Only my opinion but I wish both the fa and carabo cup had a rule in place that up until the quarter final stage, any Premier league team has to play their fixture away from home against any lower league team. whether they were drawn out of the hat at home it automatically switches that they play that tie away from home.
Would bring a lot more interest making ties more evenly balanced. and bump up the gate receipts of clubs who need it the most.

Personally, I’d much prefer to talk some sense into Mr Baker and keep him. There’s a really excellent player in there as we have seen many times in the past. A fully fit and focused Baker can only be a good thing surely. If we start to camp outside teams boxes more then he would be a very useful player to spank the ball in the back of the net from distance, although having seen Laurent and Burgers goals it looks like we may already have enough of that in the team. But it doesn't even come down to that now does it? He's burned his bridges and needs to go. I must of missed something. What's he done to have burnt his bridges. |

Statistics. There were stats passed around before that he was by the most creative player from that part of the pitch in the championship and that was when we were shit. He has off days but he’s dangerous more often than not. I’d bet if he goes to Leeds or Swansea, he’ll have hoever on toast and be the difference maker Hopefully we'll have a midfielder who can pass the ball into the huge space tyman leaves behind him while off on his runs up the wing. Then our forwards can capitalise on tymans poor defending as loads of the opposition teams have done against us when he's played for us the last 3 seasons. |

Yeah it was clear it his the post to everyone but the radio stoke commentator who said it hit Leris 🤣 so I think the only ones blaming him are the ones who listened to the radio. He was in no way at fault for that. He even repeats it when he interviews AN in P&G. Has he not even looked at the replays. Defensively he's not good enough.
How often have we seen an opposition midfielder pass the ball to the space tymon is meant to be for their strikers to run onto and pull our defence out of shape.
He just hasn't improved the awareness and positioning he needs for a top six team.
Good luck to him if he goes to Leeds to be aylings understudy

It took about 3 games of jaden philogenes loan spell with us before teams double marked him.....he barely made any contribution after that. Wasn't fussed re him at all to be honest. Don't think he'd be one I would be going out to get They did, it stopped his threat, he rarely played fir us again. |

Stevens has been a wingback for most of his career but don't let facts get in the way. Well I wasn't really aware of that, I thought he was mainly a full-back, but then again, I don't claim to be a Stato.... Personally, I didn't even know who he was until he came Stoke, which can be said for virtually the entire squad!!! However, that said.... I think a younger more energetic wing-back (Tymon) would be more ideal to be playing the wing-back position than a aged one (in football terms)!!! That's just my way of thinking though, for what it's worth!!! Have seen tyman at lwb for the last few seasons. Every opposition team drops a ball into the space where tyman is meant to be and we get caught out every time down his left hand side. Give Stevens a chance hopefully his positioning is better than tyman. We also dont need Stevens bombing up and down as we have hoever on the right side. Stevens can sit on and lock that side up freeing hoever up to attack. |

Disappointed to be honest agree with the onlooker he’s shit the bed and reverted back to 3-5-2 honestly thought we’d seen the end of it. Sends out the message that we’re settling for a point to me hope I’m wrong. I've got no issues with the system per se. Got a big issue with a manager bringing in 11 players specifically for 433, where it clearly needs time to gel. Then swapping it out as soon as we get a beating. What did he expect? With a patience that thin he could post on here. He'd fit right in. He's put huge pressure on himself and the team here. To be honest I think the manager has said he's tried to bring players in who can play in various ways to beat differing styles of teams in this league bot just for one formation in particular. |
