Well, what a journey it has been under the leadership of Tony Pulis. The last 6 or 7 years have been some of the best days of my life, days I could've only dreamed of. Promotion against Leicester, the FA Cup Semi-final and Final, Valencia away and numerous Premier League scalps, just some of the games that will stay with me forever. I'm truly saddened to see him go but I feel it is probably the right time, I'm glad he can leave the club with his head held high and his pride and dignity in tact. Pulis has brought more success to this club than I could've ever imagined, hopefully the new manager can bring even more. Thanks for the memories Tone, forever grateful.

Definitely think it's time for a change. Having said that, now he's gone, I feel like I've been kicked in the bollocks. We've got to appoint the right man now. Thanks for everything Tony, you got us back amongst the big boys, and for that I'll be eternally grateful.

I fully appreciate that it may be time for Pulis to go, but I am none the less sad to see him depart the picture of him celebrating at wembley actually bought a lump to my throat. Despite what some ppl say on here Pulis loved this club and only ever attempted to do the best for it, I wish there was a proper way the club and fans could say thank you/good bye. Thanks for everything Tony, you have certainly provided me with some of my best Stoke supporting memories! Good luck for the future.

One lifelong Stokie here. I say thank you to Tony Pulis for what you have done for our club. I have not forgotten where we came from unlike a number here. Tony you leave with your head high and my best wishes. It is a tough call and by god it is a risky call but we do need to keep moving up and I trust the Coates to make the best decision they can. For one day, just one day, all that true Stoke City fans should be saying is thank you.

Thanks for everything, Our Tone. Thanks for the Cup Final (and my 12,000 mile journey). Thanks for promotion. Thanks for resurrecting our club.
Sad that this couldn't have been done before the Spurs game, I do think supporters would have given Our Tone the send-off he deserved. But knowing Our Tone it probably was known (by him and Saint Peter), but he declined the offer of an ovation. 'Umbleness: Sometimes it's an endearing trait and sometimes it's as annoying as f**k; but then that's Our Tone.
Bitter sweet.

Thank you Tone. You've given me days I thought I'd never see as a Stoke City supporter. Premier League football, a 5-0 victory at Wembley, an FA Cup Final, Europa League, £10m signings, England internationals, sell-outs week in, week out. You're a legend.

Grateful to pulis for taking us up, those first few seasons were a real rollercoaster of emotion.
Stability followed but the more high profile the signing the more he struggled to handle them,
lots of highs, lots of lows, but i'll never forget being at wembley twice with my kids & my mates
for an unforgettable experience. As a manager not my cup of tea but i think he always tried his best for
Stoke, in the end i just think his best wasn't good enough. Football will always move on so wishing for
something better/different is a natural feeling, we aren't charlton or wolves or any other team in a lower
division so lets not go there. Already looking forward to the new manager so keep the faith.

I've always been on the fence a bit when it comes to TP. I genuinely believe that no other manager would have got us promoted that season and no other manager would have kept us up in the following 2 seasons either. The cup run to Wembley and a season in Europe were beyond my expectations as a stoke fan who thought success was winning the 3rd division under Lou Macari and laughing at the Vale as they finished 3rd behind Bolton.
However, with the money he has had to spend TP should have done better in the last two seasons, I didn't object to the pressing, high tempo tactics when we employed 2 wingers and closed teams down, but the 2nd half of last season, and all of this, we have failed to do what we have been good at since we got promoted. The football has been dire, with the exception of Liverpool, and the 2nd half against Southampton. We even failed to turn up at home to Man City in the FA Cup, a competition that most Stoke fans relish because of Tony's own appetite for it.
This season has seen neither evolution or revolution. TP has been the architect of his own downfall, spending millions of his chairman's money and not replacing the players that bought him such success previously, Fuller, Ringtone, Pennant...
I'm grateful for what he has done. He's the Tony Waddington of my era but it would be foolish to think that he's the only manager who could have kept us up with the money he's had to spend these last two seasons.
Good luck Tone, but it's time for a change.

Firstly I'm not Tones biggest fan but I really wish him the best for the future. Despite the horrific playing style lets thank him for taking us to the Premiership, FA Cup final and Europe and for building us into an established PL team. Such a shame it came at such cost on the playing style.
Let's also not forget his charity walks and him turning up at the Villa game after the passing of his mother.
For me he's left at just the right time before it got nasty.
Now he's gone let's not be bitter towards him and whoever takes over lets get behind them.
