So you rate Wilson, Cameron, Muniesa and wolfy as better CB's than Robert Huth, surprising that he decided to keep Wilson especially ahead of Huth, he certainly did not sign a better CB when he signed Wolfy as a replacement, I still do not rate him despite the improvement this season compared to when he was on loan with us he was awful and ending up getting dropped. Once again you are trying to impose your opinion on me as though you are the font of all knowledge. If that is not enough you then go on to try and tell people what my opinions are! The questions about Robert Huth will never be answered. I tend to just look at the facts of the matter. They are:- Huth earned the right to be a Stoke hero under Tony Pulis Huth had a long term injury that kept him out of the team. This injury coincided with a period of Renaissance under a new manager who wanted to change our style of play radically. In Huth's absence Hughes signed Wollsheid and Muniesa. Huth struggled to achieve a level of fitness demanded to get back in the team. Huth became frustrated and wanted first team football. Hughes decided in fairness to Huth to let him go because he had decided that Wollsheid, Wilson and Muniesa had better skills on the ball which better suited the way he wanted Stoke to play. (Hughes at this time could not possibly have foreseen the horrid run of injuries we would experience especially with Shawcross.) Stoke are going to perhaps have their best ever season in the Premiership. This is being achieved without Shawcross or Huth in the team. We would have welcomed having Huth available at times but he would have resented sitting on the bench if Shawcross had been fit. Huth has done well at Leicester playing in a team who's style suits him. It is my opinion that Huth will not be playing regularly for Leicester next season. That is my opinion and I might be wrong. Huth fits Leicester's system he wouldn't fit ours, it's really as simple as that. He's a good player, not a good fit. Regardless of anything though, don't waste your time arguing with carpslayer mate.

That said he does fit our system better then Huth, he's comfortable on the ball at times. There's no doubt he isn't nearly as good a player but as a cover player Wilson is completely tolerable. You can't expect a real quality player to be happy to rot in the second team as emergency cover their entire career, that's why you end up with older players there or ones who aren't consistently good...

The other day Sky had Stoke v Southampton as one of their classic matches - the 3-3 with Jerome's block buster and the demise of Jack Cork (bless him).
If you want to see some comical defending, check out Huth in that game. He makes Wolly, Wilson et al look like Franco Baresi.

Huth fits Leicester's system he wouldn't fit ours, it's really as simple as that. He's a good player, not a good fit. Regardless of anything though, don't waste your time arguing with carpslayer mate. However Wilson does debate over. Wilson had a better attitude to sitting on the bench and was happy just to be a squad member plus he could play in a number of positions. In my opinion Huth is better at centre half than Wilson. It is also my opinion that I think Wilson will move on this summer.

Wilson comfortable on the ball at times priceless absolute comedy genius however he is happy to rot in the under 21's when he is not injured of course keeping Muniesa company on the treatment bench so that is fine with some including yourself, how do you rate Wolfy as a defender compared to Huth ?

Very immature. Wether true or not clearly shows people too busy thinking they can post something instead of wether they should.
Would they appreciate people sharing their medical history with the world? It's dangerous, stupid, naive and very very insensitive.
Whatever rock these "most influential" fans crawled out from under they can all make their way back for all I care.
Fan pages, beards, YouTube accounts, podcasts

Whatever rock these "most influential" fans crawled out from under they can all make their way back for all I care. Fan pages, beards, YouTube accounts, podcasts Get a grip Messageboards? Fanzines? Majority of the debate is about what happens on the pitch? And rarely does it delve into what seems like an obsession. Don't get me wrong, out of some of the things i listed I actually think knot fm, bearpit tv have been a breath of fresh air but I'm making the point about not drowning yourself in all things Stoke City, especially when as a consequence people are sharing very private medical information as fact with the rest of the world like it's their god given right and demanded by normal fans. Surely most of us do not need or want to know that Ryan may or may not be going through as shared or SLP? Considering this information was previously private. It's just shit all round, no consideration. Given our previous antics at Wigan a few years ago (a tenuous link) you would think we have learnt how to behave ourselves by now in relation the captain of the club

I don't think he'll regret it for one minute and Huth certainly won't.

Stoke loud and proud posted earlier today about Shawcross's injury being pyschological and not physical. Firstly what a load of utter rubbish, how on earth would they know. Secondly, they should not be reporting things like this even if it were to be true unless it were to be disclosed by Ryan or the management team to the public. It's something very personal and if true(which is isn't, as his wife confirmed pretty much on Twitter) it likely caused him much Trauma and specualtion about his mental health is disgusting. There are one or two very good admins on there but Jesus that page posts some weird and shameless things
