Looks like he's loving the place. Congratulations on yet another goal, Shaq. Missing this guy so much, when I look at the current squad it bores me to tears. Full of also rans and absolute rubbish footballers. If they weren't pulling in such good wages, i'd imagine half of them would walk off as they must be embaressed when they watch themselves back on TV (if they can find it nowadays on Quest). I really wish I wasn't brought up a stoke fan, I've supported them since the early 1980s and was satisfied enough because I didn't know any better, since we've had 10 years in the limelight, the current depression is awful. I think I'll be bringing my son up to support a bigger club - otherwise he won't know the joys of watching big players play in the WC, or his club play in the champs league and instead will have to be satisfied with the JP trophy or whatever it's called, and regular tuesday night games against scunthorpe. :@ thanks Coates for creating a "legacy" Crikey that a worry.

Anyone slagging off Shaq is an idiot.
Single handedly kept us somewhere near last year and now we have Ince and Mcpotatohead to replace him.
He scored a peach of a goal today and will play plenty as the season progresses.
Wish him all the luck in the world personally.

That City game was great example of just good football. It wasn't that competitve because City are just too good, but some of the play was mesmerising.
Anyway, I've had a good think and I'm going to start taking a tepid interest in Spurs. They've got a great new ground coming, so should be a great place to visit, they're full of England stars so it'll ignite a flame for the internationals, and I quite like Poch.
In all seriousness, half and half footy shirts would be a great independent idea... They have the scarves, why not the tops?!
Would raise a dilemma if we ever play each other but that's a way off yet!

You say you were brought up as a Stoke fan, so pass that onto your son. Life is not a bowl of cherries unfortuately and by bringing him up to support a so called bigger club, you will be teaching him to expect instant results in all areas of life with no effort required. Well life isn't like that, me i prefer steadfast loyalty and graft, even when the going gets tough. Too many of today's youngsters want everything now, We see it in our graduate trainees at work who seem to think they should be MD within three months of joining. So keep the faith, keep supporting Stoke and when you experience the sometimes isolated highs they will feel so much sweeter. Don't become a plastic Manc or Scouser, or even a Landanerr supporting Spurs. You will simply be buying into a brand and that is not what football should be about.

He doesn't look dissatisfied these days. On the contrary. He preens like a peacock. And struts like a dog with two dicks.

Took his goal very well and his technique made it look easy.
Now, imagine the scenario.......βand the cross has come over to Diouf who is unmarked....β.
Iβll leave you to fill in the rest.ππππ
