I love your optimism and I hope you are right. But.. There is literally no evidence for your speculative answers. He is a parody and carbon copy of promising players previously ruined by the destructive Stoke City “development” process. He played consistently well. He’s a good player, form will come. He’s already part of improving side. |

Our 2 man midfield must be a difficult gig. You have so much ground to cover there is little chance of having time on the ball and be able to show what you can do.
I’d love to see the distances run for all our players. I would imagine his stats are right at the top of that.
His best performances for us have been when he is a little further forward and within range of having a shot or two. This season he is playing a different role and does it ok. It’s one of those thankless positions where you look like you are just chasing and covering the back 4 rather than providing quality.
