I really don't see why we can't go head to toe with these teams. There really isn't a stand out team in this league. We have some decent quality in our squad to give it a go and let others worry about us, rather than us them. Pelach although he talks a good game, hasn't really put his preaching into practice yet..

It seems to me that PL clubs send their young fringe players (eg Smallbone, Cundle and Moran) out to us in order to toughen them up, simply because though they all have talent, that's what they're missing-and that's what we need.

In my opinion, for what it's worth, the midfield needs to tighten up with more bodies in there. Teams are literally walking through us and we're exposed regularly. I believe that we do have a team,who can compete. The way they're set up is completely wrong. |

He’s stunting our creative players, they all look worse in his system. You don’t win many games when you just set up not to lose

I’m afraid to say that this is at least 75% down to recruitment. Too weak, young and fragile squad assembled who are struggling with the consistency and the physical nature of the league. We should have added steel and experience in the summer through the spine of the team. NP or anyone would struggle to get a tune out of this squad. Too many forward thinking technical players brought in with no consideration that you need to fight in this league to be allowed to demonstrate those capabilities. Only vague hope is Lawal/Pearson appearing at some point to add bite into midfield. 100% this however trying to then set up this squad defensively is suicide |
