We have players like Håland, Sørloth, Ødegård and Ryerson and still our national team is shit! Doesn't help when our centrebacks are, lets just say "less than ideal" and our best goalie is "a howler a game" Nyland. Exactly, but Solbakken picks those players, are they really the best pick? I'm not sure Solbakken is able to get the best out our squad either to be honest.

Think I could settle for Alexander Sørloth. Shit, he just scored four against Real Madrid! To be fair he ain't slow for a big guy he is very quick. Something about them Nowegian strikers 😂 We have players like Håland, Sørloth, Ødegård and Ryerson and still our national team is shit!

Forgive me for asking what age you are? Did you by any chance grow up watching John Ritchie? That is really out of date you are! Being six foot is useful but pace is far more important. Modern day strikers have an abundance of pace to run in behind defences. This. Any defenders would rather play against a slow target man than a quick nippy player who isn't going give them a seconds rest. Unless you can find a Haaland type who is both big and strong and rapid (those sort of strikers are impossibly rare) Think I could settle for Alexander Sørloth. Shit, he just scored four against Real Madrid!

Maybe not at his best in all the games, but he showed he had pace and was hard to get past. With more games and maturity I guess he has improved on his weaknesses, and I would be delighted to see him back. just thought he was very inconsistent He was, but he also showed potential.

If that would free up Norrington-Davies I won't be too disappointed! Norrington-Davies? He was absolutely shite. You're entitled to your opinion.

Apparently McCallum is a dead cert for Sheff U from what I’ve been told but I hope I’m wrong as he looks a good player If that would free up Norrington-Davies I won't be too disappointed!

Has Mcallum signed as well? Seems like people on the Norwich message board think so! It also seems like most of their supporters want to keep him, which is a good sign I'd say!

I have a feeling he’ll be going for a 433 with an attacking CM. I can see him wanting to start with something similar to ...............…….....Johansson..................…………. Junior...........Wilmot........Coady..........Mcallum .........……….Burger.………..Laurent..........………… …………………………..Cundle……………………………… Manhoef...............Cannon…..................Junho If possible I wouldn't mind that!

I think Pearson is a good player, but he needs to get rid of his antics. He was, but looks like his legs have gone. Too slow to react. I'm not too sure about that. I think it's more about commitment than anything else.

I think Pearson is a good player, but he needs to get rid of his antics. I think he could be decent for us too, but his first task should be to make sure he doesn't start the season looking a stone overweight as he did last time. That may help him to cut out some of the other issues. Don't forget a lot of people said Shaq was unfit until he took off his shirt!

I have a feeling quite a few will be offloaded. As said I hope Johnson and Ennis are off, but if we get around £ 1.5M for Baker I'd let him go as well.

Is this close to where we are right now (if all the rumours come true)? ......................Johansson.................... Junior...........Wilmot........Coady..........Mcallum .......................Pearson....................... ............Burger................Laurent............ Manhoef.................Mmaee.................Junho.. Still a regular goalscorer away from a team challenging for promotion? Is it possible to offload Johnson and Ennis too? More chance of my Nan starting DM than Pearson. And she's been dead 10 year. I think Pearson is a good player, but he needs to get rid of his antics.

I agree Knutsen deseves a lot of credit for his job, but still it's easy to see the quality in players like Berg and Bjørkan. They're not bad players, and if I could pick one from B/G it's definitely Berg. He has done fairly well for the national team (unlike Bjørkan), but there's something about the club that Knudsen, along with Bjørkan's dad Åsmund Bjørkan and their sport psychologist (a retired fighter pilot it seems), deserve most of the credit for. Their scounting have also been good, picking up players with certain attributes needed for their kind of football relativly cheaply. I agree, they are making diamonds out of regular stones up there!

I always wondered how Gods couldn’t know so many footballers. Yet my total lack of interest in the Championship means that I must admit, I have no idea who this Norwich full back is…. I didn't know anything about him either, but after reading about him I think he is exactly the kind of player we would like here.

Do you want me to talk about our own Wouter Burger here? I’m under absolutely zero allusions that they’re probably out of reach but all 3 would make such a massive difference to our starting XI. I don’t know much about the level of football, wages etc but the fact we got burger tells me we still have decent enough pull and financial backing. But all three might be more reluctant as they’ve moved into Europes big 5 and struggled. (Is that down to the stature of the clubs they moved to though)? Haha, touché! But there's still the point that very few of the very successful Bodø/Glimt team has done anything at all when sold for £5-10M to european clubs. Hauge has been in Italy (2 goals in 18 at AC Milan), Germany (2 in 36 at Frakfurt), and Belgium (0 in 19 for Gent). Plus he's actually on loan from Frankfurt right now) Berg had 17 games for Lens, not really holding down a 1st team place (although the French first division IS wierd). Bjørkan got 8 games at Hertha Berlin and 1 game on loan at Feyenoord before going back. Evjen actually got 44 games (and 4 goals) for AZ before being demoted to Jong AZ and was sold to Brøndby in Denmark. Ola Solbakken was sold to Roma after he and B/G humiliated Mourinho in the Europa Leage, but only managed 15 games before being loaned out to Olympiakos (5 games) and then to Urawa in fucking Japan. Erik Botheim (striker) was sold to Krasnodar in Russia, and then to Salernitana where he managed to play 35 games and only score 1 goal. he's now banging them in in Sweden at Malmö. Kasper Junker also went to Urawa in Japan after a contract dispute, and now plays for Grampus, also in Japan. The player sold who's done best has been Zinckernagel IMO (we played against him vs. Watford and Forest). He's now at Club Brugge. And of course Boniface who went to union SG and is now at Leverkusen where he's scored 13 in 22! See the pattern here? Very few players go to other clubs and succeed. It's Knudsen who's the reason for Bodø/Glimt's success, not the players. I agree Knutsen deseves a lot of credit for his job, but still it's easy to see the quality in players like Berg and Bjørkan.

I think Berg can play as a DM or CM, but he has a very good shot in him as well so he will pop up with some goals during a season. He seems the kind of player though that needs to feel at home to be at his best. When he was in France he wasn't able to keep his place in the starting 11, but back at Bodø Glimt he soon became his own self again. He has also played well for our national team, but unfortunately we don't have a top class goalkeeper or central defenders of good enough quality. Because of this we always seem to be knocked out before the big tournaments start. He shouldn’t be on our radar then. We have too many who fit that description considering how Schu wants to play. We could easily afford to lose one of them and not seek a replacement. Baker is the obvious candidate, we could lose him without any consequence. I also think we need to start playing Sidibe more or I'm afraid the big carnavours will come marching in.

I'm not that sure about Hauge, but he has shown some good form in his last two games. Bjørkan is the one of the 3 I would have liked here because he is a left back who can defend and is good going forward. Right now he is out with a hamstring injury by though. Berg is a very good footballer, but despite of that I think other positions are more important for us now with the midfielders already at the club. He would also cost a lot. What sort of midfielder is he we’ve got more than enough players who can play the deep lying position well Laurent being one of them whether he wants to or not. What he isn’t is an advanced midfielder where he keeps getting played. He’s simply not good enough on the ball. We have Junho who can play there but is also doing really well on the Left. I think we could do with one or two more clever creative footballers who are reasonably robust for the AM positions that Schu likes to field two of. EDIT: Perhaps just one we don’t want to block Sol’s route to the first team. I think Berg can play as a DM or CM, but he has a very good shot in him as well so he will pop up with some goals during a season. He seems the kind of player though that needs to feel at home to be at his best. Yeah, like they'd leave surefire european football for a bottom half championship club. Plus, they've all been abroad already and sucked, before being brought back for a fragment of the initial sale price. They're all players that fit Kjetil Knudsen's style of football (he's a friggin genious manager), but fail elsewhere, like around 12-15 of their former players. Tymon in my opinion wasn't that bad going forward, but I never trusted him as a defender. For a player as rapid as Tymon he was awfully easy to get past. One on one defensively he was really terrible at times in my opinion.

Sam mcallum at Norwich is out of contract i think, hes not a bad player. Lb. Can't say I remember to have seen him ever play, but after reading a bit about him he seems exactly the kind of left back we should be looking for. Bring him in!

Schumacher didnt rate Wes whatsoever as a player or as a character Schumacher loves Wesley and treats him like family, as such he has nicknamed him Wesleylovesoatcakes

A lot of money spent if he turns out to be a nothing player I say! We've spent more on less. That is certainly true as well, but we had more money available then I'd say.
