was name-checked by Stephen Kenny a few days ago. We can expect him to get the call up for that ten-day camp during the Summer, and be very much in the mix for the next round of qualifiers.
PS You do realise, Mr. Ball, that most people won't have a clue what "liathroid" means?

£15M + add ons up to £25M and I'd let him go. I'm probably one of the few who rates Souttar even higher.

We don’t need to let anyone leave if FFP is scrapped.

We don’t need to let anyone leave if FFP is scrapped. If we can keep Harry, Nathan and Tyrese for another season the price will only go up so I really wish we won't have to sell to keep afloat!

If the FFP is scrapped, Denise could pay for the day-to-day running of the club with whatever she finds down the back of her sofa.

If Liverpool make an offer, the player will almost certainly want to leave. It won't matter if FFP is scrapped or not.

Stick.
We should be prepared to sell one of Bursik, Campbell, Collins and Soutar only if we're forced to raise money under FFP.

£9m? Lmao, that's a straight swap for Vokes.
Open negotiations at £9m plus another £20m, plus pay vokes' contract off, plus a 10% of profit sell on clause.. failing that simply tell them to run and jump

Anything over 12m plus Vydra would be a good deal These deals really don't happen. We can't afford vydra's wages... Nowhere near. I think we will accept 10m+ to be honest if it's even true- he's out with a long term injury, other clubs don't buy injured players, only stoke.

You have to imagine anything approaching £15m with a decent sell on fee and we would accept unfortunately.
Hopefully we could reinvest that wisely for once.
Although ideally we keep him and build the defence around him and Souttar next season.

15 million is the starting bid for me. Anything less should be laughed out of hand.
Oh, and we want the money back for Vokes too.
Cheeky bastards.

Vydra is starting in the Prem for them I thought this also. Why would he want to come, and why would they get rid. He’s not played every week, but he is playing. He’s also not in form, so why would we want him? I’m tired of Stoke trying to get out of form attackers and reshape them.

Him and Campbell are the only players I’m bothered about keeping. I rate Souttar higher than Collins, but everyone are entitled to their own opinion. I really struggle to see us reject a bid like £12M + add-ons up to £15M based on games and success. We also should get 20% of any fee over what we get when they sell him. £12M up front £1M for his first 25 games for the club £1M for his next 25 games for the club £1M for his first senior cap for the national team 20% of everything above what we get when they sell him to a bigger club
