Burgers best games were when he captained the team last season for a few games. i’m getting fed up of saying this , he’s played most of his career as a 6 , it’s where he’s best , but we play him further forward , and ppl are surprised when he doesn’t perform 🤦♂️

I think burger will come good again. I kind of do wish we sold him when he was worth a lot though, we wouldn't be fucked without him

I thought burger had a half decent first half. Junho didn’t do a thing right for the entire time he was on the pitch. Played like he had his boots on the wrong feet

It's not though, not on the performances we've seen from both Jun-Ho and Burger this season. Gouranga. Yes it is. Baker and Laurent were major contributors in numerous bottom half finishes. Burger is a concern, but Junho has missed a good chunk of pre season, but comes off the back off a really strong second half of last season. So remind us all where we finished last season with Jun-Ho and Burger major contributors? Gouranga.

IMHO Burger did not play well. Committed some silly fouls and then showed his frustration. He should have been taken off and thompson or Seko given a chance. We would not have missed Burger today and he could have been a liability with a different referee.

Very concerning. always thought stoke fans went over the top with him , last season he’s showed glimpse of skill but never any real end product ( goals & assists) . Been very disappointing so far this season , but early days let’s hope he can start producing what we all hope he can

Wondering if Junho got a bit confused. Had some good form last season then voted player of the season but this season hasn't been a regular starter and is asking himself why. Automatically starting isn't a given but it would make some players think.

Both very poor today.
The head coach is not getting either of them to realise their full potential.
Good coaches generally get the best from most if their players.

Automatically starting isn't a given but it would make some players think. He’s started every league game he’s been fit for! Aside from the Watford match where he came on from the bench as he was coming back from injury. Hopefully it’s just a dip in form and that his head hasn’t been turned but he has lost that zip from last season so far.

With Junho not only is he playing poorly he looks so disinterested?
There was talk of a new contract wasn’t there during the window? I wonder if something has gone on? Just a thought as it’s just so inexplicable. Bad form yes but looking disinterested?

Agree his bodly language yesterday was terrible gibsom twicw gave him a rollicking for being off it which is unusual no matter what you think of his wmd product

Junho, looks well off it at the minute, can’t put a foot right. And Burger hasn’t had a good game since he came back from that 2 game ban towards the end of last season I don't understand the way he is being used. It was obvious when he played more centrally last season that he didn't understand the role. At the end of the season he had the left wing nailed coming inside and going outside and seeming to keep the ball. A season to improve his input in terms of goals and assists is what I was expecting. He misses most of preseason and then gets shoved into the middle where, in his first match, Jordan Thompson was having to talk him through his positioning. He is 21, not brilliant at English, and one of our own players who could prove to be a great asset and yet he seems to have lost the left wing to Koumas who I think could be a better fit than Junho centrally because of his physicality and understanding of the game. His background at Liverpool will make him far more adaptable and aware of tactics than Junho's background in Korea. I know he played on the left yesterday but he looked very low on confidence. Perhaps three matches playing centrally has caused that.

Shocker! young lad just coming back from injury has a drop in form, just give the lad a chance, he’ll be fine. Let’s face it Koumas was poor yesterday as was Moran. They are young players sometimes it just goes that way. As for Burger he was fine first half but was poor with the rest in the 2nd. Just play him in his best position and he will be fine also.

I do hope the manager isn’t getting his claws into them too much, more so Junho. I feel like he was better because he didn’t really understand and was a bit of a free spirit gliding around. Now he looks like he’s understanding more or being asked to do more, and he’s not quite getting it. He has been injured though and has been more ineffective than awful I’d say. Burger looks absolutely crap though. He’s not getting around the pitch, he’s never where you think he should be and he’s not contributed anything for ages.

There’s no doubt that the pair of them have been poor this season but in Burger’s case it’s a carry on from the end of last season also.Maybe the pair of them need a spell on the sidelines to regain some form

Summer Transfer Window opens 14th of June General consensus
"We must keep hold of Burger and Bae" "Stoke, don't you dare sell them!" "I'm so worried we'll lose our crown jewels" "Starting bids £10m minimum for Burger" "Starting bids £20m minimum for Bae"
and so on and so on......................
Summer Transfer Window closes 30th of August
General consensus
"Yes! It's shut, we've kept them both!" "Great window!" "Maybe the play offs beckon now?"
14 Days Later.......
Pah, overrated.

It's mystifying what's wrong with these players or maybe they just weren't as good as we thought they were. This I just don’t understand why they have suddenly become so woeful? I really don’t as you say mystified. Junho last year would have controlled and buried that chance? Would he though ? His finishing has been poor since he came , that is a huge area of improvement for him , he missed a fair few chances last season too , they need leadership in the midfield and have left themselves short hence the madness of starting Gooch ion there yesterday . As limited as he is Thompson will have to play until the two injured players are ready. Moran looks decent for the right and Junho left but its not going to win many battles in this league

Pah, overrated. Not everyone. Neither has done much in the Championship yet. For the money we paid, Burger is a lightweight disappointment who can't last 90. Junho has potential and at present that's all. Shows the paucity of player we've had in recent years when they're lauded. Imho Junho will be a player but I don't see one yet in Burger. Saying that, he's never a #8.

I think bae is as poor as burger. Both are incredibly ineffective in pivotal roles. Not one forward pass from either yesterday. Thompson looked much better than burger when he came on. Both Should be on the bench against Hull. We need to win and try keep midtable until something start to click and get some consistency. Yesterday was the Watford game repeating itself, but against a lesser team. Must be patient, but some changes need to be made!

Both missing in action again tonight WTF has happened to the pair of them🤷♂️ I have no conspiracy to offer but something just doesn't seem right. You don't go from the best two players to this for no reason. Burger especially just looks like a shadow of what he was. He needed taming, not nullifying completely.
