Decent enough player.
Good signing for the bench and competition.
Worrying if he's earmarked to replace the Fonz.

Good signing if he's coming in to replace people like Palacios. Eight goals last season is not bad at all.

Where is the medical taking place - London, Southampton or Stoke?

Decent enough player. Good signing for the bench and competition. Worrying if he's earmarked to replace the Fonz. One characteristic MH shares with TP is his refusal to suffer disruptive influences in the dressing room. So, yes, I think 'the Fonz' will be moving on?

Sidwell in Palacios out would be a good upgrade. Got goals in him. Hopefully no more than a 2 year deal.

I hope not he's our best midfielder by a mile, he should be given a new contract.

That'll do.

Sidwell was the only Fulham player who looked like he gave a shit once they knew they were gone.
I'm happy with him coming in...

Another low key signing but another solid footballer who can slot straight in and do a job.
The only Fulham player who fronted up to the camera's after their relegation at our place. The only real player who turned up on the day as well.
Another slice of Margerita anyone?

Ok signing on a free. Bit concerned about his age. 31 is no age. The England captain is 3 years older and Liverpool have just spent £4m on a 32 year-old striker.

Good to have experienced premier league players to blend with the foreign imports.

I thought our transfer policy was changing, bringing in players who we could nurture and sell on for a profit or who at least had a value ?
Then again I suppose it's better to get 30 + yr olds on frees rather than pay 10 million

Then again I suppose it's better to get 30 + yr olds on frees rather than pay 10 million We need a blend of youth and experience. Signing 30 something's on frees for 2 years is a good shout especially ones who are playing frequently not like Owen and Gudjohnson.

But the likelyhood is Sidwell will be replacing a younger man and I don't think he's better than what we already have. It's different with Barry,he'd be a step up in terms of quality.Sidwell, nah,a pretty average player in a very poor Fulham side.

But the starting team does not improve at all. He is a better player than Whelan and Adam so he could improve the starting eleven. That's a matter of opinion and it's not mine.I don't think he's any better than Whelan and he's definitely not as good as Adam
