He's a class act. His hold up play is improving with every game. Technically excellent and has a great strike on him. Last summer most of us wanted us to sign a striker who's a blend of Diouf and Crouch. Joselu is that man. Great performance. This.

I love that he's equally adept with both feet and his good technique when he shoots. It's the first time we've had a striker who i'm confident will finish chances whenever hes within 20 yards of the goal.

His work ethic is up there with Walters too.

And again he was slated at first.
Our fans need to realise that great teams don't happen overnight. New players need time to bed in and get going.

Very, very good player.
I initially thought he'd be more of a target man but he's got the tools to bag a shitload for us, we just need to start firing in that final third again.

Against most of the other teams in the league he would've had 2 goals today, Shame Chelsea decided to gift them wankers Petr Cech.

He was excellent against Norwich. Today he was good (not excellent) in the second half, but not in the first.

People still try to question Hughes and his transfer policy, Definitely want to see him playing infront of Bojan, Arnie and Shaq

Another very good performance. He has earned the shirt now.
I notice the idiot who referred to him as Tosselu during the Everton game has disappeared.
What a surprise!

We don't need to a new striker.
I'm convinced.
Winger and Defensive midfielder please.

First time I've seen him properly and I thought he was very good today. I'm quite surprised by how mobile he is. Which foot is his strongest? I couldn't work it out.

We don't need to a new striker. I'm convinced. Winger and Defensive midfielder please. Back up for Arnie seems needed as he looked out of it for a long time today and seemed to be carrying a knock and we had nobody to bring on. Maybe an assadi/moses type loan who can play on both wings would be a good move until the end of the season. And while I like Whelan it does have to be said he seems the easiest player to upgrade in the starting 11 at the moment. That's more of a case of having such a strong team than him not being any good though.

I thought he was great away to Swansea earlier in the season.
Then he looked awful in his subsequent games. I did doubt him.
He certainly has surprised me, he looks more aggressive, looking to get shots off, which I don't think he did once in his first handful of appearances.
He is now looking a very good prospect.

To be in with a shout of the top 5 we need a player to score 10 goals between now and the end of the season and I think (I've always thought) Joselu could well achieve this. At £4 million, Charlie Austin was definitely worth a gamble to achieve this though I hear he wanted to stay down South. Perhaps another quality winger is our best chance of getting 10 goals out of somebody, possibly Joselu. I think today proved that is our weakest position despite the immediate quality have, the cover is not quite up to scratch.

He started the following game at home to Watford where he was largely anonymous but everyone else was poor anyway and I don't think he was seen again until the Sheffield Wednesday cup game ? His next appearance after that would have been at Everton?

It's a pity he's broken into the team at a time when Shaqiri is injured and Bojan is off form.
I think he's really got what it takes to form a good understanding with them when they're both doing the business.
He had another couple of good efforts on goal today and he was particularly unlucky with that last minute effort which forced a great save from Cech.

If I was going to be a bit critical (which I am) I'd like to see him run in behind a bit more and use his pace. This would create more room for Bojan to operate in.

The lad is class.
He reminds me in the way he plays of Harry Kane who turns reminds me of Teddy Sheringham. A very clever footballer and a fine manipulator of space and defenders.
