Those comments need challenging Stoke players out to injure the opposition, our manager telling players to do this ā¦ā¦. Has any other footballer suffered a broken leg ? He returned to the game at international level after a very nasty injury It was an accident

The Coates/Shawcross should drop a lawsuit on him for character defamation! Might finally shut him up!
I can't even watch him on TV, the spiteful little Jenga weasel!

To be fair I think Ramsey tried to be diplomatic about it be the presenters question 'Do you feel resentment about it' was way out of order

The fucking brittle boned scum bag gooner cunt can go and fuck himself.
Every Stokie knows the truth about that tackle. His fucking ankle had gone before Ryan was near him and it took a fucking stoke player to check on the papermached ankled cunt, unlike that fucking bell wipe Campbell who wanted a fucking fight.
And you wonder why every Stoke fan hates those fucking gooner cunts and anyone associated with them
Wankers the lot of em

It was a terrible accident but I still maintain that bendtner was more to blame than Shawcross. Rewatch it if you donāt believe me. Shawcross wouldāve made a clean tackle but it was bendtner petulantly hacking at him that slowed him down and induced the mistiming of the tackle.

To be fair I think Ramsey tried to be diplomatic about it be the presenters question 'Do you feel resentment about it' was way out of order I really don't think suggesting that Stoke played to be aggressive and that was driven by Tony Pulis, is any way being 'diplomatic'. He's had 15 years to consider his answers to these inevitable types of questions and he doesn't seem any more tactful than he's ever been.

But he's knows it's coming. He could have easily closed it down and responded by saying, that it was many years ago and he wasn't the first and he wont be the last to break a leg but instead he claimed that Ryan wanted to leave a bit on him and later went on to say that it effected the rest of his career. Not cool.

1. Sky Sports should be ashamed of themselves but of course they wonāt be. 2. Ramseyās implied allegation about TP should be slanderous but it probably isnāt in a court of law. 3. Nobody is interested in truth when a media āinstitutionā such as Arsenal is involved

Speaking on Monday Night Football, former Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey reflects on the injury he sustained against Stoke and suggested the challenge was due to them attempting to play on Arsenal's 'soft' reputation.
What a stupid statement, had the arsenal player not pulled Shawcross shirt then it would not have happened with that outcome!

āEffected the rest of his careerā?!?, heās played for some of the biggest clubs, played in Europe, and heās still playing now at the age of 33 and looks like heās got a couple more seasons in him. What more does he think he couldāve done. That sky sports presenter was definitely out of order, why focus on a leg break when Ramsay has achieved so much more in his career post beak, itās weird.

There is pictorial evidence that Shawcross did not break the calcium deficient ones leg. Why is this never brought up in these conversations. I will never understand why Stoke chose not to use this to protect their own players reputation.

To play devilās advocate; maybe if Ramsay never suffers that injury he goes on to even greater heights? It is a brutal time to suffer such a horror injury and mustāve negatively impacted his development.

Bentner pulled ryan back as they went in for a 50/50
It looks like Ramsey sort of tried to pull out and his leg went before contact
Sol Campbell was harassing the ref like a man possessed to get ryan sent off whilst glenn whelan attended to Ramsay
The ref bottled it and sent ryan off
Ryan got picked for England that weekend and I believe this incident blighted that career and maybe a move. Stokes gain
The aftermath saw that cunt wenger moaning and reportedly would not let Ramsay accept an apology for ryan
Arsenal. A cuntish club, full of cunts supported by cunts

He was never gonna leave Arsenal for a rival so he was limited in the premier league and I donāt think he was ever (pre-injury) good enough to play for the top Spanish clubs. He still managed a league title (I think) with juventus. Youāre right though, horrible age to suffer an injury like that.
