What's happening now then? is that it? 3 other offers to consider and the EFL to approve before they are put to that knobhead to accept one was the last I heard about 40 mins ago.

If both Clubs are saved in some way, then its only a matter of time before the next club in crisis comes to the fore The sad thing is maybe the only way forward no is for a club to go out of business & actually take a better look at football in general. From the Football League, to the owners, to the "money" coming in from Sky, the whole business of football in general in this country stinks to high heaven (and yup, when we look at ourselves we are included) We must be the only country in the world to have 92 professional clubs in our leagues with numerous pro/semi in non league. Unsustainable I would suggest that it is sustainable, and, something for the country to actually be proud of. Football is everywhere.

Just been expelled from the league😢 What happens to them now? If they've no owners, no players, no ground, how do they manage to operate in non league football? What happens to ground and training ground? Presumably they have no access to either and both will be sold to pay off creditors?

Horrific.
The FA needs a complete restructuring from top to bottom, how on Earth has it been allowed to reach this point?
Gutted, absolutely gutted.

Sold to pay off the creditors one of which is now his daughters partner having bought up the debt on the cheap 👀 legal under the law but surely the EFL should have stopped that. They were the key vote to wind up the club.

Dear oh dear.
Not looking forward to work tomorrow. My mate will be on the floor. He looked today like he hadn't slept for a month as it was.
Bloody hell fire.

As much as I can’t stand my own club at the moment, the thought of it not being there makes me feel physically sick.
Hopefully they emerge and fight again, to allow over 100 YEARS of history to be just deleted like a spam E-mail is disgraceful.
Steve Dale, get hit by a lorry, you utter fucking cunt.

Terrible news - so sorry for the Bury fans. It's a disgrace that it's come to this, particularly when you think of all the money sloshing around in the Premier League. Bolton could be next and then who knows how many others could follow and go bust.
The money in the game needs redistributing a bit more fairly if the remaining clubs are to survive.
Hopefully Bury FC will resurface in some guise in the near future.

They'd probably have to have a slight name change AFC Bury, Bury Town or similar.

If they follow Maidstones example they can eventually reform and movw up the league from the bottom of pyramid. Its not really the same club though and a totally new business. 145 years of history up in smoke.

I believe Maidstone Utd were reborn again as Maidstone Utd. So no reason why the name of Bury FC can't live on. I don't even know what league they would have to start out again. Hopefully someone can at least buy the ground to secure it's immediate future in whatever league that may be. So sorry to all genuine Bury fans.
