As too many of our players he lacks pace and physical presence, some got the physical presence but lacks the pace, Vidigal lacks both assets unfortunately.

We didn't play well, but still I feel the ref cost us. With 1-1 at the break and a free kick instead of a penalty in the second half I think we could have got something from this game.

I get the feeling the squad is a bit stretched. Certainly there were a few hobbling off at full time yesterday. Itās doubtful that Stevens will be risked, and Junior is at least a week away so we could be looking at: Iversen Hoever Rose McNally Thompson Burger Cundle/Baker Laurent Leris Junho Ennis No Cundle please!

.....and our most prolific goalscorer has...? I would of course prefer HĆ„land, but I doubt we will be able to tempt him here! just because heās got more than our useless lot does not mean he good enough for what we need I really struggle to see us attract better strikers than him right now to be honest, and he certainly will be an upgrade with his workrate and pace. Exactly the player we should have had this season to stay out of this relegation dogfight!

Hoever......McNally..........Rose......Thompson .....................Burger................... ...........Laurent..........Baker............. Leris....ā¦ā¦ā¦.....Ennis.............Bae... Ennisās work rate is excellent but as a footballer I have grave concerns. Manhoef was our star player yesterday in my opinion and needs to play. Ennis might be a better choice than Campbell as you know what you get, something we never do with Campbell. I could also be tempted to try Leris up top as he is great in the air and very good at holding the ball up. I know square pegs in round holes etc., but I actually think he could be a better choice than both Ennis and Campbell. I don't think they will risk Mmaee for this game.

Is it really that hard to place the ball approximately half a yard away from the post and the bar? If you do you will probably score at least 9 out of 10! I've taken so many penalties in my life and I've hardly missed at all, so I really struggle to see why we are so bad at this! Must add that I have not played at a very high level though, but in principle the same counts anyway.

Iverson 6 - I don't think he can be blamed for the second as he had to stop the cross. Hoever 6, I'll never trust him but has improved lately. McNally 6, OK Rose 6, OK Stevens 6, makes us much more solid on the left side. Thompson 6, steady but lacks any creativity. Laurent 5, why did he stop instead of getting between their player and the goal!? Bae 7, good game. Haks 5, never has any end product! Manhoef 8, troubled them the whole afternoon, MOM! Mmaee 6, does a lot of good things, but he doesn't score goals! Subs Burger 7, makes a difference! Vidigal 6, really shit penalty but luckily scored on the rebound! Campbell 6, thought he added something when he came on! Leris 6, he certainly gets stuck in! Re Thompson did you see who passed the ball to Campbell for the penalty. I think Thompson's passing is very underrated. He can't shoot though but that's true of all the team. I must say I'm far from impressed by Thompson's passing. Every player at this level will make a good pass now and then, but in my opinion Thompson takes too much time in controlling the ball and his passes usually go sideways or backwards. When playing the ball forward he rarely hits his target, and when it comes to his crosses into the box I really want to cry! I think he is a very limited player that is OK as back up, but he really shouldn't start many games for us. Think he has improved a bit this season though.

His pace was the main factor anyway, but shit defending? YES!!! Just think it was bad positioning and our two getting in each others way. Laurent just needed to drop in the gap between Asante and Hoever and the keeper. Laurent was the main culprit at both our conceded goals!

Feels strange to be fighting to stay up, when we are so few player away from fighting for promotion! Really? For me, there's only a handful of players in the squad that I'd consider to be decent footballers. The rest I'd gladly see the back of. From the players we have today we're only a new first 11 left back, a dominant central defender and a decent goalgetter from being there.

He is as he has scored more than all our strikers together, or at least almost! True, except even Vidigal has 6, so his 10 isn't impressive at all. Bang average for a CS striker. Still better than what we have, and we certainly need to buy players with the ability to score this summer! I really doubt we can attract any better than Asante at the moment to be honest?

Did WBA score 2 with only two shots on goal? I really can't remember Iversen having to make any other saves?

Iverson 7, another good game, MOM. Thompson 6, don't trust him at left back, but was decent. Hoever 6, thought he was dire in the first half, but much better in the second. Fantastic goal! McNally 6, a couple of good interventions, but almost gave it away in the end when he was trying to shield a ball out of play. Rose 5, really should have done better for their goal + a couple of brain farts in the second too. Baker 5, too anonymous, but again shows the quality of his right peg. Burger 6, decent. Laurent 6, OK. Leris 4, not his game today. Junho 5, looked slow and indecisive in possession. Ennis 5, started well, but faded.
Mmaee 5, too little end product. Haks 4, one good run with the ball, apart from that he fluffed everything! Manhoef 6, makes things happen! Stevens 6, a bit rusty when he came on, but improved quickly.

I think I actually once read it was between Maguire and Wimmer and we went for Wimmer!? If so, that would be a criminal decision! Hughes identified Maguire and Robertson both at Hull but they chose Leicester and Liverpool the latter was actually very close to coming I've actually heard an interview about this where Robertson said he chose Lpool because he thought he had a bigger chance of being first chouce there. He thought Pieters was so good that he wouldn't be a first choice at Stoke!

Out of all the crazy decision making our clubs made over the years this one for me just about eclipses every other. The signing of Kevin Wimmer on every level just didn't make any sense what so ever. The player himself with his questionable past especially lack of game time at Spurs, the price Stoke agreed and saw fit to pay for him & the length of contract we gave him! A permanent record etched in history of where our club had seriously lost the plot, & as it turned out to be, the beginning of the end for our Premier League status. Absolute amateurish behaviour, almost criminal, from whoever it was who ever signed this transfer off to its completion! As a mere football fan, I, as did many other Stoke & most likely Spurs fans just saw no sense in any part of this deal! For me, this was the epitome of the great ship Stoke City heading well and truely towards iceberg šš¤! footballleagueworld.co.uk/tottenham-warning-enough-to-deter-stoke/I think I actually once read it was between Maguire and Wimmer and we went for Wimmer!? If so, that would be a criminal decision!

I guess you've seen them just as much as me, maybe less, but still have an opinion. Watching Sidibe in preseason games is absolutely meaningless. None of us really have an idea how he will do at this level yet, and he probably needs a loan first. That said, I agree about Cundle. Heās a nothing player, a poor manās Mason Mount From what I've seen of Sidibe I'd certainly prefer him to Cundle. Still I think Sidibe should only be a squad player yet, but to Choose Cundle instead of Baker is way off the mark in my opinion.

Junior is back soon isnāt he? Beat Huddersfield and we are pretty much safe. Thatās all that matters imo. Itās a massive game. Stevens has to play to get that result. Junior is struggling as a right back, inexperienced at defending and poor technique going forward, neither him or Hoever are good enough at left back Junior is only strugling when asked to be an inverted fullback, let him play as our right full back when he is fit again. He is the future for us there as well, so play to his strengths not the opposite!

Almost the same number as Cundle I think. Sidibe also played games in preseason that was possible to stream here in Norway. So nowhere near enough to base a valid opinionš whether your in Norway or notš¤·š¼š“āŖļø I guess you've seen them just as much as me, maybe less, but still have an opinion.

I don't like him because I think we have better players on the subs bench, and to be honest even players not on the subs bench like Sidibe. I really struggle to see what Cundle brings to the team! He is weak as piss defensively and when going forward you can bet he will misplace the simplest of attacking balls as well, as he of course did yesterday too. No, this was a wasteful loan when we should have brought a left back in instead, and this has cost us so far to be honest. Youāve suggested you donāt goā¦.you watch on tv, so how much have Sidibe have you seen to draw up the opinion thatās heās better than cundle? Just curiousš“āŖļø Almost the same number as Cundle I think. Sidibe also played games in preseason that was possible to stream here in Norway.

Opinions you know. Yeah yours are just bizarreā¦.attention seeking knobber it seems.thereās absolutely no way your opinions can be so different to everyone else, youāve marked Cundle as a 5 cos you just donāt like him not on his performanceš“āŖļø No, I don't like him because he brings nothing to the team. I really can't see why his performance should have a higher score. Maybe he should get another point for messing up an easy pass in the second half when we had a great chance of getting behind their defence!
