You do not sign "cover" players! You sign better players than we already have! Or sell them as we did with Huth of course That is your opinion and not necessarily correct whereas what I originally said is not an opinion but one of the commandments for any top manager.

So you rate Wilson, Cameron, Muniesa and wolfy as better CB's than Robert Huth, surprising that he decided to keep Wilson especially ahead of Huth, he certainly did not sign a better CB when he signed Wolfy as a replacement, I still do not rate him despite the improvement this season compared to when he was on loan with us he was awful and ending up getting dropped.

It was so obviously not a footballing decision to get rid of Huth. There were clearly some non-football related issues between Huth and Hughes or so I've been told (but not what the issues were). The players you name are not better centre halves than Huth but perhaps they are not so disruptive in the dressing room.

The post has been taken down but it should never have gone up in the first place Utterly bamboozling that it was up in the first place. I see slpmarc is yet to respond to my point above. Worse than tabloid garbage that post was. I hope Ryan is unaware of it. What was said mate?

Yep I was the one that posted their tweet on here. But SLP then deleted their tweet- hence the blank space on my post. After the outrage on here, I think it'll be better if I don't say what they tweeted.

SL&P posted the other day their pride at being named one of the sentinel listed most "influential" Stoke fans. Funny how they could remove the post about Ryan earlier and not apologise or give any explanation about it on their page or on here. Being such an influence posts like that are never going to be helpful, especially if they are NOT 100% true. Rumour season about players we could/could not sign in the summer is one thing. This was something else.

Wasn't there some talk of Hughes being unhappy that he couldn't train for a couple of days after a game. Must admit certainly hasn't hampered his game this year even if he isn't training he has played the majority of games and been pretty decent.

Can we all agree Stoke Loud and Proud are a bunch of fucking clowns who think the world now revolves around them and that we give a shit about them as personalities or their fucking retarded opinions.
I liked SLP when it was a bunch of melts hiding in bushes taking pictures at the training ground, who can't get behind that? But now it's bullshit like this that's posted, or them giving their opinions or doing fucking polls. I hate it.

Once again you are trying to impose your opinion on me as though you are the font of all knowledge. If that is not enough you then go on to try and tell people what my opinions are! The questions about Robert Huth will never be answered. I tend to just look at the facts of the matter. They are:- Huth earned the right to be a Stoke hero under Tony Pulis Huth had a long term injury that kept him out of the team. This injury coincided with a period of Renaissance under a new manager who wanted to change our style of play radically. In Huth's absence Hughes signed Wollsheid and Muniesa. Huth struggled to achieve a level of fitness demanded to get back in the team. Huth became frustrated and wanted first team football. Hughes decided in fairness to Huth to let him go because he had decided that Wollsheid, Wilson and Muniesa had better skills on the ball which better suited the way he wanted Stoke to play. (Hughes at this time could not possibly have foreseen the horrid run of injuries we would experience especially with Shawcross.) Stoke are going to perhaps have their best ever season in the Premiership. This is being achieved without Shawcross or Huth in the team. We would have welcomed having Huth available at times but he would have resented sitting on the bench if Shawcross had been fit. Huth has done well at Leicester playing in a team who's style suits him. It is my opinion that Huth will not be playing regularly for Leicester next season. That is my opinion and I might be wrong.
