Calling some fans "uneducated cavemen" didn't help his 'cause'. He is right though

How is it ? so its ok to dish the dirt and scream abuse at him but when he gives it back there are floods of tears because he called some fans cavemen and trust me there are a few who came before the cavemen.

I couldn't care less about anything he's said.
I just wasn't him to go and join Burnley.I just want what is best for him. 😉

Calling some fans "uneducated cavemen" didn't help his 'cause'. I think it was unwise. He would have been better to keep his own counsel. But let's remember the context. This was some of our own supporters booing him actually during a game over a non-football matter How does that help the team ? And I do think that if you are prepared to hand out personal abuse, you can't be too precious about getting something back. In footballing terms, I think on form he is a good championship player. His form for us has been mixed, and he's certainly not alone in that. At least he is prepared to run directly at defences, and there have been times this season when we have been crying out for that. He made both goals at Villa for example. Just because he was a Rowett signing doesn't mean he can't continue to do a job for us.

I bet he is a bit nervous tonight!
No golden boy protection and certainly part of Rowetts demise!
If only Rowett had thought about it, certainly hasn't helped and certainly he has got to start performing!

As Sir Denis said only today on the radio, it's a one way street, the fans pay their money and are entitled to their opinion, he was talking about managers but the same principle applies. What good did it do for the people that pay his wages? Or anyone else?

If you dish it out then be prepared to take it back .and yes we are entitled to our opinions but Mclean is entitled to respond to abuse thrown at him that day its a free country also he made a point of directing it at certain fans and made it clear it was not directed at all stoke fans . Anyway its past now lets just hope the new Guy can get them all playing to there ability ,lets face it you dont play for prem league teams if you that shit .
