I’ve heard but can’t find a link that a peer reviewed study by Cleveland University (?) concluded that the more doses of the vax you got the more likely you were to get covid?
Anyone seen the study?

Always makes you believe that an offence which involves money is far more serious than one which can take someone's life eg death by dangerous driving, manslaughter drug dealing etc This exactly. White collar crime d serves to be be prosecuted but on a fair and consistent basis. You could knife someone and get less time

Your (and others) hypothesis on long covid causing current excess deaths isn’t tenable. Excess deaths are more correlated with countries with heavily vaccinated populations, even a superficial view of the data calls that out. It seems we think about this in different ways. In my head it's not "one thing is causing excess deaths" and then picking that one thing, but total death numbers go up and down for many reasons like: 1. Medical system problems - people skipping treatment during COVID then doctors overwhelmed after. 2. Harvesting: "A short period of excess mortality that is followed by a compensating period of mortality deficit (i.e., fewer deaths than expected, because those people have died at a younger age)" 3. Deaths from long-term COVID health damage. It's kind of like an equation: excess deaths = harvesting effect + medical system effect + long-COVID effect + ... other things ... Do you think each of those three things are real? For me the hypothesis is that long covid is causing more deaths, it doesn't have to be 100% of the excess or nothing. But you were quite vocal that it was Covid causing the excess deaths 2 years ago and didn’t seem to consider other variables? I’m not saying the excess deaths are all down to the vax but I believe a lot of them are, but no one seems interested in finding out, how peculiar. Injecting half the world with an experimental vax based on shoddy and short clinical trials was just shocking. I’m fairly confident (unfortunately) that in the future we will find this vax has caused more deaths than it saved. The unwillingness to investigate the potential harms is simply unacceptable and will undermine vax confidence for decades

If all this is an is an affair then this is such a blousey showbizz gravy train news story it makes you choke. I mean people have affairs all the time and probably tell more than a few 1/2 truths along the way. I don't like Schofield, but it's like he's mown down a few hundred school children in his pickup truck the way people are going on - so long as that is all it is of course. Not if there’s grooming or coercion involved. He’s lied and the circumstances need a thorough investigation

I saw another headline but it was 65 million infections, not dead! Almost everyone has past exposure now though so I wouldn't be freaking out. I think it's only a little bit deadlier than the flu nowadays, unless there're more new strains? During this week: It said dead here. Probably a misprint? The Covid situation has never been worse in China apparently according to the news though. And it said it's because it has gone too long now from the first vaccinations. As if it's like starting all over again perhaps? But if it was based on a false fact to begin with (dead instead of infected), then no wonder the conclusion was wrong as well. More scaremongering. Remember not so long ago when China came out of lockdown they said that 10 of millions would die, haven’t heard much about that since…

When did you have it? If you were vaccinated during delta or before then there's still a chance it stopped you spreading the virus to other people. Plus it reduced your risk of death by 90%+ from infection. Or helped stop you getting severe heart or lung damage, which is nice. It doesn't stop the spread, never has, never will But the MSM and Fauci told us it “stopped it in its tracks”… Then it was 90%, then 70% then it helps stop infection then alright it doesn’t stop infection but if you take a vax that hasn’t been properly tested you might not die Just copperfastens the appalling nature of the clinical trials that were used to justify the roll out of this….

Lancet study claims that lockdowns had no effect on the Covid death rates. What an absolute shit show this was/is. I really wish I could undo taking that vaccine (to protect others 😳) Anyone getting regret taking it? Could you link to the Lancet study? I found this but I don't think it's what you're talking about because the results say the opposite.* There's another Lancet study with some new long-term data. Roughly months 1-28 after infection and find that COVID infection makes you hundreds of percent more likely to die even if you get through the bad first weeks. Severe COVID = more risk, being double vaccinated = less risk. It is a controlled study but based on the design I don't trust these results 100% on their own. Still, I think we'll have to accept that some of the 2022/23 excess deaths were tragically be people finally succumbing to damage from long-past COVID infections. *it's also just correlation but they get one of the same results I did with the data! That the more a state voted for Trump, the more people died in it. I’ll go back and look for the link Your (and others) hypothesis on long covid causing current excess deaths isn’t tenable. Excess deaths are more correlated with countries with heavily vaccinated populations, even a superficial view of the data calls that out. It was shameful that a vaccine with so poor clinical trial participation and analysis was rolled out for something that wasn’t killing (in the main) healthy people. People who had such trenchant views on the vaccine effectiveness and the desire to force it on others can’t now accept that administrating such a vaccine to the population at large (including kids over 6 months ffs) was a colossal mistake. Why won’t they release excess deaths by vaccination status? I note you didn’t comment on the German pathology study showing the build up of a heretofore unknown protein in the arteries of the vaccinated. What’s your take on that?

Like a lot of people I had it in order to go on holiday, attend Stoke games etc. I knew it was totally unnecessary and we were being lied to about the so called benefits but was forced to go along with it. In the end all restrictions were lifted to travel anyway and so ultimately I could have avoided having it. I'll regret it to my dying day. I won't be swayed again. Had I not required it for work purposes I never would have had it. I canned holidays and even marriage as a result of it. Thank fuck!🤣 That lady can thank covid vaccines for a lucky escape 😆

He hasn’t committed an indictable crime BUT he is a proven liar and there needs to be a full and thorough investigation to ensure no crime was committed.

Really surprised Prigozhin hasn’t been killed by Putin, he’s really ramping up the criticism
No saying if the special military op/war was to de militarise Ukraine then it’s completely failed and turned Ukraine into one of the worlds strongest armies
It’d be funny if it wasn’t so tragic

I don’t know about this one, other lies you can perpetuate, saying you e killed someone when you haven’t is easy to disprove, he just turns up for a live interview… I think if it was me I’d want the enemy thinking he was dead even if he wasnt. No idea what the truth is here. That’s actually a valid point

Another Russian lie from a couple of months ago. They showed a photo of an explosion from Syria and said it proved they destroyed a secret underground NATO command bunker in Ukraine. Every week there are more Russian lies. Doesn't mean *everything* they say is a lie, but just ignore anything they say without proof. I don’t know about this one, other lies you can perpetuate, saying you e killed someone when you haven’t is easy to disprove, he just turns up for a live interview…

Looking at Luton I’m absolutely confounded by how abjectly shite we are. Luton look like a big lump of pub leaguers, puts our season into shocking perspective They play to their strengths and as a unit Tez, it’s as simple as that. Agree but you’d expect a few decent footballers to play them off the pitch, but there again I sure many thought exactly the same about us when we were in the PL (although under Hughes we played some beautiful football)

The only downside are his injuries. It doesn’t matter if they’re linked or not, it’s not a good look. But he’s a bloody good goalkeeper. Commands his area and makes the defence better with it. Good with his feet. Good shot stopper and his punches are excellent. You can’t have Bonham as back up behind him though. His throws out at every good too. I closely watched his distribution from feet because I think Bonhams is poor, Sarkics is excellent, defence seems much more assured with him behind them too

Why would you like it and yet not like it for the club you support? I’m just chewing the fat by the way😉 Because it’s not traditional so I don’t think I’d like it. If they did want to modernise it though it’s the way I’d do but I don’t think they should. Didn’t you just say you preferred it to our current kit? I’m struggling to keep up with your foibles 😆

Was that not Newcastle? Thought it was but maybe Everton in the snow? Yeah it was the Everton game. He gave away possession which led to Newcastle scoring if I remember correctly. There was also his dreadful cameo away at Leicester. If it comes out that he had money on Leicester it wouldn't surprise me, he was disgraceful that game. Yes thanks, I remember the Newcastle one now, he shouldn’t have been played for many of those games.

You’re just being obtuse as usual😉 It’s an absolute horror! I’m not. I like it but would I like it for a Stoke shirt? I don’t think I would. But I prefer that shirt to our current home shirt tbh. It’s fuckin rank, like trying to focus on a seaside candy rock after 20 pints!
