Gloryhunter watching Stoke has gone back to his first love shock! Pretty much my trail of thought, the fact they have gone to another club shows that he was a supporter of the club.....Your club choose you not the other way around, if your mate doesn't get the highs and lows as we all do, then I hope they find a club that gives them those feelings.....I wouldn't want be stood or sitting with someone who looked bored.

In size they are Jonathan Walters, Pieters, diouff, Arnie and bojan. Sorry about size of the image. Where did you find them? I've been living in Prague for a few months now and not seen them about. Not that I'd buy it, just shelf filling toss, just not seen them about. I think we were in the old town, we were on the same street as the torture museum in one of the tourist shops.

To all these people being a shit to grant......He knew when he signed up he knew he was going be number 2, but this isn't the case now grant has held more clean sheets and doesn't show any signs of stopping, I'm a huge Butland fan, but he can't be given special treatment.

He is so undertated by us its unfair, but today he showed something new and thats flair and that happened as what has be goal of the month contender, there was no bit of luck behind it, Walters always thinks whats best for the team, and he knew there was no one pass to so he made the only choice......Regardless of the starting eleven no matter what we think, we need be behind the team, and show why they fear us as a unit at home.

For a Stoke fan it was an amazing win, listen to knotfm if you just want a Stoke perspective, I agree we get hard done by MOTD but they will show whatever is entertaining first....And they should, hell I wish we were on first every week but we would need be exceptional week in and week out and last time we were in the prem league we were first.

Simple, Hughes got grant, he has gained the trust of the squad, meaning players are playing how the should be doing instead of panicking when the opposition are near our goal, we have outlets when we break now.

Good thread. 16 points from the last 21, 1 defeat in the last 9. Feels very good tonight. Now for Primal Scream up Keele. Lucky bugger, I'd go to that gig myself if I wasn't currently like 198 miles away.

A real man can apologize for their mistakes, but you shouldn't feel bad for having a view...We all as individuals feel things differently, I for one never blamed the manager Butland got injured and we had no real cover, he addressed the issue with signing Grant, who at the time I thought he was never going be good enough....But now its nice knowing Butland is going have be at his best to get into first again Grant has been a sensational.

To finish 8th plus, I know its a massive ask but would do wonders for reputation with other players as we continue to strive to be the best club we can be.

They're just a bit sad. It's when you get the bullshit stories of some relative or someone that got them into the team or a player that they liked... Let's face facts. You only follow the team because of their success... end of story. And don't tell me youre as passionate as actual local supporters because you don't have the same affiliation or as much at stake should the team fold/relegated. That's a ton of bullshit by your logic there be no Stoke fans

I would rather have Boris Johnson as host, but in all seriousness I would think the host shouldn't follow any club and be a football neutral where would you find a football person who doesn't support any club? and what a weirdo if such a person exists!!! I have no idea it's not my job find a football purist

Well somebody had to do it. That miserable, no mark host (Chapman) certainly wouldn't but then he has had to endure supporting Manure! All he could belch out was that it was a poor game - something you have to expect from someone whose had a charisma bypass! Onwards and upwards! Strange innit but I much prefer Chapman to Lineker as a host. At least he puts some thought into his questions and tries to get something out of the analysis. Keowns just a ninkumpoop I would rather have Boris Johnson as host, but in all seriousness I would think the host shouldn't follow any club and be a football neutral

Personally I find it refreshing having a honest passionate manager, would I take him over Hughes? No, but I can't really see anyone else as Stoke manager for quite a while....We need to remember for most of us these are the best times to be a Stokie I know that some would prefer if we were in championship so they can see games where we win by 2 goals or more, but for me I would rather see us in the best league in the world and taking baby steps year on year becoming more of a threat.

Doesn't matter what team is picked we should be behind every player once they are on the pitch.

He got afine of £50 grand last time , I wonder if he pays that or the club, if he does that will be one dear water bottle I was reading bbc website and they are saying here should be banned for 6 games, and unless he has a clause in his contract he pays.

You know why that is don't you because when we win he's not a genius and when we lose its not because he's a shit manager. Hughes is a decent manager who lead us through a transition which on paper looked an onerous task. Things have stagnated a little, he seems to have gone through a phase of very muddled thinking. Is he the very best manager we could possibly have, I don't believe so. Are people afraid of change? Absolutely. Are they right to be? Probably, every time you make a major change you're rolling the dice but thats what you sometimes have to do to move forward. Not wishing to set up a tit for Tat Al but I'm genuinely interested, particularly now, why you think things have stagnated. Whilst I've had issues over aspects of Hughes' management {never anything worthy of the boot}, I think, particularly during this season that he's addressed/addressing those areas. I think Hughes is the perfect fit for us at the moment, the value of his obviously strong relationship with the Chairman and their mutual trust can't be overstated. I think he is the man, {and his henchmen} to take us forward. He's responsible for attracting these talents and has continued to show impressive man management of these often complex egos. etc etc. I applaud his flexibility and desire to win every game. I don't get the muddled thinking thing. Bought quality players to bolster the squad. Some take longer to integrate. There are plans to address it. Even during the early season shit results all the pundits and commentators {with the exception of Joey Barton} backed Hughes to turn it around. He's a well respected man in the game, which also reflects well on us. On a wider point I like our Clubs attitude to players like Wilko, Teix etc. A bit old school and 'sentimental' to some, I'm sure it puts is in good stead amongst players, counts for a lot in attracting talent I expect. Had a real sense of pride at that Wilco testimonial, fans invited on the pitch, the old stars etc, had the feeling of following a 'decent' Club. Point is I think Hughes buys into that ethos, whilst evolving us on the pitch he's provided continuity off it. We're pushing at the 'glass ceiling' of Europe and Silverware, not that far short last season, perhaps the most difficult step up in football, far from a period of stagnation imo. Especially not now. You've been critical of lack of youth, over reliance on Whelan, etc, don't you think he's doing something about your concerns? I don't understand why your still questioning his tenure. I'm not just basing that on his stroke of genius yesterday. Couldn't of said it better myself, glad to see the pulis pureists have calmed down but there is always few muppets on every forum.
