He’s top class hopefully he didn’t pick up an injury towards the end. How is it that the ref didn’t see that as a foul. The ref didn't see a lot really.Didnt see them kick the ball away twice after the whistle had gone, didn't see several fouls, and when he did he didn't see any that he deemed to be Yellow.Even pull backs when the player was in a strong offensive movement. The assistants were as usual worse than useless.

To add a bit of context, Man City U21’s are not actually very good surprisingly. They are rock bottom in 16th place of Premier League 2 with only 1 win out of 11 It's not that they aren't very good and more that their U21's team is made up of mainly u17 and u18 boys. We also fielded Campbell and Wilmot in our team last night. Tezgel and Lowe themselves are mere youngsters but going overboard because he's scored in what was effectively an u18's game is a bit daft. Is Tezgel even 18 yet? Yes Lowe is a day older than Tezgal. As you say they are still very young.Lowe won't be 19 till September 18th this year.

Dont think his comments are that bad to be honest Seen far worse comments from opposition managers, Steve Cooper springs to mind His comments after our draw at their place were absurd, bordering on delusional.

Rotherham being "the aggressor" all game with 0 shots on target? I dont know what game he watched. Must be salty.
Thought he summed things up pretty well tbh. There seems to be a bit of discussion regarding the free kick award, but it was a clear pull back on Thompson by Clucas.

Comments from Spiderpuss: "do one". Sadly a player that sums up the modern era and what we saw in the Chelsea side last night. Tattoos and hair-dos but little else. Makes you appreciate the Salah's and Bellingham's of the world doesn't it.Some of today's players are so bloody vane. When they walk out on the pitch,I sometimes ask myself "Am I at a football match or a fashion parade"

I blame the bloke who signed him, and the people who sanctioned the deal. You didn't have to even scratch the surface to find out what kind of character this waster had. Yep! Due diligence was sorely lacking in this instance,to the point of negligence.

I’d dock him a point for keeping Wesley on the pitch for as long as he did. The plan was to stay in the game which we did for 80 mins until their 3rd goal so it’s a solid 7.5/10 from me….. I'd agree mate but as static as Wes is he had more movement in him than Mmaee. Mmaee was dreadful today.

If the only alternative is Johnson for the Rotherham game then he needs to start….. It’ll be Thompson if anyone. Gooch and Stevens maybe back too? Neither will be available on Saturday according to the manager.

Watched it on telly… he was about a yard off and only because of how he was leaning. Pity. A yard off?? What replay have you seen that shows that? He looked easily level to me Match highlights on YouTube he looked off.My mate who was pretty much in line said he was off also.

Yeah seriously, he’s made one howler and that was the Swansea equaliser when he misjudged a cross and got caught under the ball….. Yep but he's produced some great saves. The Swans game was won until Pearson did his usual lazy leg out but doesn't take away from the mistake Would have been mitigated if there had been a defender on the post.Poor defending all round. Was a shocking misjudgment all the same.

Bardsley stands out like a sore thumb in this list. Yeah, I know. But he was still better than many gave him credit for; I felt back then we’d have been better keeping him than Glen Johnson, who only gave us half a decent season. How about: Huth was immobile and getting too old? That was a favourite complaint, much to Leicester’s benefit. Getting rid of Bardsley over Johnson was a ridiculous decision.I said it at the time and mention it every time our relegation season is mentioned.Really can't understand the rationale behind it.

Get a new left back in January and play Gooch at right back? I'd rather have Junior at right back and Gooch on the right wing. Gooch isn't a left back despite doing a decent job there, but Hoever certainly isn't the answer in any position at the back. I think we need another left back as Stevens is unable to play too many games to be the one to rely on. Personally as things stand I would switch hoover and Junior. If we can get a decent left back in.(not had one since Pieter's)then you have a point.

agree, once Junior came on we looked far more dangerous That said he's OK as a utility fill in type player, bit of a Danny Pugh Pugh was an ok footballer though. Pugh was an excellent player, unfortunately shackled by his lack of pace.

Thought he was excellent again today mate.Liked the way he went back and booked Bartley for a foul on Mmaee,a minute or so after the offence, after playing an advantage. I am agreeing with you but thought one key decision he got wrong was not booking Bartley for a very clear pull back in the first half, after which he would not have been able to cynically foul Mmaee in the 2nd - or at least would have been sent off. Generally thought better than what we have seen all season. Missed that tbh.Just think he has generally been a breath of fresh air over the usual crowd of card happy, inconsistent, look at me knobs we usually see.

It’s the 3rd time in last 7 weeks we’ve had Mr Kitchen and I have to say in general he’s done pretty well in all 3 games. Boro a Blackburn h WBA a I predict a promotion to Select Group 1 the way he’s going at the end of the season Thought he was excellent again today mate.Liked the way he went back and booked Bartley for a foul on Mmaee,a minute or so after the offence, after playing an advantage.

He’s not a wing back He was knackered for most of 2nd half He moans an awful lot about anything and everything I like him and he should start at full back, left or right side. Total fuck up playing him at wing back.Hoover,if he had to be on the pitch, should have switched with Tchamadeu.Has he been injured or just out of favour, because he hasn't featured at all since the international break? Looked out of condition and was blowing like a race horse after ten minutes. He has never let us down at fullback and it's baffling to see him being shoe horned into a position totally alien to him.

I rated Hughes very highly till he allowed Huth to go that one thing did it for me as Shawcross was never the same player. In hindsight Huth had the last laugh by going on to win the league with Leicester. Keeping the ageing and spent Glen Johnson and getting rid of Bardsley instead.Absolutely ridiculous decision,

He was utter dogshit today. He's lightweight (jibs out of every challenge), got no touch, no pace, no trickery, can't cross and today he stopped doing the only thing he's done well regularly, winning headers. But other than that he was class. Having said all that he wasn't even our worst player. Stevens, Mmaee and Clark share that honour. Mind you had they been on longer I'm certain Hoever and Wesley would have been vying for bottom spot. Two of the worst cameo performances I've seen for a long while. Neil's game management is awful. He waits forever to change things, and then conspires to make us even shitier with his replacements.Absolutely fuckin clueless.

Had a bloke drop a car off this evening at work in which I went out to him & asked if he was living the dream. He replied “not anymore mate but I used to be a professional footballer”. Obviously I started to quiz him on who he played for, position etc & told him that I’m a st holder down Stoke. He named West Ham, Bournemouth, Reading, Swindon & also Nothern Ireland in which I was straight on google. Also said that he was a prolific goal scorer back in the 90’s & remembers scoring against Stoke. He’s off to West Ham on Sunday to watch them play palace but also said that he gets to the odd Stoke game. I was wondering if anyone on here remembers him as I would have only been a young kid when he was playing. Also, Was he as good as he says? He went on to say if he could fast forward 30 years, he would be a millionaire now. It’s mind boggling how money has changed in football, He is now out delivering cars all over the country. Yes used to play against him regularly in the late 70s.He used to play for Whitchurch when I was at Alsager Town. Was very good in the air and could hold the ball up well.Wasn’t the quickest but knew where the net was.The league was full of ex pros and young players going up through the leagues.

Pulled off 2 great saves last night but few mention them as it goes against their agenda. He's the least of our problems, he is what he is, an average keeper but not as awful as many go out their way to make out. He really isn't the least of our problems is he? Not having a decent goalkeeper has been one of our main issues for a good few years now. Not having a decent keeper certainly haven’t been the issue this season. We are incredibly inconsistent and have a team that lacks any identity. The keeper position certainly hasn’t been a negative since Bonham has come in for the last half dozen games, where we could have got ourselves on the fringes of the play offs it wasn’t for our hopeless performances in the last 3 games.

As predicted by many, Cardiff was another shit show and we were lucky not to lose. Just like last season’s brief resurgence, we have turned back into rat shit. His record remains appalling. I still think he needs to go, but I accept that isn’t going to happen this side of Christmas. If at all. I’m so numb to this endless crap now that I’m starting not to really care. It's a lot easier that way believe me.Long gone are the days when the weekend was ruined by Stokes performances.

I'm old enough to have seen him play and what a player he was, but I've always been confused as to why he didn't really become a regular for a while and we signed him in 1967 when he was 21. My memory is that certainly in the early 70s, it was Eric Skeels who would have been the next defensive midfielder if Bernard was injured or unavailable. For the older fans, can anyone shed any light on why JM took so long to hold down a place? Edit: I've just checked and it seems he got quite a few games in earlier seasons but I don't remember...I started going in 1970 as a kid so I guess time has wiped my powers of recall!! I remember watching him when he was at Crewe,I think he was 19 at the time and he stood out like sore thumb, such was his class.

You know if i was a Stoke youngster playing in the under 21 seeing that we are now playing midfield players at CH and bringing in old property unfit players on loan I'd probably think I HAVE NO FUTURE HERE and walk away,if i can't get in the team now I never will Surely a young player playing in his regular position has got to be better than what we are doing now Even our u21 centre backs are crocked apparently.

The trouble is, it sells. The state of our media says as much about us as a country as it does about the media itself. If it didn't shift papers or get clicks they wouldn't write it. Spot on Mr Roar. Sadly that stuff, No mark from Hollyoaks peels off on the beach Love Island etc is what their readers want The fact that the Sun has by far the biggest circulation in the country,is a damming indictment on the intelligence of our populace.
