Norrington Davies and who else?. Not sure I was that impressed by ND though?. I certainly wouldn't mind Norrington Davies back! A very good defender in my opinion.

Campbell looks very clumsy when he receives the ball with his back to the goal, but his accelration is very good and will give him opportunities when one on one. If he only could be better at holding the ball up and compete for balls in the air he could be the player we hoped he would be. If only he was 6ft6 he'd score on all those long high balls the defenders keep hoofing towards him, despite the fact that they must know he's afraid of the ball coming to his handsome head...but it's always his fault, not the long ball merchants. Campbell is the player he is, there's much to admire about him. Try looking at his positives! Problem is that if he can't improve on holding the ball up I'm not sure we can play him in the middle of a 3. He might be better used as a winger then, but then he needs to improve his endurance as well.

I’ve edited my post above. Is there any chance of Bjorkan, berg or Hauge? Who...? All 3 are Bodø Glimt players. I'd really like to see Bjørkan here as he is a very decent left back and also good going forward. Berg is a good player, but I don't think we should spend money on that kind of player with Pearson, Burger and Thompson able to play in that position. Hauge was very promising a couple of years ago when Rome bought him, but I sort of feel he has stalled a bit. I would rather have a player like Dembele at Birmingham if possible. I also like Bodø Glimt's central defender Gundersen a lot as he could be the central defender Norway have been looking for.

I feel sorry for JK but not for Salah or Liverpool. JK should have stood down when the announcement was made, and he would have been mentioned in the final annals right next to Shankly. At first the eulogies were great, but the players have stopped playing for him, and now he will be remembered as the manager who failed in all competitions. I can see them becoming the next Manure...can't see Slot doing much for them, and he will be gone within a year or two. Then they'll appoint Gerrard and he will be a disaster as their manager. Then they'll appoint anyone to get them out of trouble, maybe even a Dyche type of manager. Failed in all competitions? He’s won every single trophy that he could possibly win at Liverpool bar the Europa cup and he would of completed that had Seville not beaten them in the final Failed in all competitions is not what he’ll be remembered for in years to come Fantastic manager who unfortunately made Liverpool a great team again!

Thought their right winger and Smallbone stood out as their best players! Their right winger was really impressive I thought.

Junior has got the pace over the first yards which makes it hard to get past him. Hoever is quick over distance, but remarkably slow over the first 4-5 yards. Which do you need if you are up in attack and lose possession though? I just have a picture in my mind of a match, can't remember the opponents, when there was a counter attack from which the opposition scored and Junior was just about in our half when they did. I remember that when he lost the ball in midfield as an inverted right back. Hoever did something similar the game before, but he was just outside our penalty box!

Surely the footballing authorities have to do something about the hands on faces and falling to the floor, often with a roll. 3 players in the QPR game tonight have done it, following the lightest of glances or knocks. It’s embarrassing. Should be carded after the games at least! Players falling to the ground holding their heads for something a toddler wouldn't blink at is ridiculous!

Defensively Junior is a much better player than Hoever from what I've seen, but as said he must be given a more traditional role, not that inverted shit! I haven't seen that. Junior seems far happier attacking than defending and doesn't at the moment offer the thread that Hoever does in attack. We'd be stupid to rely on him to be our no1 right back. Junior has got the pace over the first yards which makes it hard to get past him. Hoever is quick over distance, but remarkably slow over the first 4-5 yards.

1. We win and can't be caught by 3 teams. 2. Huddersfield beat Birmingham and 3 teams can't catch us. 3. WBA win and 3 teams can't catch us. 4. We get a point and Sheffield get just a point, 3 teams can't catch us. 5. We get a point and Birmingham get just a point, 3 teams can't catch us. Hopefully at least one of these things goes our way today!

With Junior and Gooch on our books we should spend our money elsewhere and not on another right back! A left back on the other hand..... If I never saw Lynden Gooch play for Stoke again, I'd be very happy and I'm far from convinced re Junior who looks more like an athlete than a footballer to me. Hoever is infinitely superior to them both, despite his faults. Defensively Junior is a much better player than Hoever from what I've seen, but as said he must be given a more traditional role, not that inverted shit!

With Junior and Gooch on our books we should spend our money elsewhere and not on another right back! A left back on the other hand..... I don't agree. We need 2 Left backs for starters and one of them should not be Enda Stevens. In regards to the RB position. Junior is unproven and I don't think is ready for a 46+ game season. Gooch is a useful utility player but I don't particularly rate him highly in any specific position, nevermind RB. So personally, I think we do need a RB but obviously not highest priority when we are desperate for 2 LBs, 2 CBs, a Keeper and a new starting striker. I'd play Junior without any doubt, but of course you can have another opinion on this. I really like what I've seen from him so far, he only needs to learn his position better and be given the right back/right wing back role, not that inverted shit that we don't have the players for!

Fuller on his day was an attack on his own, we haven't seen many players like him since. Arnie possibly the closest one I think. Arnie was 3 times the player Fuller was n I loved Fuller🔴⚪️ I loved Arnie, but Fuller had this magic like nobody else in our kit for the last 30 years in my opinon!

Time after time inferior teams are able to nick a win due to good defending, just like Everton did yesterday. Who aspires to be inferior? And it's still no blueprint for success, just being the grit in someones shoe. Liverpool or Everton it's an easy choice for anyone sane. The better team didn't win because the inferior team defended well. It's like Burnley who walked this division last year are trying to outplay the other PL teams who have better players in almost every position. Dyche made it possible to stay up by playing Pulis-ball as we did.

Goalkeeper: One of Travers, Iversen, Johansson in that priority. Left back: At least a steady one with pace able to compete one on one. Central defence: Coady and Souttar (we need both) Midfield: Depends on who are leaving, but not in the same need here as other positions. Winger: With pace, able to beat his man regularly. Striker: Assante ....................Iversen................... Junior........Souttar......Coady.......New.. .........Pearson...............Burger........ Manhoef..............Bae...............new... .....................New..................... I’d be surprised if 4-2-3-1 was to be his main system. It's mine!

Most Italian world cup winners. Greece when they won the Euroes, there are so many examples out there. Yeah they're all ages ago. Time after time inferior teams are able to nick a win due to good defending, just like Everton did yesterday.

Sorry to keep harping on but what do you think Fuller's record for us was? It was 43 in 182 appearances or 1 goal every 4.2 games. Not a whole lot better although in his defence he did play at least two thirds of those games in the Premier. Until this season though Campbell's scoring record hasn't been bad. But what I saw, last Saturday was a player whose confidence is completely shot. He would have scored at least two when he was full of confidence. If SS can get his confidence back up I think he's probably better than anyone we could sign. And yes I have thought he's looked totally ineffective this season but I have always said that hasn't been because he doesn't care for the club. I never mentioned Fuller - I thought we were discussing Campbell. As you say, though, Fuller had a better scoring record and played two thirds of his games against the best sides in the country Fuller on his day was an attack on his own, we haven't seen many players like him since. Arnie possibly the closest one I think.

Problem is that it's harder to score goals than to stop them. Doesn't seem to be if you look at almost any league table. Who were the last team to achieve anything significant that were really good defensively but didn't score many? Most Italian world cup winners. Greece when they won the Euroes, there are so many examples out there.

Junior is by far the better defender of the two, but Hoever is better going forward. Anyway, if we stop conceding stupid goals we might not need to rely on fullbacks scoring that many. I'd much prefer to watch a free scoring team than an exceptional defensive one. Problem is that it's harder to score goals than to stop them.

I am not sure we have evidence Junior is a better defender. He is not good at anticipating danger eg Leicester away, gets caught out of position like Cardiff and gets booked for reckless tackles eg Watford. I have also heard from several sources the plan for opponents is to let him have the ball as his technique and decision-making in possession are poor. As yet, we couldn’t rely on him fir a season. He is hard to beat one on one, Hoever isn't.

We've got a young man named Junior who's our player and in my opinion will be better than him, and hasn't cost a fortune. That's a matter of taste Junior has power and physicality. Hoever is a far better technical player probably better than Junior will ever be. He suffers from occasional mental aberrations that maturity will minimise. At some stage he's going to have to take a step backward to try to move forward again in terms of his career and earning potential. It would be great if it was here. We've not seen a lot of Junior since the AFCON but what we did see was pretty ropey to put it mildly. Junior is by far the better defender of the two, but Hoever is better going forward. Anyway, if we stop conceding stupid goals we might not need to rely on fullbacks scoring that many.
