10 points, what a fkn joke. You Walters-haters will never give up.Isn't the fact that a manager not called Pulis consistently picking him up,despite your previous claims, not enough? You might as well give up because I can say for sure if it rains tomorrow it will be Walters fault. I can't wait until his career comes to an end at SCFC and we see who becomes the next, rest assured there will be one. Serious question for you seeing as you think it is so ludicrous to question yet another poor performance and more importantly another golden chance being missed. Does it not frustrate you, even slightly, that he has now missed at least half a dozen easy chances and currently has only 1 goal to his name this season? Today's miss was yet another in a long line of missed sitters that have cost us points. 1 against Liverpool, 2 against Man City at home, possibly 1 today. That is 5 points without even thinking about it on a game by game basis.

I don't rate him myself because I think he is a shit footballer. He is very reactionary, doesn't anticipate runs, has a poor touch, is a dreadful goalscorer, is very slow and ponderous in possession and suchlike. He doesn't pick himself and he doesn't choose the tactics though. Most weeks he pulls out his tripe and sticks his bollocks on the line and I respect that. I respect the fact that he gives it his all as well but 100% of nothing is still nothing.

I'd like to know how you lot seem to know what his specific job is? Because it's all based on assumptions as far as I'm concerned, due to the fact that he is that anonymous most of the time it's impossible to tell what the fuck he is on the pitch for. I can't believe a player as limited as Walters is has spent so much time playing in a league well above his station.

The current team shape 4- 4-1-1, which some suggest works because walters is effective in that role behind the striker and helping the midfield, would be infinitely better if a decent footballer was put in that position. Odemwingie for instance would do very well for us in that role.
On the basis of Ethers 10 minutes or so earlier on, in which he showed more than walters has in the last few months, I would be minded to giving matty a run out on one flank and arnie on the other with odemwingie getting up in support of crouch, and leave sjw on the bench.
I sometimes think of the season we could have had if we had a good striker to play in that lone role. so many games have turned against us because we don't have one.

If I bumped into them I would. I regularly asked that question of those involved in the previous regime. In fact, it was something I asked about almost every week. Again, if his job is as you describe, he didn't do it very well today. If he had done it well, then that deep lying player who generally starts off the quick attacks you refer to, wouldn't have been able to bomb forward the way he did. It's a job he failed to do well today. It's a job he fails to do well on a near weekly basis and against the lesser side, if his job is as you describe, then you've probably answered why we are so crap at beating those teams in and around us in terms of league position and ability. In a nutshell, you can see the job he's asked to do and the reason you don't rate him is obviously because he fails to the jobs that you can see he is being asked to do. What other reason can there be for not rating him if you generally think he does what he's asked to do well? He doesn't fail to do those jobs in the main. He is an excellent stopper. He has bad games like today, just like every other player. Sticking his bollocks on the line,is so important as to be unable to quantify it.No 3 points for an assist here. You need players on the team to run through "the wall",these players tend to be the least skilful.

I respect the fact that he gives it his all as well but 100% of nothing is still nothing. It is indeed. Ask Mark Hughes why he keeps on picking him, and more importantly why he picks a front line of Peter Crouch with the aforementioned Jon Walters, and the whopping 8 league goals between them, when we are not exactly flush with goals and creativity? He certainly doesn't pick himself.

Totally disagree mate. Aside from Shawcross and Adams he's first on the teamsheet for me. That's your prerogative but I wouldn't have him anywhere near my starting 11 if Crouch is playing up front? Why? Because Walters is second only to Shotton in the "worst winger I've ever seen stakes" and because he is totally ineffective in his best position when he is partnering Crouch. So long as we persist with Walters and Crouch as regulars in our team, we will continue to struggle for goals, continue to struggle to pick up the points our general play deserves and will constantly be perilously close to the relegation places. The offer no threat, no pace, no creativity and most importantly of all, no goals. Sorry, forgot Bego. SJW should IMO be in a central attacking role behind a genuine centre forward. He's not a winger and never will be....the fact that he's played so much there is down to the general shiteness of the alternatives. Yet again today he showed what a thoroughly annoying opponent he is as he buzzed around his far more talented opponents like a persistent wasp. I love him i do.

So why do successive managers pick him... i'd rather Walters than show ponies like Arnautovic... Walters has been a great servant... and all that bollocks. or all that bollocks that you spout........................................................

He doesn't score, and therein lies one of our main, if not the main problem. He can run round all day, but he is NOT good enough. If he wasn't,t playing, we could surely have a goalscorer playing in front of him, but there lies another f,ing problem. We haven,t pigging well got one. Mark Hughes has got his hands tied with what he has got. We can bang on forever, but if the proper funds to bring in the better type of player are not provided, we will have to go on watching a very in and out side. Where on earth are the goals going to come from. I myself am at a complete loss at this moment in time. There,s only Charlie that inspires any amount of confidence in front of goal, and to me, that is not enough.

Are you sure it was such a sitter of a header? They didn't even bother to show it on the highlights. They didn't show Adam's shot that whistled wide, nor the Odemwinge incident which could have been a red card and couldn't have been far away from being a penalty. MOTD don't show a crucial moment in the game is hardly a surprise or indicative of the quality of chance missed. It's MOTD. It is a programme that stopped being worth watching after the Villa game in our opening home match of our spell in the Premier League.

Facts of life -
1. Its all Tony Pulis' fault. 2. If you cant blame it on him any longer blame Jonny Walters.
....just when you think people might have moved on. Very very sad.

It is now such a regular occurrence that it is now the norm for donkey Walters, the man is past a joke he has cost enough points this season already how much longer is this going to persist, Hughes will go the same way as Pulis if this carries on with the inclusion of wanky Walters week in week out.
