We talk about who we should definitely keep and who we should sell. Personally I don't care either way. Just give me a side who I can enjoy watching.

I’d love to find that thread when we signed the elderly Odimwingie and the daft cunts who slated that transfer Thank fuck we backed out of that transfer as he would offer nothing I don't recall many having a problem when we signed him. He still had pace and knew where the back of the net was. Most were pleased as it meant we could get rid of the lazy fucker Jones.

Butland, Vokes and apparently MCClean how many do we need in a 22 man squad ? Butland who is leaving and McClean, in the news every week with a narrow minded comment on anything Ireland related. Great role model! Where is Butland going to ?, I agree about MCClean just reiterating what I keep getting told by the so called experts on here.

To quote one of the posts in that thread: "Hackett on the pulse again". I didn't comment about Odemwingie on there, so you can't have me for that. I was having a go at Nixon as usual ;-)

Well they were wrong, and most were happy to get rid of Jones. I don't see how this is really relevant, the similarities to Odemwingie who was still an international player and friggin Stephen Ward are non existent.

So the oatcake MB who wanted Pieters fucked off are now wanting him back Jeez Because we need up and coming players with re-sale value, not someone pushing 34

As back up fantastic. We are building a squad of leaders, battlers with a touch of flair. Stoke will not look at all the same next season.. it's actually really exciting! Who's your dealer, mate? 😎

Another thing that is doing me head in is whenever we sign someone who more than likely isn’t that great at football, he automatically becomes a leader, a model pro who is good for the dressing room. Says fucking who? Ward could be an absolute bellend for all we know

Didnt the club learn through fletcher that old is not the way to go.
I honestly cant understand this at all. Keep Pieters if youre just going to down this route. It does not make sense.
What I will say though is holebas for watford is a very good, agile left back and hes 36 which was a shock so Ward might still have the legs yet.
However would he arguably be any better in the role than Pieters?
It flies in the face of everything the club, nathan jones has said about their full backs

He's nothing more than a back-up, surely?! But yeah, even as a back-up, there's no comparing JJ with this fella. We need pace. We need somebody willing to overlap everytime we go forward. God help us when the injuries hit us. You've got to hope so haven't you? There's no hope needed, its pretty bloody obvious he won't be coming in as first choice, we always needed two left backs and if he's happy to wait for a chance then I don't see the problem.

I've been trying to recommend it to my fellow Stokies but they're too busy pissing their underwear than to accept help
