Was sitting behind me last night in a box. We need to get this guy back in the squad, looked very sharp in pre - season. He’s obviously been a prat with the driving ban but we need him as at least an option to bring on atm because bringing Tezgel on the wing is not the answer

Nobody asked about him in the press meetings and I didn’t pick up any conversation about the injuries status either?
Did anyone else?

I don't think it's footballing reasons.

I couldn't find his own thread so.....
Does anyone know what the situation is with this guy?
Remarkably our top scorer last season with 6 league goals One goal in the EFL cup after coming on as sub.
Scored a couple in 30 minutes in a game pre season game at Crewe
I've not heard he's not picked because of disciplinary reasons? No updates about injuries?
He has an eye for a goal, so what is the issue?

Remarkably our top scorer last season with 6 league goals in 18 games (which he was a sub 11 times) So 7 starts One goal in the EFL cup after coming on as sub. Scored a couple in 30 minutes in a game pre season game at Crewe I've not heard he's not picked because of disciplinary reasons? No updates about injuries? He has an eye for a goal, so what is the issue? he played 29 games in the championship last season

www.stokesentinel.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/stoke-city-transfer-andre-vidigal-9531918It's obvious we (whether that was Schuey, Walters, or both?) wanted rid, and Sentinel said he turned down moves to Turkey and Qatar. Maybe he'll have a chance to have a fresh start under Pelach - it's either that or pay him to sit in the stands for 4 months Not sure it's a slam dunk he'll be back in the 20 though - with Gallagher fit. He was awful for most of last season. The fact that Schuey put an unheralded u21 forward (Jeffers) on the bench at Plymouth, and we saw another unheralded u21 (Chibueze) on the bench on Friday does speak pretty loudly about where he stands. That does seem pretty unfathomable if he's not a bad egg, with every window now closed Someone on twitter has suggested he's off the naughty step.

I seem to recall that he had a heavy tackle last season and bottled out of that game afterwards. I think that's when he was discarded. I may be wrong.

If he's going to remain here, until January at least, absolutely he has to be on the bench at least, he has proved he has a goal in him and we are preciously short of those.

Would actually like to see him given one more chance, he did show glimpses of what he is capable of, his finish away at Birmingham being one.
Hopefully he gets some minutes and he can find a few goals, if it doesn’t work out we can show him the door in January.

And he looked good in preseason, we're all kinda forgetting that the guy scored two goals, looked a lot bulkier/ready for the league this year and also motivated - would you bother celebrating preaseason friendly goals if you weren't excited about the upcoming season? Stupid of Schuey to cast him out to the wilderness and an example of how I think Schuey let personal feelings get in the way of making the best decisions for the team's performance.

He will feature on the field again this season that's for sure.

He's not crap. He's struggled with the physicality of the league. If he gets up to speed with that he could come good. Hopefully the club have been working on his conditioning etc because I saw enough glimpses to show he's definitely got something to offer.

Considering we are low on cover for the wide forward positions and the fact he can score goals then he needs to be brought back into the squad ASAP

I posted on a thread a couple of weeks ago saying he will feature this season (the vidigal transfer thread) everyone wanted him to leave then and laughed at me... It's funny what a difference 3 weeks is in football, now people want him back in the team 🙂. He needs to be given a few games and I am sure the new manager will, personally I hope he proves everyone wrong.
