The defence aren't very good, but they are made to look a lot worse with Burger and Thompson in front of them . Burger is non existent and can't tackle and Thompson can't wait to lay the ball off to his nearest teammate

Shouldn't feature for a while. Anonymous. In a struggle we need players who you notice in respect to good and bad. Over the last few seasons we’ve had “invisible” players who you don’t even notice are playing or playing one good game in ten. Unfortunately Bae’s still searching for fitness at the moment after next to no pre season so him being off colour is genuine. For me he needs to come off the bench now before his confidence is completely shot. He’s got talent but at the moment you wouldn’t know he’s there. Likewise Cannon and Thompson. Though they were only cameo’s we need to start Vidigal and Gallagher next game as at least they looked up for the battle when they came on. Let’s also have a look at this Sako he can’t be any worse than the 2 that started yesterday. Bae has had plenty of games to be match fit.His form has absolutely nothing to do with fitness issues. He’s dodging tackles and his distribution has been awful.A shadow of the player he was last season.Think other teams have paid him a bit more attention this season and he’s been sussed.Hopefully I’m wrong.

He’s going to be playing catch-up isn’t he?

I think both should drop to the bench on Weds

what’s Thompson being shit got to do with someone saying bae junho is also shit? He’s been wank this season - as bad as anyone. The people who edit the highlights must have a Junho bias as the highlights of Stoke attacking seem to almost always involve Bae. I agree he doesn't score goals but if you can't see the skill he has to create space for himself you are also biased. It's not his fault we have no presence whatsoever in the box. I expected from the criticism yesterday that his 'chance' which he 'should have put away' was clear cut and close in. It wasn't the best shot but it was from outside the area with a player in the box ahead of him. Perhaps he could have slipped if to Million instead of shooting but it was on target and the gk had to save it, even if I probably would have. Tell me who else got in a position to shoot or is that not a skill, something that just happens. I am getting very frustrated with the praise for Million (who has done OK but no better than Junho did when he was played centrally) and the condemnation of Bae. He never asks to come off either, never hides. EDIT I just realised this might come across as a criticism of Manhoeff which it is not, just me asking what exactly he does so much better than Junho to make him the poster boy while Junho is the booboy. he’s certainly not reached his performance level of last season though is the point. He looks jaded. But it’s ok to be critical of him- the whole team have been fairly poor . Only million, who’s not been exceptional by any stretch, has offered somthing that could look like a little consistency.

Well played Junho. Thought he looked much more like what we expect from him. Some great footwork out there today. Just a classy player.

Ridiculously good.

Yeah second half Bae looked back to his best and was sublime. Hopefully he kicks on from here and we see that more often.

One of the many wins from tonight! This pair actually resembled the players we all thought they were! 🤞🤞🤞

Both played well.
Their players were bouncing off bae second half.

You shouldn't don't drop a player with Junho's pedigree just because of few mediocre matches. Especially when when being mediocre by his own standards he still wasn't amongst the worst players on the pitch in any of those matches.
The form is temporary, the class is permanent.

Burger back to his usual disappearing act, it's so obvious how passive he is in games at this point and how the midfield looks more stable when he's not in the team. Cash in now whilst we can and spend the money on a proper right back.

Junho was decent other than the early fuck up,not sure I’d have taken him off but it didn’t harm us at all really.
Burger just looks leggy and off it. Gets run past easily and so loose with the ball at times.

Gets run past easily and so loose with the ball at times. Junho is an enigma to me. He does some really positive things but there was a moment today in the first half where he was out on the right and had Koumas waiting to receive the ball by the touchline directly infont of him. He dwelled on it and rather than passing back ran straight into the Swansea defence. This came moments after he needed around 5 seconds on the edge of the box to make his mind up before giving it away. In the final third his decision making is baffling at times.

Burger's fouling is getting ridiculous. Had to be taken off before he was sent off today. Again, they are stupid fouls in stupid areas. If you're going to get booked, at least take one for the team or hurt the opponent.

There is a very good inner player somewhere in both of them. Maybe (no definitely) Stoke are unable to get the best out of them.

Burger is as much of a liability as Pearson is,needless bookings every game. As soon as he gets booked I would sub him.

Junho has some skill but he needs some serious coaching on the correct decision to make in most situations.
Really lacking in a footballing brain department

Jun-Ho had a very poor first half and should have been replaced by Million at half time with Koumas moved over to the left.

Burger is passive in every game cos he gets booked within 15 mins of every match, going 75 mins without making a tackle cos he’s already been booked hampers his performance…it’s ridiculous🔴⚪️

Cash in now whilst we can and spend the money on a proper right back. I'm hoping that one of Bosun or Seko can take over this position in the team. Miss some left footed input though in the setup unless Enda can keep going.
