They were also behind the team led by the hapless MON in the table as well. Cracking. Come on Dave he certainly wasn’t hapless was he🤔Your lack of enjoyment of all things Stoke City at the moment seems to be really affecting you judging by your posts on here and Twitter. As I’ve said to you before(which you don’t agree with) we’ve been in far worse positions/seasons than this so I really can’t share your pessimistic view Lack of enjoyment of all things stoke city??? I enjoy going to the pub pre match! I enjoy elements of Tyrese Campbell and much of Harry Souttar. What else is there? Oh yeah I forgot…we came from behind twice to draw with Rotherham who are now without a win in 10…ironically since they beat us. Marvellous stuff! What else is there to enjoy?

I see that we’ve played 3 of the worst teams in the league, have won only once and somehow managed to fall behind to each of them. I’m not sure there is anything worth praising, moderate or otherwise. The “not his team” myth is being busted by the novice manager at Boro and the new man at wba. Boro are by far the best team to come to Stoke this season in my opinion, they murdered us in a 2-2 draw. For some reason it didn’t work for Wilder but let’s not kid ourselves that their set of players were none other than very decent.Carrick is doing a good job along with Corberan at the Albion so far but let’s see where all 3 teams end the season before we can judge the job Neil has done They were also behind the team led by the hapless MON in the table as well. Cracking.

The 3 sides are no worse than at least 20 of the 24 sides Neither are we If you can't recognise a little bit of battling when we haven't had any at all for ages seems really sad. When did I mention 'not his team'? I wasn't campaigning for AN was merely contesting your statements If people can't say one aspect of a particular match was relatively pleasing without that being suggested as 'a turning point' is depressing Are we back to only being allowed to say everything is 'wank'? You can say and think whatever you like. I’m glad your opinion can find something to be positive about. I’m just simply not seeing it myself. If you don’t think it’s wank that is perfectly fine. I think it’s wank and that’s absolutely fine as well. 👍

Loads seem happy that we’ve come back from behind in 3 consecutive games. Many describe evidence of s new found resilience. The manager seems to think we are playing well. Me…I’ve seen little that could be described as being any better than “abject”. Coming from behind in successive games after so long without doing so is a good thing fullstop. I've seen loads recognise this a step in the right direction re resilience, surely it's a reasonable body of evidence to say one aspect has improved Not seen anyone describe as a turning point or plucky Some moderate praise for some moderate improvement is all it is I see that we’ve played 3 of the worst teams in the league, have won only once and somehow managed to fall behind to each of them. Huddersfield beating Rotherham easily yet we are somehow supposed to believe that our plucky boxing point having come from a goal behind is some kind of turning point in our fortunes and a “good performance”. Forgive me for not really buying into this rather strange view. Who described it a turning point? Who described it as plucky? First half was a good performance Given the Championship this season comparing one match to another one is even dafter than usual Loads seem happy that we’ve come back from behind in 3 consecutive games. Many describe evidence of s new found resilience. The manager seems to think we are playing well. Me…I’ve seen little that could be described as being any better than “abject”.

What was fabulous about it? Asking as a person who can’t be arsed to watch it 👍 Just a renewed and refreshing honesty and answers full of vim and vigor. To be honest, if I was his wife I'd stay well away from him tonight... 😉 He lives near me. I hope they keep the noise down 😂

If it’s 5 at back it’s surely Clarke, Wilmot, Souttar, Fox, Tymon I rate Taylor more than Wilmot, but I guess most people will agree with your choice. I’d go for Wilmot’s extra mobility. If Souttar can’t do the wide centre half role effectively, Taylor has little chance of doing so

Back in 2017 I wrote to stoke saying a couple of young lads were well worth a look. Both were on loan from premier league clubs in the lower leagues. Josh Cullen (on loan at Bradford from West Ham) Ivan Toney (on loan at Scunthorpe from Newcastle) I’m surprised it’s taken Cullen so long to come through in truth. He looked a really good prospect back then. Edit - Tymon wouldn’t be starting over Fox at left back in my preferred 11. Good eye for a player then sometimes😊Was Cullen with Kompany at Anderlecht? I believe so yes (re Cullen)

Well a back 3 leaves us massively exposed to their strength so my guess is that is what the hapless Neil will opt for. I can hardly wait Watching them now it looks Cullen pulls the strings and they feed Benson and Zouhary constantly.A back four with Tymon up against either frightens me to death Back in 2017 I wrote to stoke saying a couple of young lads were well worth a look. If we are going to continue with five at the back and Sterling still injured I'll pick this team! ..........................Bonham........................... .............Taylor......Souttar.......Fox................. Clarke.............Baker.........Thompson.............Tymon .........................Smallbone......................... ..................Campbell......Brown...................... Subs: Bursik, Wilmot, Jags, Powell, Killkenny, Fosu, Delap. With four at the back I'd pick this starting 11! .........................Bonham............................ Wilmot............Taylor........Souttar..............Fox Clarke............Baker.........Thompson.............Fosu .................Campbell.......Brown..................... Sterling in at right back when fit, but he seems to be made of glass! If it’s 5 at back it’s surely Clarke, Wilmot, Souttar, Fox, Tymon

Rowett and Jones needed sacking as soon as they didn't use this genius. Yes it was madness as there was a rush of other clubs after him and he has performed wonders elsewhere ever since. He’s done well in Japan which if the World Cup is anything to go by, is a decent standard above the shite we watch each week.

I’m not a fan of him at all. A modern day Andy Cooke. I think players like Cooke, Brown and Jonny Walters are often underrated by many fans, but less so by the professional managers Quite possibly. It seems those managers who appear to make such players their “main man” end up getting sacked sooner than they may otherwise have been

This place is going soft. Can’t believe I’ve hardly seen a comment about Browns miss from barely a yard out. That lad is absolutely useless. But of a daft post in all honesty. All as this shows is us, as stoke fans, are fucking idiots! With posts like this do you blame Tyrese for cupping his ears? He’s had dogs abuse as well! I don’t blame Ty at all as you will see if you look at the thread about that very thing

Bonham has been ok last couple of games but I’d like to think a good keeper would actually stop “situations” that lead to us conceding soft goals.
Crossley, Sorensen, Asmir types help get the team organised as well as being bloody good keepers.
We need a good keeper desperately.

It looked more difficult to get it over the bar than score but he was racing in at pace and stretching to make contact with a ball which was coming across at pace. Not like the kind of miss where a player has time to control the ball or pick their spot. It happens. I don't think most stokies would agree that Jacob is 'absolutely useless', Dave. Whether wing back is the best use of him is another debate. I’m not a fan of him at all. A modern day Andy Cooke.

Strange. I thought him and Campbell were our best players by miles yesterday (though granted he might have been closer to stop the cross for their 2nd) yet I see both being criticised for their performance.
I’m not sure he lost a header all game and he got beat once that I can recall by their wide player.
Biggest criticism I’d have of H yesterday was that his passing was a bit off.

Doesn’t bode well for the decent ones coming up , indeed to paraphrase the late Bill McLaren ‘there could be dancing in the streets of Hartlepool first weekend in January let alone Burnley and Preston ‘😉 We do have some tough games coming up. Can’t see much coming from Burnley or Sheffield so Preston is a big game. We are far too close to the drop zone for comfort certainly. We’ll fare ok against the better teams. I’d fancy us away at sheff United more than I would v Preston at home

Just a quick one re Ty’s performance today. I’ve just exchanged a few messages with a Rotherham player that I’ve come to know and he said Ty was a nightmare to play against. Lightening quick and really strong.

I said I wasn't going respond on this board for a week as there's way too much club, player and manager slagging, but I have to respond to this. If he's heard any of that then he should have done more than cup his ears. I bet those that few youth clubbers that said it were that pissed that when he scored minutes later they couldn't even remember abusing his and looking stupid for it. I bet they players hearing, reading or hearing about things like this and other comments to players make them really feel like running through a brick wall when they play, not. I think it's pretty obvious he hasn't heard it to be fair. Id be surprised, in this day and age if someone didn't say anything to the wanker or wankers shouting that kind of shit. The front rows are filled by old people, disabled people or people with young kids in the main. Difficult for such people to confront pissed up/drugged up idiots

Todays away support was no different to home support. Quiet, frustrated, angry with audible boos and outright abuse of certain players

What lines were crossed and when? Let's see if you get an answer, because I didn't A few minutes before he scored he clearly heard some of the abuse being sent in his direction. A few examples for you; You lazy piece of shit You lazy black bastard (that wasn’t the only reference to the colour of his skin either) Did you have your leg amputated you useless prick Just fuck off out of the club in January you useless twat Aah, Tye, is your knee still hurting (in a mocking baby like voice) followed by “what the fuck has that pussy still got strapping on his knee for” This was all coming from the front 5 rows of block 3/4 and was on top of audible boos 3 or 4 times when he was involved in passages of play that came to nothing.

He did play well. The stick he was getting was ridiculous The bar is a ridiculously low one if you think Campbell played well today mate. What stick was he getting? Genuine question as I wasn't there and was watching on a stream. He gave it away sloppily a couple of times and he missed a good chance. He was still the only one to cause them any problems, he scored, I’m pretty sure it was him that win the corner that led to our 2nd goal. He was involved in pretty much anything positive we did. The sticks he’s getting is ridiculous and today crossed several lines at times.

That’s disappointing mate because it looked to me like he had a good game again. I’ve been impressed with him since the resumption. I would watch the footage before being disappointed because I cant see how anyone could be remotely disappointed about any aspect of it. What's the problem? I don’t need to watch the footage. I was right in front of him and I’m not remotely disappointed in him. The stick he was getting was laughable and the abuse minutes before he scored was disgusting. He’d clearly heard some of what was being said. I’m completely disillusioned with Stoke at the moment. It’s bad enough watching the shit we call football but sitting among the absolute cesspit that is a large swathe of our supporter base is even worse.
