I walked out of the away end yesterday after the game and we found ourselves mixed in with the Utd fans, stokies were singing about chelsea winning the league etc and utd fans obviously didn't like it.
Any way a little further down it kicked off good style and I found myself through no fault of my own right in the middle of it and I got twatted on the thigh by a coppers truncheon which fuckin wrecked, he just twatted me for no reason and others as well saying get the fuck away now when I was trying to do exactly that as it was quite scary really, I then got twatted again around the ankles by another copper for getting out of the way of the mither, absolute cunts the GMP are, hitting folk for no reason.
I walked a bit further down the road and there was a guy out cold on the side of the road with two coppers around him and his little lad stood over him crying his eyes out, he was a stokie and had took a kicking even though he had his son with him, I stupidly tried to see if the young load was OK as he looked to be on his own but then I got twatted AGAIN on the arm and was told to fuck off and get away even though the bloke was out cold and the lad was understandably crying his eyes out, absolute twats who did this to the bloke and even more so the coppers were fucking horrible yesterday and treated folk like animals as normal.
Did anybody else experience this or see the poor bloke on the floor? If anyone knows the bloke involved do you know how he is as he looked in a bad way.
It's fucking shocking and sad to see this, it's a fuckin football match for fucks sake, it isn't worth all this mither.
I am covered in bruises this morning because of those bastard coppers.

I don't suppose you managed to take the coppers numbers from the sholders? If it was close to the ground it is possible that it was caught on CCTV. I am sure you can obtain a copy for a fee. Then make a complaint. Man Utd fans around me were giving me stick as i was waiting for a train, in the end I said "look mate, it's not our fault you Lost the fucking league. We did our best by gifting you 4 goals." utter bunch of nasty cunts.

That's shocking mate, I really hope the Stokie is ok and I hope the young lad isn't put off football for life because of some spineless Manc.
I find it incredible that you can also get hit three times just for trying to get home, I know the Old Bill has a tough job to do in these instances but randomly hitting passers by just because they are in the vicinity is truly despicable and totally unacceptable.

I said what is your fuckin number to the second one who twatted me and he went for me again and said just fuck off NOW, so I did as I was on my own mate and meeting a few mates in a pub after the game, I will get in touch with em and see if I can have a copy of the cctv, it really is a breach of your human rights to be treated like I/we were yesterday and that poor bloke with his lad was sickening to see mate, whoever targets people with kids want fucking with a rusty bread knife.
Didn't we gift them four goals not five? Haha.

We were parked in Salford and some pleasant lad thought it would be nice to spit in my face, while another prick started on me and my mate. Wasn't wise to retaliate though as there were about 15 of the buggers. Not a copper in sight Hope this chap is OK.

Mate I was merely trying to get away ASAP, I didn't say a fuckin word as I just tried to keep myself to myself and meet my friends up the road in a pub after the game as planned, I have never wanted trouble or look for trouble in my life, I am not that sort of lad, I just go to footie with mates for a laugh and a drink, that is all, never ever for trouble.

Cilla I saw the bloke on the floor against a wall he had no colours on just a blue top.You knew it would kick off. When I came out with the family with a group of Stokies singing we fookin hate man utd and saw about 10k shit fans in front of us I thought here we go. I hope the bloke is OK. The shit fans got it all day and could not take it,had no answer to it,and got the hump. Some of these songs that the Stokies made up were brilliant and watching the shit do their lap of honour with Stokie singing the John Terry song was priceless.

Cilla... I pretty much saw it all unfold, i was with 2 others (we werent in colours so we didnt get any abuse luckily) Soon as we come out the away end, there was a good maybe 50 - 60 in a group who came out at the same time, straight away to our left we had the scum chanting ' Chelsea rent boys ' - which was just countered with a ' John Terry, is lifting the cup! '. As far as I remember thats when all there knob heads decided to come over and try to pick fights. Walking up the small bank to the road, there were 4 coppers standing talking, they looked up when a fight broke out at the top of the hill, and they just stood there for at least 30 seconds before realising it was actually quite serious and to go and help the ONE other policeman who was fighting both sets and trying to seperate them on his own. Eventually a couple of policehorses waded in, just steamed through the crowd, the other coppers on foot got there truncheon's withdrawn and literally started hitting fans. Which at the time I thought was fair enough as it was roughly about 5,000 scum fans vs 30 Stoke. We were massivly outnumbered and had absolutly no chance of doing anything. I heard the lad on the floor was hit by a bottle? Not sure if 100% accurate. Walking down the road, about 200 Man United fans just all trying to kick it off on ONE bloke with a retro Stoke top on, we were all desperate to help him out, but the simple fact was, we would of been absolutely murdered, couldn't see any other Stoke fans around us at all, nor were any Police to be seen... Thank fully the Stokie didnt react and walked on, as did we - and he eventually got away from all of there knob heads. Absolutely utterly wank that 200 - 300 would all just turn on one stoke fan on his own. U must have been behind us abit Cilla if you saw the bloke on the floor, we werent to far away when it happend but amongst that many people I didnt see exactly how he went down

Can't believe what i am hearing. Utter bunch of no class scum. The way Utd fans are talking on their boards is like their Gods gift.
Why are they so annoyed, they won, it was out of their hands, we sang some songs taking the mick. there is no need to attack away fans just wanting to get home and outnumbered in their thousands.
I hope these bastards all get their just desserts.

Yup, my mate said he heard a couple of scum fans behind us say ' These 3 are Stoke ' - Didnt hear it myself, but it gave us good reason to keep our heads down and walk on.
What a decision I made yesterday morning though, should I go in colours today? Yeah I think I will... actually best not just incase...
Thank the lord! ;D

I was stuck in amongst all the trouble too, luckily though, didn't have the treatment from police that you did! We had bottles, coins and all sorts flying at us, one bottle appeared to just miss hitting my lady in the head, another young girl was knocked to the floor!
As for the bloke who was on the floor, after we managed to get through the mither, there was another 2 blokes with him, one who had his 2 kids there too who were friends and had all gone to the game together! Me and my lady went over to see if all was ok. The bloke on the floor was unconscious when we got there but came around a few minutes later and for some reason it took what felt like a good 20mins to find a paramedic to come to the scene.
As for what happened, obviously we didn't see it but we were told that he took a blow to the head by fist or bottle and the blokes head hit the wall behind him and apparently the kids ran away from it all in fear but were proceeded to be pulled back by the 'so called' Man Utd fans one hit across the head and the other was kicked! The last we heard was that the bloke was taken to Hope Hospital in Salford, would love to hear of any updates if any one has any?
As for the police, nothing but praise for the ones who were with the bloke, did a great job of looking after him waiting for paramedics, and sorting the kids out, managed to get them food and drinks from the snack bar just past the bridge and arranged free travel down to the hospital for his friend and his 2 kids (his son went in the ambulance with him).

Spells trouble next season Im afraid
Its ironic that Man Ure fans claim there is no rivalry with Stoke, behave this way and now potentially re-create the sort of thing that was going on in the 70's when the rivalry was intense.
They really are scum

Well that is refreshing to hear that the coppers looked after the kids well after it calmed down a tad, when I walked past there was just one youngster on his own in floods of tears and there were a few coppers around the incident and I got told to eff off and got a thrashing around the arm for my troubles. Wankers, surprised it didn't break my damn arm it hit me that hard.

What happened yesterday is no more shocking than what has happened at our place to some away fans. All football teams have scum following them unfortunately.
H
I imagine it has more to do with waving the Chelsea flag and taking the piss about Chelsea winning the title than any actual rivalry to be honest.

I suppose there were good and bad coppers yesterday as there always are. The two coppers (a PC and a WPC) who came to check if I was alright after I had been knocked to the ground by a Man Utd "fan" who was old enough to know better, were both fine and I thank them for their efforts. The Man Utd fans who helped me up and who found and gave me back my specs were also sound lads. Unfortunately, Man Utd, like most clubs, have a minority of idiots but, in their case, there are a heluva lot of idiots as it is a heluva big crowd. Quite why a few songs about Chelsea should get them so riled I don't know. It never really bothers me what opposition fans chant - but maybe I am the exception? Weird!
