It was a terrible accident but I still maintain that bendtner was more to blame than Shawcross. Rewatch it if you don’t believe me. Shawcross would’ve made a clean tackle but it was bendtner petulantly hacking at him that slowed him down and induced the mistiming of the tackle. It was more of a tug of Ryan's shirt than a hack, if my memory serves me correctly...same result though

There is pictorial evidence that Shawcross did not break the calcium deficient ones leg. Why is this never brought up in these conversations. I will never understand why Stoke chose not to use this to protect their own players reputation. I really don't think this is true. The photo evidence you're speaking of is a misleading photo. It's pretty obvious the photo is perspectively distorted in as far as Ramseys leg looks snapped and Shawcross doesn't appear to have clocked him yet.. He has. The photo just looks off. There's a few decent videos and other photos that pretty much debunk that myth. He wipes out Ramsey. Let's own it. Where we can hold our head up is the way we conduct ourselves. The reality it, it was a mistimed tackle and shit happens. He was indeed tugged which is never ever mentioned. Arsenal and Ramsey have fucking cried and blarted about it almost compulsively for about 15 years now and even when we're an absolute dog shit championship team, we're still somehow living rent free in the milky bar kids head. It probably did shit his career up though. There's still time Rambo.... Go join Newport.

Anyone who thinks that wasn't just a accident is quite frankly delusional, wouldn't of been in tears walking off the pitch had there been any malice in it. Sky and Arsenal fans just will not let it go. Alot boils down to classism, the idea that Stoke is a rough and ready team is based around peoples thoughts of the area, working class. When Son broke Gomes leg he was made out to be a sweetheart. It was a accident nothing more nothing less. Ramsey should be more pissed off at the Arsenal players who were more interested in making sure it was a red card whilst Whelan was the only player to help and console him. the stuff about classism is something I talked about a lot at the time. It was very evident just how 'poor' unemployed Stoke fans or their working class football club didn't really matter when the rich wealthy Londoner's were playing cards.

Bentner pulled ryan back as they went in for a 50/50 It looks like Ramsey sort of tried to pull out and his leg went before contact Sol Campbell was harassing the ref like a man possessed to get ryan sent off whilst glenn whelan attended to Ramsay The ref bottled it and sent ryan off Ryan got picked for England that weekend and I believe this incident blighted that career and maybe a move. Stokes gain The aftermath saw that cunt wenger moaning and reportedly would not let Ramsay accept an apology for ryan Arsenal. A cuntish club, full of cunts supported by cunts Yep. A new collective word instead of "a nest of cunts" now "an arsenal of cunts".

I used to get bullied at school because of Shawcross and Ramsey by Arsenal fans. It even culminated in physical threats by Arsenal fans and being excluded from activities because of my team.
They would also say Shawcross was laughing and not crying. Rent free.
