If we're looking for SINGLE reasons then he did cost us vital points at vital times, there were a mountain of other reasons too though. The stupid pass back The double penalty miss The silly red card.
There's 9 points in 3 games.
Any more for any more?
Don't go quoting facts on here , the red tinted brigade won't like it. For me Charlie plays like an angry man, tries to make up for lack of ability with aggression. Scored a couple of memorable goals but marred his time with us for me with poor fitness, pathetic tackles and a big gob on other players (his teammates) which he only uses in the media. That alone would want me to get rid as united teams win games not back stabbing ones. Hope you learn to curb the aggression Charlie and show more of the ability. Good luck.

Sad to say he will be leaving under a bit of a cloud. Did not need to be that way.

He thinks the club owe him something and not the other way round. He may not have told Delph directly to not sign but he publicly urged him to stay at City and fight for his place. Also seemed overly happy when Lee Grant left, I think he sees in general that players are doing Stoke City a favour by being at the club.

'Fact' means something that actually happened and all three of those incidents did happen. Even though I found it hard to believe my eyes at the time. So either admit that they are facts or live in a fantasy world, your choice. Oh by the way we did get relegated. It's a fact.

The missed rebound was plain embarrassing and it shouldn't even have come to be another peno, he had to bury it. The red was correct. Those two incidents sum him up for me. Unfit and stupid. Agree unfit and stupid but he defo does not deserve the shit he is getting ,there where more good matches then bad . Defo not a red though In a must win game, why even make the referee make a decision. Stupid, rash, and pathetic.

I think we all know what would have happened if the 'sending off' incident had happened the other way around. We would have got a free kick and 'Wayne' would have received a playful tap on the bottom and a polite reminder to stay on his feet in the future. In their eagerness to crucify Adam, Stoke fans let that cheating bastard Rooney off with a free pass for his antics in the incident.

His attitude is questionable, which is a touch ironic given the shite he comes out with.

Make a change instead of the pathetic whimper that our players had last season . Needed to let teams know we were not there just to swap shirts at the end of a drubbing, nobody stood and got counted.

Pass the blame I thought it was a harsh sending off an Rooney was barely touched. Didn't really see it well at the game but when I saw the anti Adam feeling on here on the way back, I expected an absolute savage tackle. When I first saw it on the tele, I thought I must have been an earlier incident and this wasn't the sending off at all. I 100% stand my belief that Martin wouldn't have sent off Wayne if the roles were reversed. You know it I know it, Martin knows it, everyone knows it!

Good signing and gave his all every time he pulled on the shirt. If anyone can provide me with stats that he ran less than any other PL player then I'll bow to your opinion that he was unfit and lazy. BUT I will never ever forget that fucking goal against Chelsea. Wow. Amazing strike
Was there that day with my lad We had to go back in the concourse to watch it all again--- and again
If not for Bego fooking up we would have taken something from that game which makes it all the more galling why Hughes threw it last Year !
Courtois was more like Tourtoise that day ----

The other thing about Adam, he was a dirty sod. Those challenges on Bale back in the day for Blackpool. Premeditated and nasty.

Good luck to the guy. I quite liked him. He was past his best, but he gave his best. He tried a little too hard perhaps but I don’t know why people thing his leaving is like a new signing. I quite liked him too until last season when he cost us at least 6 points and I witnessed first hand his negative influence on the team. He talked an England international into not joining Stoke and I saw him goofing off in the warm up against Man City. He was tooling around right in front of me, ignoring the coach and disrupting the others, and guess who was in his group warming up - you guessed it - Saido Berahino. We don’t need this useless, lazy, disruptive Scots git.

To be pedantic we did get a point v Brighton so it's 8 points not 9😀 I don’t think the stupid back pass ( I assume Gifty is referring to Leicester away) cost anything either. There is no saying that we would have beaten Everton with 11 men as we had to wait until the last game of the season to beat anybody! Jack must be close to 9 points if you count the own goal at Leicester and his refusal to catch any ball that was more than 2 feet of his goal line.

We were by far the better team and in total control before he had that minute of madness.
What about his 15 minute cameo at Leicester? This isn't trolling, this is hard facts my friend.
I witnessed it, and so did 28000 others.
Sheer madness from an overweight, out of touch clogger.
