That was a very very bad result for them yesterday , could be a very tricky season for them They had plenty of chances in that game, but agree, it wasn’t a good start and on paper that’s a real 6 pointer even if it was the first day of the season. It’s funny they still play 4-4-fucking-2, Dyche really is old school.

Yes I agree, im not moaning, I think its good business, whether its required, and its what teams like Brentford do, yet when we do similar business, and replace accordingly with someone of a similar quality on paper, i don't see why so many people are up in arms, yet cry out that we don't do any good business, which on the face of it seems to be Brentford scouting and recruitment is 50 times better than ours, thats where the issue lies. I wouldn't trust anyone at stoke to pick a gem up, we have no previous. You were saying........?

I think that could be the case for large parts of this season if they continue to play 4 at the back, he could be another Ben Gibson if Mee or Tarkowski stay fit……

It was undoubtedly a good piece of business dnd the catalyst to the rebuild and out current improved situation. Good piece of business for us with the players it has enabled us to bring in, I don’t think it’s a good move for Collins though, He’d be better off playing for us every week under MON than sitting on the bench for a team playing very old school tactics under Dyche.

You might be waiting a while jimigoodwinsbeard only posts when we lose, posts when we loseee! Fair play, the signings have been decent. The most anazing thing is MoN may have actually changed his mindset as well. And to say I only post when we lose is just bollox.

I don't think that he has. I just think that he has enough sense not to try and play this kind of football with what he had available to him after christmas last season. Bayern thinks that he should have but makes no allowance for the big improvement in Smith, Tymon ,Thompson etc. plus our new signings.

I've seen Bayern say we had 8/11 first team players last season but I think he miscounted because we obviously had the wrong Jacob Brown.

Hard to really gauge how hes playing as both sides aren't really doing anything 😂 Lots of long balls from Burnley, even got to see a signature Pieters cross finding a fan in the stands 😂

Has he had a penno by any chance No did not take one. Burnley's only shots on goal in the penalty shoot out but they won.

Has he had a penno by any chance Didn't take one. It was the forwards plus Brownhill and Charlie Taylor.

Collins played alright, showed his inexperience at one point that led to the biggest chance of the game and should have been a goal but for a class save from Henessey. He stepped up into midfield to win a header but missed and left his team in a 3v3. Looked and played nervous. Can't comment on much else really
