Divides opinions wherever he goes. West Brom fans ready to kill each other over whether or not premiership survival is enough (or even guaranteed). Incidentally, do we still refer to them as West Brazil!?

How many goals have West Brom scored? I think it's the lowest in the league, joint with Aston Villa and one other side.

I have just read some of the Pulis thread on the West Brom. forum starting at the beginning when he was appointed, there was widespread rejoicing,I then skipped to page 190 of 192 page thread and it was a replica of this board .

How many goals have West Brom scored? I think it's the lowest in the league, joint with Aston Villa and one other side. It's fuck all to do with that and you know it. He's gone in, spent a fortune, moved players out of position and given up trying to win football matches away from home. EXACTLY like at Stoke. He'll keep them up, but will rip the fans apart doing so. The bloke is footballing poison. And if you're going to insist about the goals, they have £40million worth of forwards in the side but can't score goals.

It is hard to disagree with any of that, though thankfully or us he took us from B to A so I wouldn't really call him poisonous. From a West Brom perspective, you could say so though that gives me great joy. He is a lot like another Tony, of the Blair persuasion: people don't like a lot of what he did; he spent a lot of money; after his tenure he divides opinion to the point where people loathe him, yet he took his party from the shit to the promise land and had a lot of success in results. You can see the parallels. I would hate to be an existing Prem team and have him appointed and now we are an established club I would rather be relegated than see him back here.

I hope to god they don't sack him.
I can, however, see him walking when berahino is sold in January.
Watching that shit and being relegated would be the funniest thing to happen in the history of football.

I'm back over the Xmas period so will you be able to sort me a few tickets out for the game at West Brazil (and Everton) for that matter?

Sadly this will never end. The same old shit will continue. One camp fighting against another.
Tony Pulis was a brilliant manager for Stoke City Football Club and oversaw one of our best periods in our proud history. His time came to an end and we rightly parted company.
We've both flourished since.
The end.

"We'd rather get relegated than watch THAT shit every week" It's funny because it's West Brom and they may well get relegated watching THAT shit. Any team that tries to defend a 1-0 lead against 9 men deserves to be fucking relegated.

We are only just starting to click and by the end of the season we will have scored more goals than West Brom. 14/15 season his West Brom team scored 38, Hughes’s Stoke scored 48. 13/14 season his Crystal Palace Team scored 33 Hughes’s Stoke scored 45.

I don't give a fuck about West Brom, it's this absolute confidence that we're just about to click and start banging in the goals I don't really see. Maybe we will but at the minute we are most definitely a shot shy outfit.

Martial, Van Nistelroy, Suarez and Aguero are but a few of the foreign legionnaires who took ages to settle. Not sure Martial has earned the right to be included on that list...

You couldn't make this shit up. "The former Hull defender joined the Baggies on an £8million move" "has not started in the Premier League since the opening day of the season" "Chester added: “When I signed he said he knew I could play at centre-half but he wanted to use me at full-back"" "“But to only give me one opportunity there I find it quite difficult to understand."" www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/bench-warmer-james-chester-already-6837129

Pulis: "I'd like to play you out of position." Chester: "Where do I sign?"

The Hawthorns is the highest ground above sea level after all, bound to be a bit windy :)
