Dave Bamber, I remember reading an after match report which said Dave Bamber must have seen someone who had wronged him in the stand, as every chance he had he aimed for row Z trying to hit them with the ball.

No shouts for Chris Greenacre yet? Not the worst but worthy of a mention. This question is always quite difficult because for me it has to be someone who was given a good run in the side and was consistently shit over at least the bulk of a season. Hence players like Xausa, O'Neill Donaldson and even Gabbiadini don't count for me. In my time, for sheer take-the-piss levels of apathy and lack of any effort at all, I'd go for Paul Stewart. With you on the Greenacre shout. remember him missing a sitter of a header away at MK Dons in the Fa cup.

I think these kind of threads are a bit 'iffy' for me because there are often good underlying reasons why players fail to impress at certain clubs and it's very rarely a case of players 'not giving a fuck' or lack of effort. For instance, John Tudor always gets a mention and I uderstand why, but I temper my disappointment at him at Stoke with the knowledge that he was an outstanding partner for MacDonald at Newcastle and we simply got him too late (as usual). Stewart was awful but he had been a very good player and his legs had well and truly gone when he landed at Stoke. Gabbiadini was never fit enough to play/do himself justice at Stoke but was a good player both before and after Stoke. It's a sad, recurring fact that Stoke have tended to get good players when they are well past their sell-by date but I try to be fair and many of them were very good players - just not for us.

In my lifetime I guess I'd have to say Bruce Dyer he couldn't even get a game when Mama was the only other striker on the books and I've got nothing against Mama but he's never been the most prolific striker and when Mama playing a lone striker role keeps you on the bench chances are you're not very good

It has to be tuncay--costs loads to buy--costs loads to keep-- scores nil Cost less, and Scored more than Dave Kiston, which by your logic, makes Kitson worse well said ID ..

I think that there's little doubt that, at a reported £4 - £6 Million and a handful of goals, Kitson would HAVE to be the worst VALUE. Bangoura was an absolute financial bargain in comparrison.

Trygivvi Gudmundsson, Bruce Dyer, Pericard, Lightbourne, Albrightsen and Ricketts were all pretty hopeless.
The award has to go to Dyer though. He was unbelievably bad.
