I can see why he would be dissatisfied there! He was never good enough for us let alone Liverpool 🤦‍♂️ Absolute nonsense. I’m taking the piss, flower....

Speaking to a few Liverpool fans, they absolutely love him. I have to admit, I was frustrated with Shaqiri, at times when he was here. Sometimes, he didn't seem to put in the effort, and his corners were shite. But watching him at Liverpool, with better players, shows him in a much better light. He doesn't look out of place at all, and in fact looked one of their better players against Fulham. It might be years before we get another Shaq or Arnie. Both had their faults, but I would have them back tomorrow.

Sometimes individual flair stands out and can create moments of brilloance, but by large, a team wins matches.. Playing with such poor players at Stoke was always going to make Shaq look bad. Now he's with a higher quality set of players he's shining again.

For all the shit Shaq used to get. I can't think of another player who seemingly wanted to keep us up as much as he did.
That goes for the apparently loyal seasoned pros at the club as well.
Was he perfect? No of course not and neither was Arnie but since we lost both of them we haven't got a single player with any cutting edge.
That Shaq and Arnie display at home against Man City will sadly never be seen again at Stoke.

You don’t appreciate how good he was until you see him with better players.
He must have been so frustrated at times playing for us.
Oh and look what happens when you play him centrally so he can pick up scraps on the edge of the box.

He's a class act. Privilege to see him in the red and white stripes. He provided many of our highlights along with Arnie in the last 3 years. Unlikely to see that quality of player again at scfc.

I agree. And I know it's not a popular choice but he's better than Arnie in my opinion. Still love him, and I'm happy he's doing so well.

Great player.
Good on him as well for the goals.
I always get really confused when some of our fans said he was lazy and shite.

He gave everything for us and I’m really pleased for him
He’s top quality and we shouldn’t begrudge him his move

The beginning of the end was not paying Arnie what he was worth and the rest is embarrassing history. H

What a fucking useless none tracking back wanker Fuck you Hughes buying shit like this! H To think hughes team beat Liverpool 6-1 . Without him , Look at the trajectory of the teams since then and it’s a truly horrendous reflection. On our off field leadership hes a fantastic asset for them unbelievable value too , which is even more frustrating, we are about to write as big a cheque for afoebe and half that value for woods both staggering when you consider their pedigrees and ability to turn a game .

Let's get a grip on this. Shaq ain't fit to lace Arnie's boots. Imagine Arnie in a free flowing top 6 side. Shaq scored 2 deflected goals ! Simply put, had we sold Shaq instead of Arnie we would still be a premiership side.

Simply put, had we sold Shaq instead of Arnie we would still be a premiership side. So, please explain why Arnie is plying his trade for a mediocre premier league team and Shaq looks to be in with a good shot of picking up a league winners medal. Let's be clear. Both are cracking players. They could each lace each other's laces.
