Had some grit about him today, admittedly as I pointed out in another thread Swansea looked gassed by the time he came on which may have helped his cause. Not connivenced he'll be here long term but it's nice to see him giving it a go rather than being ostracised from the squad. The fitness issue is interesting because Swansea brought 3 'fresh' subs on 76 mins but we were all over them from that point on, and yes, they looked gassed.

So he was out of shape and a bit of a fanny. Rightfully booted out by Schumacher by the sounds of things. But brought back in by Poundland Pep. Schumacher showed what he was about early doors when he dropped Mmaee to the reserves for not meeting his standards. Let's see what this new guy has about him. Pity Schuey didn’t discipline himself for poor timekeeping or not bothering to turn up at all and not meeting standards. oohhh care to elaborate??

Having an actual midfield helps, i.e. when Burger came off. If it were up to me I'd be cashing in on Burger in jan, purchasing a Right back and potentially a Thompson upgrade depending on how long Lawal is out for.

I thought he was awful and why on earth he didn’t pass to Moran who is a much better position when he shot ( back passed ) pathetically again god only knows .

Strange decision to include him if that’s right I’d rather Ennis who has a decent work ethic and attitude but seems to be paying tyevprucd for being a Schumacher disciple .

I’m in West Sussex currently, I’d hoped to see if one of Vidigals legs had made it down this far but alas they remain missing.

But then again I also thought Wilson Palacios was going to be our Lord and saviour so my opinion on our players holds about as much weight as a lump of dogshit with scoliosis.

He was often late, or didn’t turn up at all and the Brian Clough approach to management wasn’t working. When he did turn up, the sessions laid on by him and his staff were of a poor standard and the players were bored.

I’m finding it hard to believe that the lead member of coaching staff would be late to training. How on earth could he discipline Vidigal and Mmaee like he did if he himself was repeatedly late?

I normally wouldn’t believe stuff like that but Dave is usually right so that makes me think it could be true. Fits into what I saw from him tbh. We really need to move on from him though. He was an absolute nothing manager for us either which way.

I'm told he frequently left out of date milk in the canteen fridge and always parked over two spaces on the staff car park. Absolute wrong un.

Looked interested today, which is good. There’s a player in there. Although his decaion to shoot when the pass to Moran was on was poor decision making. I think he will contribute.

Heard exactly the same and apparently he wasn't keen on travelling to watch opposition matches live, preferred to watch videos.

Seems to have bulked up quite bit since last season, but also looks more clumsy on the ball. Last season he looked very skillfull on the ball in his first games for us, but faded after his injury.

I found Wilmotts interview after the game interesting where he basically said training is far better now so must be something in it
