Shouldn't start if/when lawal is available. Prob shouldnt start even now. He offers nothing. You've seen Lawal play a lot then I take it? He played well today, as much that will hurt stone people to admit Nope, I'm just going on reasons why we bought him and how he's been talked up. The burger of the 1st 5months seems a million miles away. Seko in 2 games has looked 5x the player of current burger.

He was the worst outfield player today easily, offers nothing, hides, for a big fella he is an absolute pansy. Shouldn’t start the next game.

He's not suited to this style of play really.
We need another Seko.

Well, with a suspension to come and the maturity Sidibe showed off the bench today he’ll have to buck his ideas up or he’ll be warning the bench.
I do think he’s very slowly been getting better but nowhere near the standards we’ve seen previously.

Underwhelming again today. I do think he’s trying but he just looks off the pace.
Not sure if it’s fitness or mentality but something isn’t right.

The comments simply highlight agendas. Burger was fine, not great but not awful much the same as every other of our players. We really weren’t particularly good but we came back from behind and didn’t lose. How even the most biased person could say that wasn’t a pen is beyond me. I’m not excited by what I’m seeing but we’re becoming more resilient which is what many people wanted.

He was ok today, but he’s been poor this season, compared to last.
If we can get him back to last season, we are immediately a better a much better side.

Thought he did ok to be fair. Won a lot of headers before it got to our centre halves which is good in my book.

He’s better playing with another deep lying midfielder it’s not rocket science. Take him off by all means but replace him with another deep lying midfielder not by pulling an advanced midfielder back. Particularly one carrying a knock who hasn’t himself had any influence on the game in his natural position. Yellow carded Burger off for Thompson or Sidibie is just sensible management. We got there in the end.

We got there in the end. and yet no more than 5 minutes after the subs were made we scored. I was scratching my head at the timing and personel of the subs but it worked nobody can really argue with that. Seems like a few were carrying knocks but pleased to see the lads who came on stepped straight into the action. Sometimes making so many subs at one time can upsetthe rhythm but we continued to dominate.

Moran was a liability after the subs as a deep lying midfielder he’s not great there at the best of times but he was carrying a knock and not moving well. As I said no argument with subbing Burger but it took another sub (Sidibie on) to restore the balance. Moran isn’t a deep lying midfielder even at the top of his game.

Let’s look at the facts. He probably was a good player at some time in the past. He filled a void for a while.
Questions. Was he ever consistently very good or just better than we were used to ? If so, Will he ever regain his form? Will he be part of an improved Stoke City going forward ? I think we all know the answers.

There is literally no evidence for your speculative answers. He is a parody and carbon copy of promising players previously ruined by the destructive Stoke City “development” process.
