This thread is an A to Z about football stereotypes
As for Tony Pulis - we should all welcome him
And, as for today -we will be tested physically and organisationaly - but we have replaced football players with better football players - that much is true also
I suspect Danny has not appreciated this fully
So, I predict a good game, a tough game - and a two - one home victory
and I especially look forward to seeing Shak tearing them up

Here's the rub and I've said it before and I truly believe it - there is an undercurrent of support who will take joy in a WBA win tomorrow so they can lay into Hughes and continue to eulogies over Pulis. It will be denied but they can't wait, you only have to read in between the lines. Name names. He won't need to if we lose,it'll be transparent.

higgy says stoke players dont have fight in them ,too many nice players and defence is fragile ,he believes rondom will have a big game tomorrow Pulis Apologist Or a former player who's trying to push his way into the punditry circle? You can't be biased like Hansen and Lawrenon in the past. Gary Neville has to pick fault with Man United and Jamie Carragher has to rip apart Liverpool's tactics. As soon as they stop being neutral on air Sky will have hundreds of ex players waiting to replace them. Higgy is trying his best to break into the punditry/commentary group and good luck to him.

Well, I hate to be a doom merchant but I can easily see an Albion win. Different side or not, play like we did on Tuesday and a Pulis side will be far too tough to break down. Of course I want to be proved wrong. Higgy knows his stuff, looking at it objectively, this is not as preposterous as it woulda been in years gone by. It will be a very different line up on Saturday, though. Plus, I suspect that LMH will have had a few words in shell-likes after Tuesday. Let's face it, we rarely have back-to-back bad performances and I reckon the boys are gagging to put things right at home. And the factor of Shaq's debut home game will cancel out the Pulis love-in in terms of net profit. Our cm has put in back to back to back to back bad performances so far, excluding 30 mins at Spurs. Got or improve today Surely.

Pugsleys & his sidekicks suggestion that there is a so called undercurrent of support for pulis is a weapon he'll use as choice to lash people with if wba win or even draw. It would'nt matter to him if stoke go 5 without a win going into the arsenal game. He'll accuse people who are concerned of the start to the season of having an agenda and of course the old overused line that "you are not a stoke supporter", the guy is warped.

I did watch the West Brom game on my laptop and came on here afterwards and it was a very muted response, just utterly confused at how fucking shit we were.

He helped us to effectively win the lottery, but it will be short lived for as soon as the whistle goes it's game on. He won't get the red carpet it will be a ripple of applause, surely that's not ott on his first home return? that aside the above is what will happen tonight if we don't get 3 points though, people will be accused of not being Stoke supporters through being a bit concerned about the start, effectively trying to create something that isn't there in a bizarre fantasy dislike for the manager.

Higgy is a commentator and has to report as he sees it...
And he is correct - we are too soft now
Probably a draw as TP will be happy with that
We are currently considerably weaker as identified by Higgy
Without Shawcross (back new year playing) and Nzonzi we are not a top ten side
Hope that I am wrong and the replacements come good

Today will be a horrible game, I can almost guarantee it. Pulis goes out to stop other teams playing, and I doubt it will be any different today. The likelihood of a good spectacle and game is very slim IMO.

Ultimately whatever your stance on Pulis it's just words. People need to remember that during his last season around 10% of our season ticket holders decided it was time for ACTION and chose not to renew. That was a massive wake up call for the owners considering their financial outlay on players and the rest is history. It was 100% time for him to go, he's not suffered professionally, we've not suffered and from a personal point of view win lose or draw I enjoy what gets served up most weeks.
So let's give him a good old fashioned Britannia welcome, but then all move on. Will I applaud him? It's irrelevant I probably won't get my lazy arse in the ground until 3.05 anyway....... ????
