All well and good but yet another incompetent referee gets away scot free.
Strange how all his shit decisions are against the so called smaller clubs.

Although Lesta fans would disagree because they are up there with Sunderland in terms of numbers of deluded juvenile fuckwits. BM

Strangely, Tony wasn't moaning at the officials when his team was gifted three points by virtue of an appalling decision against Sunderland the other week.

Manager in being a self serving, hypocritical t**t shocker!
Hughes did similar when claiming the Wes Brown red was deserved when he was nowhere near Charlie.
They all do it.

Or when Affelay was sent off after being assaulted by one of his players. Mr Pulis speak is very two faced. However both incidents were definite penalties, so I have a little bit of sympathy.

What were Tony's thoughts on the shitting habits of bears? Apparently he's quite partial to a steaming pile of bear shit and can often be found sniffing around for fresh droppings during the high season (late September and January). His favored spot for collecting the most rancid excretions is under an apple tree somewhere near the Stadium of Light.

In terms of Hughes' recruitment policy I reckon he's maintained a good balance of Premiership experience and British, {Given, Sidwell, Johnson, Ireland, Bardsley} and a few riskier 'unknown' quantities. We should also recognise the mix at the U21 level recruitment with the lads from Everton, Blackpool, {Waring, Telford, Waddington}, and those from abroad {Molina, Verlinden, Moha etc}. I think so far on the whole Stoke's experience in the foreign market has been positive: Pieters hit the ground running, for me Arnautovic even when patchy is the finest of finds, Bojan didn't take long to adjust, shame about the injury. I reckon' Wollscheid has pretty much been good and getting better since his first game. I had a moment of nerves during the summer when I realized how many we'd signed, but I can now see the validity of all the signings for the good of the squad. Joselu was chucked in because of Diouf/Walters/Crouch/Odemwingie not being fit etc enough. He was ok and showed some glimpses of good stuff, but in the games he's featured he's been short on supply, not he's squandered a shed load of sitters. Hopefully we can get a run for Diouf, Joselu can start to feature off the bench and then in the FA Cup maybe. I still find the Shaqiri signing a bit mind blowing, love his attitude, insisting on travelling to Luton. I think he's massively improved our venom from set pieces/corners which is good. His dribbling at the weekend was brill in flashes, he's on an upward trajectory. I feel the same about Afellay, quality. I hope his WBA run in has been a learning curve. Tidy on the ball, economical with it and can do some recycling a bit N'Zonzi shaped. I rate him already. I also thought Van Ginkel was improving game by game, hardly hitting the ground running, but getting better, he'd had a good couple of chances which showed he was already getting into dangerous areas. Has he been sent to bulk up? was it planned that with so many games against Chelsea together it was better to use him sparingly? Certainly not worth writing off yet, or reading too much into it. He's only had a handful of games. He looks like an athlete, got some grit and he seems keen. And the Charlie plan is working, though it will always require back up {for suspensions, or avoiding suspensions and such.} There is still room for improvement obviously we won't stand still, and even though there were other targets I'm happy that we didn't bring any more in, there's enough new talent to see bed in. The received wisdom seems to be that any more than three signings for the first XI tends to be avoided. Wouldn't be surprized if we tickle Jedinek again at xmas, and I still wouldn't be shocked to see Agudelo back in the frame in the future! They seem to be prepared to be patient tracking a target. Think next year will see pretty big changes with the potential of any of Walters/Crouch/Wilson/Bardsley/Odemwingie/Sidwell/Ireland moving on and unfortunately perhaps one or two 'stars' being plucked too. We're moving into a phase where it's no longer natural wastage/injury/old age that sees us losing players, we'll have to start to learn to live with being cherry picked. A long winded way of saying I'm happy with the balance of the squad, and think our recent foreign contingent have adjusted better than we could have expected. And getting better. We are an exception. Glad you are happy Mr Hughes, by the way the British players bought in do not seem to feature very often apart from one, piss poor replacement for Zonz though very poor transfer window all in all.

A little more ground bait and fewer Boilies. I like Johnson. We've got plenty of Brits if that's yer worry. Butland Ryan Glen Glenn Charlie and so on. Etc. Are you whining because we've failed to find and sign N'Zonzi's twin? Look a little deeper Carps and get a grip.

He mentioned something recently about no one knowing what happened to the money the FA obtained through fines, so I think he's kind of challenging the FA and putting them on the spot a little. Good on him.

It's so brilliantly devious because he's basically saying to The FA, "show us that it's not all about making money" and putting them in a goldfish bowl. They'll want to keep the cash but the world is watching. Good old Tone, making the bastards squirm !!

Fair play, he's got a point. Greg Dykes response - it goes back into football at grass roots level - a bit more clarity wouldn't go amiss . Well done Tone I don't believe a word of it. The FA is a corrupt organization set up to line the pockets of the crooks that run it and offer protection to a chosen few Premier League clubs. Chelsea are now in the same boat as the rest of us, getting a bit of 'special attention' from the old boys at HQ. Pulis was bang on to challenge them, a moral dilemma is sure to put them on the spot, and Tone comes out of it all with clear conscience and a Teflon coating !! FA, it's your move !!
