Who are you on about? Henderson? I really don't like Henderson. I think Ward-Prowse should be in there ahead of him but other than that I can't think of one. Henderson's out injured, isn't he? I'm not much for him either! Just as I was halfway through typing this I've seen theonlooker sussed out who I was on about. It just seems to me that somebody with that record is more deserving of at least an opportunity than a guy who has played well for Spurs in the handful of games that he's actually played. I thought we wanted the team picked on form, not handing out caps as a lifetime achievement sympathy vote?

I remember Wilko doing a similar job on Ronaldo. Jones is nowhere near good enough, technically, to play in midfield on the International stage. Possibly. I still think there's a player there somewhere. What about that mouth though?

Would love to see him in and around the technical area. If anything, he'd do the job too well.

I thought we wanted the team picked on form, not handing out caps as a lifetime achievement sympathy vote? Would it have been a lifetime achievement sympathy vote if, say, Ryan had been called up prior to his injury? He's been very consistent at Premier League level, apart from one season where they dipped into the Championship and has been a regular starter for nearly a decade now. When the latest bright young thing gets in the squad ahead of Ryan, we're rightly annoyed. It's not all that different.

I don't think Noble's form has been anywhere near as consistent as Ryan's in that time.

I'm not sure, but at any rate, it's a bit academic because Hodgson's policy seems to be to skip out that generation altogether!
