It's also totally wrong to call the manager a wanker as Bayern did because he didn't like the managers view. He then reiterated his view today following a victory for a stoke team picked by AN.
Let's leave it there, eh.

Suit yourself but I’ve never heard a Stoke fan saying they want their team to lose or read it on the Oatcake, we’ve all been though the pain of supporting Stoke for too many years, the highs and, of course, the absolute lows. The last 6-7 years have been an absolute shit show considering the riches this club has so it’s no surprise that passions are high and questions are more than asked. The key is passion and whether you want Neil or not, the passion for Stoke rings loud, true and clear on this board. I'm quite sure the negative small group on this forum which I'm talking about don't go around wearing shirts saying I want stoke to lose. And I'm sure you've never heard a stoke fan saying they want stoke to lose..but as I said in my earlier posts, and I'll say it again for you. I do wonder with the same few being so negative about everything stoke city, Alex Neil etc, the impression I get is that their only happy when stoke lose so they can moan some more about stoke.. Some peoples attitude/comments towards stoke is unbelievably negative I do wonder if they are really stoke fans...maybe they are and I'm wrong, but the attitude of a few led by Bayern, pugsley is nothing short of pathetic.

I think it understandable that people question Neil and his line ups at times considering his record to date but I’ve seen no real abuse of players an Neil and as for people willing Stoke to lose to support their views, that’s absolute nonsense. I saw no abuse of Neil or players before the game kicked off, just questions about the team he picked and players who have been poor lately still being picked. Everyone I know and from what I’ve read were very happy with the win regardless of their view of the manager. There's no abuse from the terraces I agree, just 1 or 2 on here who think their view is the majority view. It was these few who my comments are directed atand not the vast majority of fans. I agree to question any line up but to instantly call people wankers and call for them to be sacked aa soon as ghe line up is announced is unnecessary especially after a great win on Saturday. I stick by my comment that I think a few on here actually want stoke to lose so they can feel justification in their 100% negative attitude to everything stoke.

Hyperthetically of course.....but if AN starts the same team v boro as he did last night, and says they've earned their place on merit...what would your reaction be?
Or do some still call for junior, junho, and haks to be brought in above Thompson, Johnson, and Leris?

No just a post from someone who gives the team selection a chance and looks at why certain players are picked over others instead of instantly jumping up and down screaming abuse at the manager and certain players because someone's been picked you don't agree with.. Or don't want to think about why certain players are brought in to do certain jobs. There's a negative little group on here who never fail to show up at team announcement time.. to tell us they know better and the manager should be sacked because he thinks differently to them, they hope purely for a stoke defeat so they can continue there crusade against all things stoke.. if we win its despite of the tactics not because of the tactics.. truly is embarrassing and pathetic to hear the same people making themselves look like tits every week. If people can't be positive after last 2 games and see goings are starting to look up then really football isn't for you and there's a bar stool waiting for you in some sad little pub. It’s nothing of the sort, it’s just people’s opinions and the board is better for it, if everybody thought the same the board would be as flat as a pancake. It’s about passion and wanting the best for the club after 6 years of dross, which includes last year under Neil. Reading “rate the manager” I’ve seen various posters who criticised the line up hold their hands up and say Neil got it right. I would include myself in that. Everybody wants yhe best for stoke but when it Instantly becomes abuse to manager and player because they dont like the line up or a particular player..you then have yo question some peoples agenda. Question things yes... but remain supportive. Not almost willing a stoke defeat so you can be proved right. Abusing the manager and players before a ball is kicked is not supporting your team. Continuing the abuse even after a victory, isnt supporting stoke. Its negative miserable doom mongering.

Your a sad voice being outnumbered by pro about 19k last night.

I question if some on here are actually stoke supporters.. They criticise the starting line up. Slam JT for being called in to do a job...which he did very well.. Slam, abuse and demand the manager should be sacked..so we have to start the reset from scratch again!! Claim we would of lost if they scored the penalty..ifs, but and maybe. State they never want to see JT play at lb again...even though tactically it worked last night, and helped us to claim a victory keeping ES fresh for the 3rd game in a week. 12 hrs later there still moaning about AN. Still abusing him.. Some of you truly are pathetic who look purely for opportunity to run down the club, manager and players....why you waste your time and money going to the games is beyond me..please do everybody a favour find a pub sit in a corner sipping on a halfpint and take your miserable attitudes somewhere else Love a happy clapping holier than thou post. Indeed it did. Doesn’t change my opinion that it’s a baffling decision. As baffling as some find it, we all have to agree that last night it was the winning decision.

Don't think the starting 11 is that bad really.. It's the same starters bar Stevens who played and beat Sunderland.. if as he says he picks on merit, then that's what he's done - he's stuck with the winning starters from Saturday.
How many of those players would have felt aggrieved to have been dropped from the starting line up tonight..
This is a top championship team in Leeds who I think will finish on the top2. If he'd thrown junior and junho in and they get overrun he would of been crucified and criticised for playing youngsters with little experience. Their time will come but tonight with our fragile confidence and Leeds flying high is not the game for wholesale changes.

If his head is in the right place, absolutely, the Laurent position for sure, sadly I think both won't be here beyond the next window. Nail hit firmly on head for both Baker and laurent...If their head is in the right place.

Junior at RB with Hoever in front I prefer Hoever further forward, yep. Pearson a worry for me of late. Not been impressed with him at all. Can see us getting completely over run in midfield here. They're on a real bounce at the minute and look a good side Pearson was holding his hamstring more than once in the last 10 minutes yesterday. Can see him missing Wednesdays game.

It’ll be used in August and September and the people will complain it’s out in the open and open to the elements along with not enough bar staff, prices, queues too big etc etc You know it’s coming Typical Stoke to create an outdoor venue with no roof or more importantly wind breakers against the winter weather. Clueless JC again playing at being a football chairman....just so amateur.

Sorry lads I see no green shoots at all. We are in a mess. We have punted 18 signings, hit with 3 seemingly Junior, vidi and maybe Bae Awful awful hit rate. We look dead and buried to me. We rolled the dice and ended up going straight to jail. Fml Add junior, Travers, burger and in time mmae to the hit list. 7 from 18 is probably the average hit score fir most clubs. Players who come for free are free for a reason, we needed so many some came in as squad fillers only.

The club have gone down the exact direction a cabal of posters have been urging for years - a technical director and a head of recruitment. Now another cabal are urging another change in direction. Too much change in my humble opinion. This 'cabal' of posters were asking for a top down approach, club driven and not another cosy club constructed by a manager. Who did you want to construct it, if not the manager. Maybe the chairman JC himself? Maybe a CEO like Scholes appointed by JC...Oh wait! We've seen the results of that approach. Or maybe a technical director again appointed by JC given free reign to appoint whoever he chose, We asked for radical change - we got radical change. Results currently aren't good enough, this was the risk of what this season was going to becomes. Hopefully things will improve soon including an injured list that would cripple the majority of championship clubs.

More importantly, why do european teams have armies of young lads following them home and away creating amazing noise, and we’ve got mainly over 50 year olds sitting silent. Not just us but the whole of English football. The psg support at Newcastle tonight is emphatic. Maybe the over 50's have had their time and now it's time for the so called youngsters to step up and create some new songs for this generation of players.. Us over 50's were there in the 90's when in our 20's... there was no trouble with not having new songs to sing then. Even in the 2nd division days the songs were new and created a great atmosphere.. It's time for this generation to step up!!

Pretty much rules us all out of having an opinion doesn't it Kev? Football punditry in general is dog shit regardless of gender. Alan Shearer gets paid thousands of licence fee payers money to point out that Johnny Tugshirt lost his marker at a corner or that Micky Springheels should have curved his run to stay onside. We can see that Alan. Very good. You've earned your wedge this week son. Worse, Gary Lineker gets paid millions to prompt people like Alan to spout this super insightful shite that One Eyed Boozy Barry from down The Dog and Duck could have pointed out for free. Football needs to learn from Cricket where the segments between the actual sporting action are infinitely more interesting. Or look at some of the YouTube channels knocking about. I'd sooner listen to hours of something like Under the Cosh than listen to Alan and Gary's beige, inoffensive and witless nonsense. Women on the gantry is not the issue. It's the bland as fuck punditry that is served up week after week after mind numbing week. Totally agree. The smugness of the dull brothers during their Saturday night love in is the major reason I don't bother with motd now.. plenty other options to catchup on the Premier league than those 2 dullards

And why during the women's world Cup was only 1 man [ the manager of arsenal women] invited to be part of the commentary or studio team..
Equality goes both ways..

There is no way that the game will or should be replayed, but this mistake cannot be compared to refereeing mistakes of years gone by, this is a catastrophic failing of a system that shouldn't ever fail, and the release of the "tapes" of what went on in that VAR area could see legal proceedings being taken as it shows the PGMOL up for what they are, a bunch of unprofessional clowns who aren't fit for purpose. Put yourselves in the shoes of a Liverpool fan, we all, and quite rightly so would be apoplectic in rage if that happened to our team. I can only stand and applaud you my friend, anyone who would dare use the word apoplectic on an oatcake discussion is worthy of respect. I salute you Vincentvega
