Wonder who will be on last? Oh well, who cares, we won. To reference another thread it's one of the few reasons for having Sky - watch game of the day. Even the extended highlights (which is where we normally come in) are 100 times better than MOTD with no talking heads in between spouting bollocks. Rarely watch MOTD now even when we win.

For a Stoke fan it was an amazing win, listen to knotfm if you just want a Stoke perspective, I agree we get hard done by MOTD but they will show whatever is entertaining first....And they should, hell I wish we were on first every week but we would need be exceptional week in and week out and last time we were in the prem league we were first.

We had least amount of goals in our game, that's why we're on last, it's usually always like this.

All the other games were more interesting to a neutral in various ways. Last is the right spot for us this week.
MOTD is put together for the general public, not Stoke fans. I just still enjoy the fact we're actually on it.

Our game had the least goals so fair enough. Southampton 0 Liverpool 0 two weeks ago was on before Stoke 0 Bournemouth 1 so I'm afraid that's not always true mate

Our game had the least goals so fair enough. Which was actually the point of my OP. A big win for us but hardly noticeable in the wider world. Now what if we win at Arsenal next week and get to 6th place? We can dream

Will they highlight Barnes elbow on BMI? Definite red card offence and our number one ref did not see it, no free kick and didn't stop game for a head injury! Retrospective red card? Mind you I won't find out as I never watch MOTD, a rubbish programme. Always used to say you know what you get from Stoke. Well I never know so how the hell do they know?

You know what it's going to be. It's going to be two minutes of footage edited to make Burnley look the better team and then five minutes of inane waffle about Burnley and Dyche before ending with, "Oh and Stoke? Yeah, they won."

Am I the only person who thinks this is a good thing? We've been a solid top flight club for nearly a decade and thanks to this kind of media shunning we still manage to shock other teams with our ability. Watford last week was a great example. Their fans have only seen us on motd and they were all convinced they would brush us aside. Win next week and we won't be last that's for sure, but our next couple of opponents would no doubt up their game as a result.

Deli Counter gone rotten.
One word, cheat.
I wouldn't be happy if one of ours was so blatantly cheating.
I don't think there was any contact at all, can they take retrospective action against the twat and ban him?

Good on Chris Sutton for saying Alli bongo cheated for the penalty. Good pundit being honest about a cheating scrote

Well done Sutton! Said exactly how it was with Ali and rightly said that "he conned the ref" by leaving his leg out and diving. Contrast that to the various dubious penalties that Vardy (amongst others) won last season by leaving their leg out. Yet despite the obvious, the likes of Shearer et al screaming about their "right to go down" because the opposition player touched their leg etc... Very refreshingly honest and unfortunately Sutton won't be back
