Diouf had a really poor game when he came off the bench and his goal was a tap in. It was arnie that got us the goal really so that's probably why Him coming on was the reason that Everton had to play 20 yards deeper. He was far from poor, and he did what he was sent on to do. And he scored. This. His pace creates space for others.

I didn't think his tap in was particularly easy. I've seen them missed and he was in the right place. I believe he will get better with confidence, and like most strikers will have good and bad spells throughout the season. I like him.

It's either agenda driven by those who backed themselves into a corner early doors or they're just pigshit thick.

A player that could push Everton back 20 yards and one that could thrive on the space between their high midfield and previously high back four!

The thing that makes me want to toss my turnips is the bleeting that goes on when one of our players is in bad form. Might have played three blinders in a row but then has a few poor matches and its, "Fook him off up the Vale ..." If the majority of our "so called fans" had the patience of Job, and a little bit of perspective, much less could wind their necks in .... We would be a much better lot to deal with on this MB.

He never missed his chance and only took one touch Crouch was much better I thought But we struggling going forward with Crouch on We had no pace and gave Everton nothing to think about and if you can't see that the game was slipping from our grip it's worrying Diouf gave their defence problems that weren't there prior to his introduction If you don't like him that's fine but watch the match eh

Every time he had a chance he messed it up with his first touch Which chances were they then? I only remember one chance which he slotted very calmly with his first touch.

Watched Baggies yesterday and they were undone by exactly the tactics of having pace with the ability to get behind the defence which is what Diouf in combination with Arnie and\or Moses brings.

Would you have been able to score his goal at Man City?. No but that wasn't my point, I'm talking about against everton First requirement is to be in the right place second is the ability to react third not to panic. Good example of how easy it is to miss was by Baggies player yesterday. Everton was a game between two poor sides in all honesty.

I like Diouf, his touch and passing are a little bit worrying at times but he's scored goals, although I think he should have a lot more with the chances he's had. His Pace is always going to be a threat. He creates space also which is good for the likes of Arnie.

Against a team like hull who turn up to defend he will be poor cos he doesn't have a good enough first touch but against teams that come to play hes a great player to have cos he stretches their defencive line and makes more space for the midfield. I don't get why so many don't like the guy he always gives 100% even when hes not playing well.

I would have been able to score that myself But would you have been able to catch Stones napping, run half the length of the pitch with the ball perfectly under control, slot an inch perfect pass to Arnie and then anticipate Arnies one two with the post though?

No but I'm not a footballer. He is in the premier league playing at a high level so that would be the least you can expect from him
